He should find work scrubbing toilets. I told him the version of windows I wanted him to put on my notebook and I wanted him to fix my recovery drive so that it would display properly.. He took 6 hours for a 2 hour job. When I got the notebook back the wrong version of windows was loaded and windows software and office software was in Spanish. I am American and I speak the language of the USA that is English. So I contacted him and he said to return tomorrow. So I returned in morning he took the notebook and he said to return in 5 and half hours... So returned and he was closed for lunch, I waited half hour and he returned and gave me my notebook back, He booted it and screen was in English, When I got home I booted my notebook and same problem but this time some screens still remained in Spanish and another in English, any user added would be reflected in Spanish. Plus the malware software was a free sample one and kept on asking for money. It was supposed be included with service. He never put the right version of windows software on, He gave me back the notebook still with incorrect windows version. I put my data restore disk in and all folders changed to shortcuts. after running my legal virus software (McAfee) the software alerted me that I had 2 Trojan viruses and a shortcut virus. When I brought the notebook in to be serviced, I am absolutely sure that the notebook had no viruses. These viruses came from his software that he put on my notebook. If you don't want messed up software and viruses on your computer, Then please stay far away from this place as possible. Otherwise if you go there computer will be damaged. lol

I purchased a fairly sophisticated alarm system from Mitchell over two years ago. I initially…read morereached out to him because I wanted more than the "2 doors and 1 motion detector" intro package offered by the national chains. Mitchell came to my home and we spent hours designing a system including not only all of the typical stuff such as door and window sensors and motion detectors, but also glass break monitors and water alarms for the laundry room and sump pump areas. Mitchell did not "sell" any of this stuff to me. I asked for it and we designed an excellent system together. The reason that I am writing the review today is because this is the first time that I have spoken to Mitchell in over two years. I received an alert on my control pad that a battery was low and I didn't know which device needed the new battery. I called Mitchell on his cell phone. He picked up on the second ring. I had the battery in a drawer and he identified the device and walked me through the battery change over the phone. This tells you a couple of things: 1. The equipment that Mitchell sold to me over 2 years ago works without issue. I literally have had not spoken to him in over 2 years because I have NEVER had a problem. My big problem today was that I needed a new battery. I'm OK with that. 2. Mitchell answers his phone. He is extremely responsive and knowledgeable. Mitchell is a good guy. He knows what he is doing and he sells good stuff. I recommend him without hesitation.

He suggested we troubleshoot over the phone before sending a technician to my house. Since the equipment is old, he had to send a technician after all. While I was waiting for the technician to arrive, I fiddled with the settings and ended up resolving the issue on my own. What really stood out to me was the honesty--both Mitchell and the technician could have easily said I needed new equipment or upgrade or unnecessary work, but instead they were supportive and completely upfront. Very fair, trustworthy, and refreshing to deal with a company that operates with integrity. Highly recommend for your security needs!

As a real estate agent, it's very often my job to recommend people to my clients. Bergen Protective Systems is a company I can count on to always do the right thing. Let me give you a current example: Seniors selling their home called the company that installed their wired in fire detectors They needed the system tested and certified. That's all they needed. I happened to get there when they were being taken advantage of; they were being told they needed to buy unnecessary extras. I told the guy to leave, then explained it all. My sellers were furious. I called Bergen Protective Systems because another wired in system needed to be certified. Although it meant that Bergen wasn't going to get a job, they advised me to call an electrician. This system is identical to that of the seniors above. That other company did work they should not have touched. How would I or any homeowner know? Bergen Protective Systems did the right thing. You can always count on Bergen. This is an ethical company that does a truly terrific job. Don't make a mistake by going elsewhere. All of the above happened within the past 5 days.
