Cute little artsy cafe near the train. The girls in there were kind and so happy, it was a feel good atmosphere. LOVEEEEED this breakfast sandwich. got an onion jalapeno & cheddar bagel with chicken sausage, medium fried egg and a b side hash brown with veggie cream cheese!!! OMGGGG! it was delicious, their chicken sausage was truly one of a kind, the bagel was crisp but soft and buttery. Everything flowed together wonderfully! I spent 17 dollars on this sandwich which is absolutely crazy but so worth it if you wanna build your own and experience new flavors.

Chef Terry doesn't miss so it's kind of obvious that these would be the best bagels I've had in GA- came early on a Saturday & got a onion and jalapeño bagel with cream cheese and bacon.... 10/10 had a taste of the Boston cream pie donut & was blown away. Service was fast and friendly. The vibes are immaculate. I love the decor. It makes this little part of town feel like you're at a hip bagel shop in Brooklyn. I'd also like to mention that the prices were great.... Not sure if anyone else leaving a review has ever been out of the state or even town but I was shocked at how reasonably priced everything was! My only regret is not coming here sooner. Thank you for the amazing experience!

I like to try small pastry/bagel/tea/coffee shops. Decatur is such a chill spot and they have such quaint shops. Immediately the cardamom bun grabbed my attention. Scones, breads and fried pastries were in the case. The menu is not limited. I was only expecting coffee options. But they have teas, agua frescas and even alcoholic beverages. I had the tumeric ginger tea which was good to the last drop. Seating is limited inside. But don't let that stop you because there is seating outside in the courtyard.

The bagel was so small and tasted bad lol I paid 15!!!! They didn't even cream cheese both sides and the lox was NOT fresh!!! Not going back . My brother had the bagel w hummus and could not finish it. Way better bagels in Atlanta elsewhere

Prefacing this with saying I got these from the farmers market. There was a long line so I was influenced to check it out. I got a cinnamon roll, lemon donut, the cinnamon pretzel, and a bagel. I was dissapointed. The cinnamon pretzel was very heavy and kind of lacking. The cinnamon roll had a very odd taste to it. The jelly donut was pretty good, I'm just not the biggest fan of lemon. The bagel was the best part, it was great, perfectly flavored.

Food was great and fresh. It's a small coffee shop so make sure you are ok with being next to people. Service was great not warm and fuzzy but not rude. This was my first time visiting this place so i was confused as to where to order or pick up. I was impressed by the selection of food, pastries and just snacks on the go. Definitely will be coming back

Located in the heart of Decatur square! Parking here was definitely a bit of a tricky situation and on the pricier side. There wasn't a super long line when we got there. We opted to build our own bagels. I got the sea salt bagel with egg, bacon and cheese. And we got another with the plain bagel. I also ordered a matcha latte. The matcha latte was definitely not the best. It was super clumpy! It was also not super sweet and tasted more like milk than matcha. The bagels were on the smaller side as well. The eggs were wayyyy too salty even on a plain bagel. The bacon was pretty good though, very thick and had a good charred flavor. Overall, I thought the food was okay, and parking was lacking. There also weren't too many tables to sit at and the ones outside were very dirty.

The Za'atar bagel was very good and it was my first time ever having this type of bagel before. Paired with a garlic and chive schmear, it tasted fantastic! The barista was very nice and they had a good menu. They make their bagels from scratch every day and it tasted very fresh. The coffee was pretty good, but they didn't have straws, which is the only negative to the whole experience. We parked just down the street as we did not see a lot for parking nearby. It is pay to park on the street though. There are only about five tables inside, so it's not really much of a sit down place. They had a few outside patio tables. Very cute spot!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to B-Side Coffee! The food, service, and ambiance of the shop were all incredibly pleasing. One of my favorite things was the ability to customize your own bagel and of course, I took full advantage of that! We ordered an onion, jalapeño cheddar bagel with roasted garlic and chive schmear, and added their B-Side smoked salmon. It was more than enough for my boyfriend and I to share. We rated it a 7.5 only because we've had better elsewhere, but the flavor of the schmear was delicious and the portion was just right for the both of us. For drinks, I went with an iced matcha latte made with almond milk and their house-made vanilla syrup. My boyfriend ordered an iced coffee with almond milk and their house-made caramel and cinnamon syrup. We both agreed that our drinks were a solid 10/10. The house-made syrups were hands down our favorite part as the flavors really stood out to us. We would definitely add this coffee shop to our list of favorites!

Food was good and they had a lot of variety. It was on the pricier side but they have high quality ingredients. Inside was small but it seemed like people don't stay for that long so we were able to find a table. It was busy on Saturday morning -- the line was out of the door. Staff was nice and inside was decorated cool. It is loud inside -- there is a lot of chatter and music pretty loud, but the music they were playing was cool There is no parking lot, so you have to pay for street parking.

We decided to give this place a try and had high hopes since it seems to always have a steady flow of people coming and going. No free parking, you have to park on the street or in one of the nearby lots and pay. The inside is beautifully decorated, but very small and only a few seats. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a croissant, and my husband ordered an iced vanilla chai. The lady taking our order was trying to do that and talk to a coworker at the same time. She repeated the order back to us wrong and had to start all over. After I paid, she said she'd go ahead and get my croissant and the drinks would be ready in a few min. Instead, she finished the conversation with a coworker, went to the back and the. took another order. When she was finished, I asked about the croissant. She apologized for forgetting and got it. The wait for our drinks was about 10 min. My husband had to go back to the counter and then they made them. The croissant was ok but drinks were bad. My vanilla latte was barely sweet at all, and my husband said his drink seemed watered down.

Egg and Cheese on Everything Bagel

The everything bagel still isn't that everything-y, but the egg and cheese sandwich was still tasty. We tried two pastries - a scone and a brioche. They tasted good, but I wish they were warm. Maybe we were supposed to ask for them to be warmed? Not sure. You wait in line to order and they call your name when it's ready. Limited seating. Decent option for a quick breakfast in Decatur.

Cute and lively coffee/brunch spot. Breakfast sandwich on a roll was tasty but the roll was a bit tough - not the freshest. Also tried a matcha. Vanilla flavoring was nice and it was a tad sweeter than I like but overall balanced. Match wasn't disolved all that well but that is kind of expected too.

Great bakery in Atlanta! My friend and I shared a variety of pastries:…read more - Sausage Roll: The flavor was great and a generous amount of meat. Wish this was heated up though, I feel like it would've been better. - Oxtail Meat Pie: Similar to the sausage roll with a generous amount of meat but wish it was heated up. It was pretty hefty. - Strawberry Pistachio and Coconut Cream Danishes: Both were so good! I loved the crispy and crunchy danishes and the flavors were great in these. I like the savory pistachios and the creamy and crumbly coconut cream. - Chocolate Chip Cookie: This was such a delicious cookie! Perfectly made in between soft and firm and textures. The sea salt on top was chef's kiss. The lines move pretty fast. There's nowhere to sit and lounge, so you would need to take these pastries elsewhere to enjoy. The staff is also really nice and patient when my friend and I were trying to decide on pastries. Overall, I think these pastries would do good in an air fryer/oven. I would come back, but bring the pastries home to warm and crisp them up a bit. I also really want to try their burger which is only sold on the weekend at certain times!

I decided to try the infamous Sunday burger. I was not in the mood to drive to Kirkwood on Sunday…read moreand miss what I drove there for. I called in the morning to confirm the time they serve it. I was told to get here by 12:30pm because they serve the burgers at 1pm and the line gets long and they run out. Found out later in line from the person in front of me that they make 130-170 burgers and they sell them all. That's a lot of burgers. I thought it was all hype because I got there at 12:20pm and there was no line. I went in and asked to make sure this was the right place, the guy said to wait outside, they start selling it at 1pm. I was 1st in line. Waited 5 mins then went to my car to get my headphones. By the time I came back, 3 people were now in front of me. I guess the 12:30pm recommendation was valid. By 12:35pm there were 20 people behind me. I do not like waiting, so I'm glad I was early to at least be served 1st. Never been here before, they are busy. When I got here, it was packed with people buying bread and pastries inside. I didn't get to buy the sourdough bread. It was sold out. Apparently, the locals come every Sunday for this burger. I guess they hang a burger flag out when it's burger time some of the people in the line in front of me felt a way that they didn't do that this time. I guess they're getting comfortable and just trying to knock the rush/crowd out. I think coming at one would be fine if they're selling 170 burgers I think the problem is they don't limit the amount of burgers you can buy. At least I don't think so. Now for this burger. Not worth it. Not worth the wait or the hype. I'm still surprised how basic tasted. They need a housemate sauce or something on it. It's literally just one burger and pickles. If it was pack full of flavor and well seasoned, that would be enough. But it's not. The best part about it is the bun. And 30mins after eating the burger, I didn't feel so good. My stomach started hurting, and that was the only thing I ate all day. I avoid eating beef altogether, but I will here and there as of late. My boyfriend eats beef, but he started feeling sick maybe an hour later as well. I was disappointed because I didn't know they pre-make the burgers and just throw them in the bag. You can't customize it or anything. I think we got sick because the burgers were medium. They were not cooked well, and I always get beef burgers cooked all the way through. The way they're rushing you out of there like an express assembly line is crazy. I really wanted to wait to ask them to prepare me two, made well since they were making burgers as they were going along, I believe. I would have waited to have them made well but the way they were rushing you out, it just wasn't the place to ask for anything extra or additional and I don't like places like that. Too strict too many rules and you don't feel comfortable. Even though you're spending $70 on 2 burgers and some pastries. Compared to a pack of ground beef to make your own burgers, this is a lot. I bought two burgers $17 each, and 5 pastries to try because I won't be coming back here anytime soon. I will say, great pastry selection. I was talking to a guy in line and I asked him if he ever had the kouign amann. It looked good. He said yes, it was good, and the chocolate kouign amann, he's going to try as well. I purchased a chocolate kouign amann, a regular kouign amann, cardamom bun, a hazelnut bun, and monkey bread. I wrote everything down outside that I was going to buy so I didn't waste any time. I already spotted the monkey bread when I walked in. The woman packaging up the food was about to fix her face to say they didn't have any monkey bread, when they were clearly at the other end. Maybe that was her doing me a favor because I was highly disappointed in the monkey bread. I'm on a monkey bread kick, and I have been trying it at a lot of places. This one was not good. They sprinkle lemon zest on it, which kind of threw me off, and the bread itself was very dry even after warming it up, adding melted butter and honey. It still was not good. The best thing was the original kouign amann. The chocolate one was not good because they have chocolate on the inside kind of like moose or ganache, but it was overwhelming. It tasted like dark cocoa chocolate, and I thought the pastry was dark because the whole thing was chocolate, but it actually was burnt. A lot of the items looked burnt to be honest. I think the demand is getting to this place. The cardamom bun was just ok. The hazelnut bun was just an extension of the monkey bread to me. Not a fan. I remember growing up, we went to the local butcher and bakery to get fresh meat, bread, and pastries for cheap. I like the idea of a local bakery and butcher shop like this, but this place is not cheap. I'd skip this one.
