Very reasonable prices. We paid about half up front with balace at completion. We did have some add-ons, which Christian priced out for us, so there were no surprises come final payment. The crew was punctual every day and worked very quickly. They were also very patient with us as we made some adjustments, i.e. paint color. Prior to starting, we provided Christian our Home Depot credit card so he was able to buy all the materials. No problem with that. At completion, he hauled away all the debris. I highly recommend Thunder. Super nice guys. Reasonably priced. Excellent craftsman. The pictures below don't really do the job justice but you get the idea. Thank you, Thunder!

Best part of all....he was able to schedule and have the work done 2 days after Christmas! I have been buying and renovating homes for 30 years now and my previous roofer recently retired. I am very selective of who I use and Sunset Siding Windows and Roofing sure hit the mark again! We were in need of having some glass blocks replaced in two different windows on our bungalow…read more After talking with Bill we decided the best course of action was to replace both windows entirely. It made the most sense based on the number of blocks that needed repair and the condition of some other blocks. Bill gave a quick and very reasonable estimate for the work to be done. He was upfront about the timeline and was very flexible in scheduling. On the day of the work, the crew sent out was very professional and on time. (A few minutes earlier actually, and that's ok!). They were very polite and got to work right away taking out the old windows. Within an hour and a half, the windows were fine and the new windows were in. When I went out to check the work, it was literally like no one was ever there. They cleaned up everything immaculately and left without a trace. One of, if not the best experience I've had with contractors doing work in our home. We have three other glass block windows that all will likely need to be replaced in the near future, and there is no doubt in my mind on who I am calling for that job! Thanks, Hardy Glass!

I also needed someone to procure materials and project manage as I live 2K miles away. Jozef and his team were extremely attentive throughout the entire process, completed the work in a very reasonable time frame, and had competitive rates. Jozef even walked me through a couple of additional items that made a huge difference in the remodel including painting the cabinets instead of replacing (I don't know how they did it but they turned out perfectly), moving a cabinet for better sight lines, making a waterfall edge to update the counter, and putting a light in the newly installed stand up shower in the bathroom. All of the work is extremely high quality including some of the best tile work I have seen (and there was a lot of it). Quality Remodeling, Inc. truly lives up to their name. From the moment I met the owner Scot, I…read morecould tell he was a professional and took our job seriously. Our project had a few different elements - we wanted to completely gut our master bath, and convert a water closet in that bathroom to a laundry area accessed from the hallway instead. The area we were remodeling was an addition put on before we moved in, and the heating and A/C was done so poorly our bedroom and bathroom barely received any heat or A/C at all, so we also wanted to put in a new HVAC system for the addition. Last minute, we were also able to add another hall closet. Others who'd come to give us quotes on our somewhat complicated project stayed 5 minutes. Scot took precise measurements, asked tons of questions, and thought of every aspect of the project so he was able to give us an accurate quote upfront (he was the only one who noticed we'd need a new electrical panel, for example. I know the others would have figured it out, but Scot was the only one who thought to go to the basement and look. For the contractors that didn't, that would have added a cost on later in the project after we'd budgeted without it, and that's just one example of what Scot caught that other builders didn't). He also came back a second time with a team of HVAC professionals to assess our HVAC issues and discuss solutions before giving us a quote. Before he had our business, he already treated us like his most important customer. After being burned by a different contractor in a kitchen remodel years ago, I was weary of starting a new project. Scot gave us a realistic timeline that we agreed on, and stuck to it. We had one worker, Walter, here every day of the project (occasionally even on Saturdays and a holiday). He was so polite, and worked so hard on our project. There were many other days where there would be a team here assisting Walter, but even if he was the only person here for the day, he always made a ton of progress on the project (and really, another person wasn't necessary those days). His work was absolutely beautiful, high-quality, and it is obvious he pays close attention to detail. Our house wasn't left a mess, either - as it was appropriate to the job, the worksite was cleaned as they went, and with the exception of dust (which is to be expected), I didn't have a huge mess to clean up when everything was complete. The other thing I loved about working with Quality Remodeling is that the owner Scot was constantly in contact with me, whether by phone, texting (which was great!), and he came by at least once a week to check up on things. So did the foreman for the project, Mark. I knew they were always around if I had questions or problems. Whenever I'd have to deal with sub-contractor (like for the vanities or the countertops), Scot would make sure I got in touch with the right person, then he'd follow up with me and them to make sure everything was going according to plan, budget, and schedule. The sub-contractors Quality Remodeling works with were all top-notch. Scot is such a friendly, knowledgeable guy. He made sure that we got what we wanted, even when it was a little hard to do. He even tried to track down some elusive tile I had found online, and after our project was completed, he checks up to make sure things are going well. We experienced a problem with one of the plumbing fixtures we bought after our project was completed, and Scot called the plumbing company on my behalf after they told me they wouldn't exchange it, and got a manager to override the decision. You can tell he genuinely cares and wants people to be happy with their projects, even after his obligation to the customer is complete. I have already recommended Quality Remodeling, Inc. to family members considering remodels. Our project turned out to be exactly what I had envisioned, and the construction of it truly lives up to the name Quality. It was truly a joy to work with the Quality Remodeling team. They know what they are doing, and they truly care about their customers. If we have any projects in the future, I know I'll be calling Quality Remodeling, Inc. in a heartbeat.

We started…read moregetting leaks in the ceiling in two places in our kitchen, and called about a half a dozen places in and around the city to come out and assess. The proposals were all over the place. Some companies said it couldn't be done without ripping off the rooftop deck and repairing everything. Some companies said it wasn't the roof at all, it was condensation inside the house? Jeff at Rollin Contracting was way more honest and practical in his assessment. He pointed out where he suspected the two leaks were coming from, but said that you never really know until you rip up the roof and move the air conditioner and take a look. He told us that roof repair was tricky, that the guys who said we might have to replace the whole roof could be right. But he wouldn't start with that, he would start with the less expensive approach. Granted, there was the risk that if it didn't work, we would have wasted that money when they re-did the whole roof, but we decided to gamble on a $2000 repair rather than jump into the $12,000 repair of the whole roof. Rollin Contracting was the only one who was honest and open and gave us options. He was also the one who was most confident in where he thought the leaks were coming from. It has now been one month since they repaired both potential sources of the leak, and neither of the leaks have come back. And in case you haven't been paying attention, we've gotten absolutely drenched this May. Meaning there is no doubt in my mind that they successfully fixed the leaks. The contractors that came to do the work were great, they didn't even enter the house. I offered to let them come inside to get to the rooftop, and they said they preferred to just go up and over to keep our house clean. While taking up the wooden boards on the rooftop deck to do the roof repair, they accidentally broke one of the boards. They went to Home Depot and replaced the board that day. Not a big deal, and super quick to fix it. Also, at the last minute (after we had signed the contract), I realized that I had forgotten to ask them about the fireplace, which also occasionally drips water during bad storms. I asked Jeff if he would have his guys look at the chimney to see if they could identify the source of the potential leak and to let me know what his recommendations were to have that fixed as well. He went ahead and had his guys caulk it while they were up there without even charging us. I know that's probably not a huge expense, but it was still a nice gesture to just throw that in. So across the board it was a great experience. Would definitely work with these guys again and recommend them with confidence.

Please think twice before hiring this contractor - it will not be worth it if there are any uncertainties re: your project and they will say anything to get your job. We hired Jeff to perform some deck work for our three flat. Jeff quoted us $6K to replace certain posts and railings. One year later, additional work was clearly required because railings were loose and Jeff performed an additional $3K worth of work. At no time to Jeff represent himself as anything other than qualified to perform the work. Turns out he never even got a permit for the work. We were cited by the city for non-compliance shortly after his second round of work. He complied with fixing some of the issues identified. When he met with the inspector to review the work and confirm compliance, he essentially yelled, screamed, stormed off and refused to fix any of the additional work. We are now left with a deck that still needs work, $12K later. Jeff continues not to respond to emails/requests for him to finish his work. Jeff misrepresented his ability to do deck work according to city law and code. His unprofessionalism in resolving the issue that he created (he should have just said his people didnt do deck work maybe instead of doing a poor job and then getting upset when someone challenged him to do the work properly) was so disappointing. Do not work with this contractor.
