The service was good but we got a Mediterranean melt (good), a spicy Thai chicken wrap (not spicy in the least, had no flavor and the chicken was dry), and "homemade seasoned fries" (we were told it would take 10-15 minutes, which it did so it arrived about 10 minutes after the rest of our food, which is totally fine if you're making fresh fries; however, when the fries came out they were cold and had no seasoning, not even salt -- they were similar in shape to McDonald's fries but way worse). If I were in school, this would be my go-to eat & study spot. As a vegetarian too, they have LOTS of meat-free (and I think, Vegan) options to choose from, just right off the menu. First time here came on a Saturday afternoon wasn't too busy. I order the kale Caesar salad with added avocado. I thought it was pretty average. The ingredients were fresh but the chicken was very dry so it was a good thing I got the pink lemonade/ginger drink. The salad didn't really wow me so I didn't think it was worth the price. The drink was homemade with real ingredients which I enjoyed. I liked the vibe on the inside. I've become a creature of habit when ordering due to my deep rooted love of the Wild Alaskan Salmon Bowl....total swoon Thank God for friend dates! We sat there enjoying our time and their space for multiple bourse. The peaceful energy absolutely kept us there longer than we anticipated. Everyone ordered something different and the sampling did not let me down. Now, I have ordered other things before I became a loyalist and they were all realllyyyy good...I just love that freakin salmon bowl lol. When getting a salad I often get the goat cheese and apple salad since I'm a fan of fruit on salad. They have a great selection of smoothies that are so fresh. When ordering you have the option to build your own bowl, salad, smoothies, etc. and it's echoed in their store set-up. This was my first time being in the physical space (and it certainly won't be my last). What a warm, calm, and inviting space to be found in the middle of downtown New Haven. It is located across the street from the Shubert, so there is easy garage parking and green parking. I love this place. The people are equally kind and helpful. This place is amazing! I was in town (New Haven, CT) and was in the mood to try on a new juice shop in the area that I've never been to before. I go to Google and randomly selected Bnatural Kitchen on college street. Now I've been to College Music Hall, Elm City Social and Insomnia Cookies which are all on the same street but I was always there at night time so I ALWAYS walked by this building. I was surprised to discover that this restaurant was here for a couple years. So I walk in and see people eating full meals here and my appetite suddenly had a change of heart and I decided to order some food with my smoothie. I ordered the mac & steak bowl which comes with brown rice, greens and a bnatural sauce. It was amazing but I'm interested to see how it would taste without the sauce so next time I'll exclude the sauce in my order. I also didn't forget my smoothie as I ordered the Green Protein which contains pineapple, kale, spinach, banana and almond milk. While the ambience feels a little bit cheap, and that the chairs are not very comfortable, it really doesn't matter. I appreciate that the establishment uses mostly organic and grass-fed ingredients, which is why we chose to dine there. They advertise air-fried fries as a healthier option; however, the fries had an unpleasant plastic-like odor. The service was exceptionally slow, taking 23 minutes to deliver two burgers and a burrito. It seemed as though our order was forgotten. The burgers were dry and overcooked, with buns that were stale, hard, and disproportionately large for the patties. The burrito, despite the long wait, arrived cold and bland. Given the location in a college town, the quality of the food met low expectations. I had higher hopes for this restaurant but ultimately left feeling dissatisfied and disappointed. My hopes that this review is taken seriously by the management and proper steps are taken to make their business more successful in the future, as I would love nothing more than for these type of restaurants to thrive read more

The food selection was wonderful including warm bowls, salads, smoothies, coffee and bakery items. I had the Chickadoo Bowl, which features doro wat flavored chicken in cubes of white meat. Doro Wat is an Ethiopian spicy chicken stew. One of the owners is from Ethiopia, I believe, so I figured I'd try this offering with an Ethiopian influence. It was very delicious. It was spicy and flavorful. If you've never had doro wat I would describe it as similar in taste to something you might eat at an Indian restaurant, but better because it's a little different. It also came with some cooked cabbage with turmeric flavor and roasted beets over some quinoa, brown rice and kale. There was also half a hard boiled egg, which I think is a typical feature of doro wat stew. All of it was very good. It was a hearty portion, but not too big so I did not over eat, for a very reasonable price. The interior is very clean and nice like a trendy coffee shop. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I noticed they also have coffee and tea as well as some wine and local beer offerings, so it is a good place to meet for coffee during the day or a glass of wine in the evening. B-Natural keeps it fresh and healthy by sourcing in-season ingredients locally. You are able to build your own bowl or you can pick one from the menu. They also offer salads, wraps, and breakfast too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My friend and I went during dinner time, it was quiet with only few patrons dining. My friend went with the build your own bowl which included sautéed kale, quinoa and brown rice mix, salmon, sweet potatoes, cucumber, mushrooms, onions, and added a vinaigrette dressing. It was delicious, savory with a little sweetness from the sweet potatoes. I went with the Wild Alaskan Bowl. The bowl included sautéed kale with quinoa and brown rice, parmesan, roasted sweet potatoes, roasted maple brussel sprouts, cabbage & carrots, mushrooms, grilled salmon, sesame seeds, bnatural sauce and a splash of lime cilantro dressing. My bowl was very good too. Also, mostly savory with a little sweetness. If you are looking for a fast casual, but healthy option check it out. Well, we'll never order from this sad excuse for an eatery. Ordered food for delivery. It was all fine with the exception of the chicken covering my wife's salad. She's a vegetarian, so in the garbage it goes. When I called to let them know they had made a mistake, I was told that I was wrong and Angel had made the salads just as ordered. This review is not about food but about the absolute rudeness of the individual I spoke with over the phone. I ordered a chai latte with oatmilk and what I received in my uber eats order was a regular latte with oat milk. I've been drinking chai since I was a child and is part of my culture. When I called to talk about this, the person I spoke with kept insisting that the issue I'm having is that I dont like the chai that he made. He spoke in an absolutely condescending tone, explaining to me that there are different types of chai and that he has a business to run. Even when I tried to say that perhaps my drink was switched with someone else's or the driver picked the wrong drink (to absolve him of responsibility even if he did make a mistake), he kept insisting that I did not know what chai was and he made the right drink. Please also note that I've ordered a chai latte 3x from this place and I've always received a chai latte although once a mistake was made with the milk (I ordered oatmilk and they used organic dairy). I don't care who you are but you are an incredibly rude individual and I want the world to know what to expect if a mistake is made with an order. What a shame because I actually like the food here. read more

Stopped by on a Tuesday morning. No other customers should have been my first clue. Took a few minutes for an employee to acknowledge me. Paper menu at the register was nasty and covered in food splatters. Should have just walked out. Ordered the "Smokey Bagel" aka bagel and lox. Disappointing. Was on a plain bagel, not everything as is traditional. I think the person making it has never seen one before. It was pretty flat, VERY little salmon, like 2 little shreds.
