Had to get a birthday cake made and they were able to squeeze me in. We're just a few days away before the party. We got a Scooby Doo cake made which turned out to be excellent. The problem with fondant cakes is that they look good but taste horrible with these guys however, the cake actually was edible and tasted pretty darn good, so good that we actually ended up finishing the entire cake. Just picked up custom cake today. Addison was the counter person we received the cake from. She was frankly short and rude with us. Asked us if we liked the cake, and when we said the color looked too blue rather than purple, she apologized and said "nothing we can do for whole color of the cake" and walked away; back to a customer phone call. While we understand that the entire color can't be changed, she asked for our feedback but didn't really seem to want it. Took the cake out to the car (by myself); came back to get receipt; she ripped it off the back of the order and walked away, very rudely. (She was off the phone) I asked for her name and she said Addison. I had planned to buy more pastries, but with the attitude received, wanted nothing to do with the place. We will know tonight if the taste is ok. (In photos, I black marked out the name) But the presentation, and the box - very poorly done. Box is not nearly ridged enough for cake this size, and the cake is simply too tall for the box, causing the lid to smush the top of the cake. You can see from side photo how it is too tall for the box. If we hadn't been treated so rudely, we might have asked for larger box. The color is off from the photo we sent in. The yellow flowers are ok, but nothing great. The leaves are done better than in the photo, but again, nothing special. The sparkles are nice. In the short drive home, the cake got a crack in the side of it as well. We won't be back. They came recommended by a friend but based on this experience, won't go back to them. Hope the owners see this and make some changes. For $100, you would think this cake would be a LOT better than it shows; and it better taste fantastic. First visit to this bakery last Tuesday and they were able to fulfill an order for 3lbs of cookies for a Friday pickup. This was for my birthday party on Saturday as a dessert alternate to cake. Price was way less than other locally owned bakeries I checked out. The lady that helped me with my order was super nice and helpful. I'm not sure how they tasted because my guests tore them up, only about 5 cookies left over!!! They all said the were really good. To be honest I was at 1st not thrilled with my 1st purchase, until I ate the Cream Horn. I did not get the spinach and feta cheese crossaint until the 2nd and 3rd visit. These 2 items are AMAZING!!! I love the deserts here, especially the pineapple upside down cake; they are made to be individual size but you can split it and share with another, its pretty big. I do recommend you get your own because once you taste it you will want it all!!!! They have other desserts there too but I haven't tried them all yet. I have tried the macarons which are yummy and the chocolate turtle cake. I am not sure if they make them all without caramel as what a traditional turtle cake comes with but the one I got was just chocolate cake with fudge frosting and walnuts. It was still pretty delicious so far those are my top 3 items I have tried and loved! I look forward to going back again and getting more sweets! They don't follow directions very well. I explained the cake design I wanted several times and even provided two images to visually show what I did/did not want. I did not care for the look of my baby shower cake which wouldn't be an issue if I didn't pay $277 for my cake for 35 people. I will probably not use this bakery again. I always purchase my cakes from here. Sadly this is the last time. Addison was very rude on the phone. They can't even decide on their prices. They wanted to charge $10 per flower which would be fine if the flowers were all the same size however they weren't. It was 2 big flowers and the small buds on the side. So it would've been just $60 dollars for cake decor. Really disappointed how she handled the phone call. Update they called me back to cancel my cake order the owner of the store was extremely RUDE bc I didn't wanna listen to her defend the original girl Addison being rude to me she basically called me back to argue with me bc I didn't wanna listen and cancelled my order bc I didn't wanna hear her break down $60 dollars in decorations when the cake costs $40 dollars to make this place is disgusting how they talk to people ! They have them in powdered and cinnamon sugar, but I stick to the powdered version. The cookies are not always available, but there is always something available to satisfy your bakery needs. I can't believe this place!!! I went to pick up a cake on Sunday for my daughters 3rd Birthday. We asked for a Batman symbol to cover the whole cake and to put "happy 3rd Birthday Kailea". I have gone to this bakery a few times. I always seem to forget about it because it's tucked in the corner on 43rd ave and Thunderbird Rd. Pricing can be a little high on certain things but the quality justifies it. $3 a muffin and $10.99 a pound for assorted cookies. We should have bought 2 pounds because the cookies went quick once we got home.We also received a free cupcake for checking in with Yelp. Our cupcake choices were between orange chocolate or sundae. We went with orange choclate and then decided to pick up a chocolate brownie for $4. The bf accidentally dropped the orange cupcake before we could try it...... We contemplated a scenario very similar to a Friend's episode where they eat the cheesecake off the floor with no shame. We decide against eating floor cupcake and we will just have to head back for more cupcakes another day. We decided to eat the brownie on the car ride home. Super thick, defitinely need a drink, a glass of milk would have been amazing! They had a quite a few cakes in cold cases ranging from birthday cakes to wedding cakes. Beautiful speciality cakes. I have been a customer for a very long time. I have never had an issue until now. I went to a cake tasting and took a picture of the cake that my step daughter designed. I was asked to email to them and then began talking to a girl who was going to handle our order. We picked colors discussed decorations etc... was told that 3 tier cake was 325.00. I made a very clear that this cake sad very special who designed it and that it was for my Daughter's college graduation. I had decided that I would buy the decoration. I stopped in to drop them off and met with a different girl that said nothing was written down did not know the colors , what to write on it and the decorations. Everything seemed clarified. On Saturday my other daughter went to pick the cake up which was supposed to be ready at 4:00. Our party was starting at 5pm. We Love almost 45 minutes to a hour depending on traffic. When my daughter got there the cake was not ready. A designer came out and told her that they are running behind because one of her Co workers was throwing up all day everywhere. Then proceeded to yell my daughter she might be pregnant we aren't sure. Then another girl said that the girl had digestive issues. I tried to call the bakery no one would answer I asked my daughter to let them know in trying to call. The girl said I can't pick up the phone after hours. I said then put her on your phone she said no I ended up on speaker and asked the girl what was going on. She said that her cop worker was throwing up all day and that she fell behind. My daughter got the cake in the car and was holding it and it almost fell over they forgot to put the support rod in the cake. They took it back in and fixed it. My daughter arrived at her sister's party around 5:15 with this cake I liked at it and instantly was upset. It was so poorly out together. They did not even start the cake decorating until after my daughter arrived. They stayed air brushing it. I told the girl on the phone I will call on Monday. I called this morning spoke to a manager named Gavin. He asked me to send him the photos , I sent them over I them spoke with him a little while later when he proceeded to tell me one the cake leaves the store its not there problem. That the disclosure states it on the order form. I explained to issues and events during the process let him know that we threw the cake in the garbage it was horrible. I did take the large portion back out of the garbage bag just in case they wanted to see it. As I explained this to him he started yelling at me and calling me a liar. He said that the pictures I sent him that there was nothing wrong with the cake and that he will not be doing anything to help us with this issue. I asked him for a corporate email or phone number he gave me his bosses name and the email. I emailed Have the owner and have not heard anything at this time. I have recommended this basket to alot of people over the years. I WILL NEVER BUY 1 THING FROM THROUGH AGAIN. FROM BEGINNING TO END THERE WAS ISSUES AND NO ONE KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON.
