I work in the building where this new location opened, so i've been enjoying sampling from their menu. The pastries are great - definitely the highlight. The drinks however are just okay and the service is extremely slow. This has always been my experience, which isn't ideal when im trying grab a coffee before a meeting. I'd love to see improvements in speed - or maybe even the option to pre-order to help. It would make a big difference, especially for those stopping in during the workday

I was not impressed after trying White Windmill. I had high hopes based on how all of the pastries looked in the case, but they didn't taste as good as they looked, sadly. I tried a chocolate croissant, twist donut, and Americano coffee. The chocolate croissant was a bit soft and didn't have the flaky texture that you would hope for, and the chocolate inside was one very small bar that tasted exactly like Hershey's. (They have a mini Hershey's bar on top of the chocolate roll croissant, so it may have been Hershey's). The twist donut was severely over-fried. It was chewy like a pretzel, and it tasted strongly of fryer oil with a hint of sugar - no real flavor. The Americano was pretty weak, and I couldn't distinguish any notable flavors. Despite that great appearance, I would not come back.

What a great spot for baked goods and desserts! I was visiting some friends in Atlanta and we picked up a cake from one of their favorite shops, White Windmill! It was my first time trying it, but I really enjoyed it! They also said they make great stuff in general and have decent coffees, etc. The ambience looked really nice inside as well, I'll definitely have to go back and check it out more!

This new location of white windmill brings all the best things of Buford Highway to midtown. The space itself is gorgeous. It is full of light and they have designed the pastry case beautifully. It is so hard to choose what to get because all of their baked goods are so good. We ended up getting the red bean bun and it was light fluffy bread with a delicious sweet red bean paste on the inside. It was amazing as per usual. Their coffee bar is also set up with great design. They created an excellent brown sugar latte for me. Their espresso was delicious, and I can't wait to come back here to try more of their baked goods.

I circled the block before I found street parking about a block away from the coffee shop. Because it was a weekday morning, I wasn't surprised that the streets were busy and parking didn't end up costing too much. After a brief walk, I approached the building and first impressions were fantastic. Daydreamer is connected to an apartment building and the aesthetics are on point. Like, this place is gorgeous! There was way more seating than I expected, inside of the cafe, outside on the terrace, and inside of the attached leasing office. There were a number of tables, booths and even comfy couches to lounge on. Electrical outlets weren't plentiful, but I eventually snagged a booth that had a plug. Yay! There seemed to only be one menu at the front and it said 'please don't take', lol. So I stayed very close to the register as I read the menu, but I'm hoping they just ran out or my 4-eyed self missed the larger menu on display. I decided to go with the sugar graham hot latte w/ oatmilk and one of their pastries. The employee behind the counter was really patient and so kind to every customer, he was running that counter like the navy. 5-stars for him! I see why this place is such a hit among other Yelpers. I'll be back to enjoy the great coffee and good vibes!

She was so friendly and also gave great suggestions from their menu. She was the only person working because we came in the middle of the day. There were a decent amount of customers but the service was quick and efficient. I have to give her her flowers, she was the icing on top of a great experience. This has got to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing coffee shops I have ever seen. In addition to the gorgeous midcentury modern decor, there is a ton of seating available. I believe the coffee shop is attached to the apartment building, so the theme runs between both large seating areas. It was so cool! My matcha was delicious! I ended up going with the Morning Matcha (Lavender and White Chocolate, I added oat milk) and it did not disappoint! The prices were on par with other coffeehouses in the midtown ATL area. I did not have a chance to try the pastries but hopefully next time! Overall, this was a great experience! I look forward to visiting soon. Parking can be difficult in midtown so be mindful of that when visiting. Definitely a great place to study and get some work done if needed. Happy Eating!!

When I look for a coffee shop to newly get addicted to, environment is very important to me. So the concept of this place -- Store where there is quality coffee in the corner. It would be amazing to have the opposite -- an amazing coffee shop with quality things to buy. Until that happens, I'll appreciate this though. They focus on New Orleans/Louisiana style drinks for their signatures, but they have all the lattees and fancy macciatos available for the coffee snobs like me. I enjoyed their New Orleans style coffee and it was a good blend of spices yet not too strong. My cousin got a cappaccino which had pretty coffee art. This isn't the place to go if you're on a type of diet needing to alter ingredients to make it fit. Just throwing that out there. Their New Orleans style coffee comes pre-made. They have other options, but don't try to get their signature items. Note, they do have seating. Like one table and some bar stools, but that counts right? I don't believe it was near an outlet to do some work, but it wasn't too busy. I would ask a study group to meet me here, but it would be risky since there is not a lot of options if another group is already there.

This is a bakery with a super cool selection of international cakes and collectibles. Japanese cream cakesC croissants, sweet-filled buns, on & on. It looks like quite a few items sell out, so it can be hit or miss if you have a favorite. We got our boba teas, a tiramisu, strawberry cream cakes to satisfy the sweet tooth(s), but I was so excited to see a chicken korean BBQ sandwich that I had to get one! OH-EM-GEE!! I will be back to the sandwich alone!! It didn't take too long for the hot sandwich despite it being nearly closing time on a Saturday. The staff was helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. The diner itself isn't fancy, and the tables could use some consistent cleaning and clearing. You get plastic tableware and napkins on your own. But it was warm in a cold evening and had plenty of places to sit in the evening. I can imagine it gets pretty packed for lunch. Not sure.
