Well after the last wrong order I was so upset, and expressed my frustration. The manager reached out to me the next day and remade my order and brought it to me personally. I ordered via Snackpass and was worried that it would have melted a bit by the time I was able to pick it up, but I was happy to find out that they keep the pick-up orders in a fridge to keep the bowls cold. It survived the 10 minute walk home, and was perfect for a hot summer day! It's pricey, especially if you add extra toppings (I really like the cacao nibs!), but the classic size is a pretty big portion and the fruit has been consistently fresh/high quality. Great smoothies. Not everyone is familiar with this part of downtown, which is a quieter area around the Yale Medical campus, but it's a very easy walk or bike ride from the rest of downtown. There are some small alleys in the area that I'd avoid at night, especially heading towards the train station or south away from the campus, but the main streets through campus are fine. read more

I've had açaí bowls from many different joints in Connecticut and this was probably one of the worst I've had so far. I ordered a classic açaí bowl and added peanut butter which came out to $11.43. Additional toppings are $1.40. This is about the standard price for açaí bowls, but for the same price, I've had SO much better and find this to be overpriced because of the quality. The strawberries were sour but also tasted syrupy? I ate through them first just to get it over with and drudgingly puckered my face with each bite. The bananas tasted artificially sweet, perhaps from overripeness (they were really soft/mushy) and honey. The granola just wasn't that great...I'm actually surprised that anyone buys the granola separately that they sell in individual containers. I have nothing to say on the blueberries because I actually didn't even taste them. Lastly, the açaí has no flavor. I'm glad I added peanut butter which helped mask the subpar taste of the rest of the bowl. Even then, I couldn't finish my bowl. It just was not good. There was way too much fruit/granola compared to açaí, so I essentially felt like I paid $11.43 for a bowl of fruit and granola. I normally love açaí bowls because it leaves me satisfyingly full while still feeling relatively healthy after. I even downloaded the app thinking I'd really like it and would come back often. Unfortunately, this place was not it. I ended up still hungry and disappointed. On the plus side, it's clean inside and the girl taking my order seemed nice. read more

I used their "loyalty card" which states if you spend over $10.00 ten times you get a "FREE" item. I always bought the super size bowl which is almost 17.00 dollars. So I spent ALOT of money at this place and looked forward to a free bowl. Needless to say.... it's only a free item under $10.00. No where on the loyalty card does it say that the FREE item must be under $10.00. So by putting "free" on there is just a complete lie. So I ended up having to pay a portion of my order even though it was supposed to be FREE!!!! Just poor customer service if you ask me.
