Third time is a charm. After the first two contractors did an awful job costing me incredible sums of money, I finally had Bryan come and show how things are done right. I've gotten good at knowing when someone really knows what they are talking about because a lot of guys out there think they do and talk with confidence, but Bryan and his team truly do. Bryan thinks about the big picture after many years of experience. He and his son, Riley, did some of the (superb) work themselves, which is a sign they truly know what they're doing. Save yourself the headache and money and go to Bryan for your remodel. He does complete renovations, not just tile. For us he fixed some plumbing and floated and tiled our backsplash and tub/shower and tiled our floor. Randy was our tiler and was clean, respectful, and meticulous with the difficult vertical tile installation. Bryan is laid back, but he takes his work and his business very seriously. Great communication. He prefers text but was happy to talk over the phone when I preferred that. He has one bad review about money. As someone who had money stolen from me from a contractor, I cannot imagine this being a legitimate issue with BW Tile. Bryan asked for reasonable payment installations. He only takes a deposit of 10% of the contract amount or $1K, whichever is LESS, which is the law. Anyone asking for more?- run away. Also look for a license number that has been around for many years and check that the name on the contractor's drivers license matches what is on the license. read more

Bryan is a licensed contractor for tilework and he and his team did a wonderful job with our kitchen flooring and small bathroom. He also scheduled and organized the cabinet work (Kenny- tremendous guy). He works with a polite and efficient countertop trades person, K&C in Norwalk, I believe, and Bryan organized this as well. Bryan and Brian did the remainder work for the plumbing and electrical. There were a few upcharges that were required. We are pleased with the outcome. (See pics.) Bryan does communicate by texting. From the timeline to complete the project to who will be at your house each day (and what time), Bryan keeps you informed on every step of the project. 2. Expert planning. The project is expertly choreographed so that something is happening everyday and there is minimal (if any) downtime. The projects have always finished on time unless there there is something completely out of left field (which is no one's fault). 3. Integrity. Do not use B.W. Tile. We paid him to complete a 2 bathroom job. He charged $17,000 for the two bathrooms. Every week he demanded money and he paid him a total of $16,500 in cash because he didn't want to claim it on his taxes. We kept asking when the second bathroom would be done. Two months later and we get a text (not even a phone call) stating he's decided NOT to do the 2nd bathroom. I requested my money back since he didn't do the job, and he refused. After screaming and yelling at me for 20 minutes, he refused to return our money so now we will be taking him to court. Way to go B.W. Tile! read more

Bryan did our kitchen backsplash three years ago. He was really helpful coordinating the work between the granite guy, himself, and the plumber. Although there was no GC onboard, we needed guidance, and he stepped up, gave us help and referrals, and showed himself to be a leader. We were very pleased with his work, and were happy to use BW Tile again just recently for remodeling our hall bath. I (still) do not know of a GC in the HBeach area, and was glad when Bryan said he would handle all the subs needed for this job. Bryan is good with communication! He responds promptly to texts, and will let you know exactly when he can get back to you, or when jobs are tentatively scheduled. He remembers details, such as installing the hotel towel rack in the new shower (just a verbal agreement, not on the written quote). This was after the whole project was finished. He had to make an extra trip over here to do it. Although my hubby has the tools, and is capable of doing the job, we both felt nervous about drilling into brand new tile. Bryan was happy to do it for us, although it turned out to be two trips over here, since he had to repair a tiny piece of grout that fell out during the difficult drilling. But that is what describes Bryan: he wants customers to be happy, and he stands by his work. They broke several items in the bathroom and reset my thermostat. He denied it however I know he or one of his workers did it. The project was in February and it was cold in the morning. I thought something was wrong with me central heater & air. I finally checked the thermostat and the only people that were there were him and his crew.
