I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience…read more I brought my vehicle in for a window tint installation, and within a day I noticed multiple issues. Several areas of the tint were already peeling, there were bubbles throughout the film, and there was hair and other debris trapped underneath the tint. This was not the quality of work I expected from a professional installer. Before leaving my car, I specifically explained that the rear hatch handle was brittle and demonstrated how to open it properly. When I picked up my vehicle, the handle had been broken. When I returned to discuss the damage and the failing tint, the owner refused to acknowledge either issue. Instead of addressing the poor workmanship or taking responsibility for the damaged handle, he offered only a refund if the tint was removed. After discussing it further, I was able to receive a refund while keeping the tint in place, but there was still no acknowledgment of the damage to my vehicle or the quality of the installation. I appreciate receiving my money back, but I would have preferred a professionally installed product and accountability for the damage done to my car. Based on my experience, I would not trust this shop with another vehicle.

I previously had a good experience with Elite Auto Sounds (New Braunfels), but my latest visit was…read moreone of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I brought in an aftermarket Android head-unit and HD backup camera for my daughter's car, which they said they could install in 3-4 hours with a lifetime labor warranty. After drop-off, the owner called saying the harness was wrong, despite me providing instructions, diagrams, and resources. Hours later, he complained about the unit, blamed it on being "from China," and said such installs were always a "nightmare." The car was returned late that day, with CarPlay not working (audio) and the next morning I discovered the backup camera was crooked, there was trim damage, and the head-unit wasn't receiving signal from the OEM system. When I returned for a warranty fix, staff claimed the unit was defective, refused to let me inspect the work, and threatened a $125 diagnostic fee when asked for a refund if I could fix the issue myself. They insisted the installation was fine. I took the car home, disassembled the dash, and found two improperly connected cables. Once corrected, the system worked perfectly. I provided proof and requested a refund since the work was not done properly, but the owner ignored my calls and texts, later having staff reiterate they wouldn't refund labor on a "Chinese unit." They failed to honor their stated lifetime labor warranty, refused accountability, and blamed the product rather than their poor installation. Bottom line: This was a deeply unprofessional experience, and I would strongly advise others to either do the work themselves or find a company that stands behind its work.

I'm leaving this review so other people don't make the same mistake I did…read more I posted my original review in my neighborhood Facebook group with over 3,100 residents and I have already found multiple neighbors dealing with the same nightmare from this shop. That alone should tell you everything. I came here because I was told they could deliver the sound system I wanted. Instead, I paid $3,300 and ended up with a system that was installed incorrectly, misdiagnosed repeatedly, dragged out for nearly a month, and now I'm being told I need to pay even more money to fix problems they created. My car was at their shop for 3 days, and even after that, I had to return my vehicle multiple times because the issues were never actually fixed. The biggest issue is they never properly diagnosed my vehicle before selling me parts and starting the install. There was no clear estimate, no professional diagnostic process, and no transparency. They just started selling parts and guessing, and that guessing cost me thousands. Here's what went wrong. They ordered and installed the wrong speakers. They installed expensive speakers but did not properly power them. I came in wanting a new amplifier, and instead they pushed me into a head unit I did not want. The head unit they installed underpowers my speakers because it only powers 4 speakers. My subwoofer now overpowers the entire system, so the balance is completely wrong. I was told false information, including being told my tailgate speakers were "blown," when the real issue was how the system was wired. I later found out the speakers were wired directly to the head unit, which is something I had to research myself after trusting the professionals. I now have fewer speakers and tweeters than I originally had. After all of this, my tailgate lights are now not working, so now I'm dealing with audio issues and electrical issues after spending $3,300. Instead of owning the mistakes and fixing them, I'm being sent another quote and told to spend more money. I have all conversations recorded and all texts saved. Next week, my vehicle is being diagnosed by another shop so everything can be professionally inspected and documented. I'm also meeting up with my neighbors who have dealt with the same situation. We are going over their stories and proof as well to build my case even further. Once I have all the documentation and information needed, this will be taken through the legal system and handled accordingly. Sad that I even have to take it this far, but I'm not letting this happen to me or anyone else without accountability. If you're considering coming here, don't. If your vehicle needs diagnosing, expect them to start selling you parts first and "figure it out" as they go. And when it's wrong, you'll be the one paying for it. One of the worst service experiences I've ever had, especially for a $3,300 job.

It stoped functioning recently. I attempted to identify the problem but was not successful. I call M & C on a day they were closed. They call me back a few days later. I let them know that I needed someone to troubleshoot my camera and figure out what the issue is. They quoted me a price just to troubleshoot. I thought the price was fair and I headed over. I fully expected them to tell me that a high cost repair or part was needed. I was very wrong. They not only identified the minor issue, they repaired it in less than 10 minutes, and charged me a little less than they quoted me. When I reminded them of the original quote, they dismissed it, letting me know that it was easy fix for them. To say I was impressed with their candor and work is an understatement. I did a search of local shops that did window tinting and was quoted $88 for two windows. I called around to another shop and they quoted me just under $300 for tint removal and applying new tints. I will note that the parking situation is a bit difficult. I pulled up a few minutes before opening and the lot was full in front of the shop so I pulled in to the lot next door. Also, backing out is kind of scary because it is just the main road once you back of of the driveway. The service was great, the gentleman checked me in right away and I said I was going to wait for the tinting to be done and said it would not take too long. And he as right because the whole process took about an hour! It was really incredible - there was one guy checking in all the cars, answering questions, and he did the tint removal and application by himself! The tints come with a lifetime warranty of car ownership. There were little bubbles on the windows a day or two after application but I was told this would happen. They went away after a few days.
