I had a great experience with the maids who came to my house. They did an excellent job. The big…read moreproblem was the administration. I told the gentleman I would be paying with a check and he still charged my acct. on a credit card he said they had to have on record. Then I called him on that and he promised to tear up check and mail back to me. When it didn't come, called again he said trust me. He tore it up. I cancelled check away $25 charge and guess what they tried to cash check. Now a year later I was sent to a collection agency. I showed all my documentation. Emails etc. and for over two months can't get a paid letter. It's too bad because the ladies were great!

My problem is not with the actual cleaning, but with the management. My apartment mates and I…read morebought a Groupon that was for a 3 hour cleaning of a two bedroom residence. I don't think I am alone when I say that when I purchase a cleaning service deal, I am expecting a full cleaning. That just makes sense. But that is not what I got with this deal because only ONE person was sent to clean an entire residence in 3 hours. That is not good business or good management. At. All. The woman cleaned very thoroughly, but because she is only one person, she was only able to finish the kitchen and living room in 3 hours. She ended up working overtime to vacuum the rest of the place, but was unable to clean the bathroom. Nobody wins in this situation because we are left with a partially cleaned residence despite paying for a cleaning service, and an employee is overworked because she was sent on a one-person job meant for an entire team. I am incredibly disappointed and there needs to be a change in the way this deal is advertised or in the deal itself. Send an entire team to clean a residence. Make it a full cleaning instead of a timed cleaning. Nothing about the Groupon makes sense and is terrible business.

Gabriella has been cleaning out home for over a year and it has changed my life!!! The first time…read moreshe came, she gave me multiple quotes depending on the frequency of visits and extent of service which allowed me to determine how to fit this necessary luxury into my budget. We worked it out so that at each visit, she does all the basics and rotates one extra task, like the oven or the fridge. A few years ago, I used a different service which I found on Yelp, but it was hard to get a regular day/time and what I thought was a single person was actually a crew. Since someone different came out each time, it was really hard to have any consistency and messages often got lost. Having a direct line to Gabriella has been great and means that we always have clear communication about expectations on both sides. Plus, it is important to me that I am supporting a woman-owned business in my local community (Richmond). My husband and I are both teachers, so we don't have a lot of extra money, but having Gabriella take such good care of our house has been a dream, especially now that it has become our office and gym and kids' school. On top of that, she has been careful to follow strict precautions during COVID. I know that her family means everything to her and I appreciate that she also wants my family to stay healthy. She comes on a day that we can all be away for a few hours, brings all her own equipment, and wears a mask the whole time she is in the house. Feel free to message me if you want more details, but I can promise you that you'll love coming home to a Gabriella-cleaned home as much as I do!!

Hired Chris a month ago to cut my grass twice a month. First time he did a terrible job. The…read moregrass was so short it made patches in half of the front lawn. Also, he left a large area of weeds and grass on the side of the house completely untouched. Said he would be back in a couple of weeks and will do everything next time. Came back from a three week vacation and the grass is really long. Called Chris and he told me that he would be by the next day. He never came. Sent him a text and he said he would take care of it on the weekend. Never came. Another text. I'll be there tomorrow. Never came. Texted him. Said something about family issues and he would be there tomorrow. Never came. Another text. Said he would be there when it cools down after six. At eight I asked if he was still coming. Never heard back. Today I'm looking at Yelp reviews for a new person. Saw a number that looked familiar and it is Chris. Run people of Yelp! Anyone have recommendations of a competent lawn service?? Edit : Chris, I only added the pics after reading your comment about how it was difficult to get ahold of me, when that was clearly not the case. You asked why did I wanted to hire you again after the first terrible job. Well, I believe everyone deserves a second chance and I gave you multiple chances to redeem yourself. Too bad you couldn't find the time to come by and do the job you "promised" to do. Lastly, my experience doesn't sound unique. Maybe you should read a couple of your other reviews. This seems like a common problem for you. People come to Yelp to see patterns of costumer service so they know what to expect. So, thank you for your comments. I'm sure nobody will have any doubt what to expect from you after reading your comments. Edit 2 : If anyone actually reads all of this, Chris deleted his last two comments. Now I am being accused of modifying the texts! All of this after he deleted his previous posts... So, I am adding another photo showing the Yelp emails proving how many times he has changed his reviews. Chris, if I modified the texts them please provide a pic of the original texts. Yeah, that will be impossible to do! Do you have any integrity at all? Too bad all of this will probably never be read and you will continue to scam people out of their money. $40 is not the issue, it's the principle of the matter. For your own sake, I seriously hope that you try to work on your professionalism. You are a grown man, time to start acting like one....

BE AWARE!!!! HAPPENED WITH ME! I asked for recommendations to install a sprinkler in my backyard in…read morea group on Facebook and a guy name Christopher Almendarez called me by message. I called him to come here to check it out the best way to do that and to check what he needs and how much will cost. He came and gave me the instructions about what he thinks was the best way to do that and he said my hose needs to be fixed and he gave me the price for all the service. Before i say to him I want to do the service I asked him if everything will be hidden because of my dog and because I don't want anything exposed and ugly. He said yes and said only the feeder tube will be exposed but everything else hidden. We did an appointment. He came and my son paid him because I was at work. First of all he did not gave us any receipt for the payment!!! Even after I asked him to do that because I need to show the landlord. And worse of that, when I came home and checked his service I saw that he did not fix the hose and everything is leaking now. (I asked him to come back to fix it and he said that is not his business. How?? How he will install a sprinkler without leave that working?!) And more of all this, he left everything ridiculously ugly and exposed and I think he did not put the right thing because the water is coming crazy! I tried to contact him and he said it's not his business and his service was done. Like I said, how someone come, check, say what he needs to INSTALL A SPRINKLER SYSTEM and after that say that if it's leaking is not his business????? Then, he said he will come to do "by his heart" but gave me a lot excuses and never came. Now, he blocked me and I cannot contact him anymore! I'm pregnant and very mad right now. It's just to aware everyone about this company and this guy because nobody deserves that! I have everything saved on my Facebook messenger!!! And have photos and etc. THE NAME OF HIS BUSINEES IS "lawns hedges and weeds". But he gave a quote with another name, address and etc. JUST SAW ON HIS FULL PROFILE. AND IT'S ANOTHER THING THAT DISAPPOINTED ME. Why he putted different name and address on my quote? That's scary!
