Salad tasted genuinely good & place is clean. The not so good: The wait time. I waited for about 15 mins in store before I got to order. Yes there were 4 people in front of me. But even they were waiting just as long. It's a bit chaotic. Different people working on different orders, them chopping the meat, mixing in the bowl before putting it in the to-go bowl. I'm not well versed in restaurant operations. But what I'd do is make the prep assembly line style. One person doing grains and veggies, one person adding sauces and mixing bowls, one person doing register, & one person doing drive through and mobile orders. I don't know how new this place is so they may be ironing out their flow but that does needs to be tightened. Also be mindful you are only allowed 4 free toppings& after that it's an add on.

Since it was my first time, I decided to create a build your own bowl and incorporate ingredients that I'm used to. The topper was their special sauces. I added shrimp, which were deveined, corn, fresh jalapeño, and a mix of rice and greens. For a surcharge you can also add avocado and kimchi, which I did. Everything blended together so well. The bowl was nice and satisfying. I definitely see myself returning throughout the summer, especially when I want a salad experience but a tad elevated. Parking is a bit tricky over there. But I went on a Thursday afternoon. The establishment was nice and clean. Bright and open. They had a few stool seats at a countertop. I believe they have Boba tea, but I'll try one the next time. There will most certainly be a next time!

This place is clearly a local favorite as the small parking lot was full, but we lucked out as someone was pulling out as we arrived. The service was top notch! We were greeted by a friendly young woman who seated us right away in a 2 person booth. The place is your classic stainless steel exterior and the inside was packed with happy patrons. The people in the booth next to us said they rarely dine out but they frequent Georgie's for their food. We were served by 3 different young women who were super friendly and professional. Before we got our food I was thinking I would come back for the service alone. Now the food. I ordered Georgie's omelette with home fries. 5/5. Excellent omelette and though the home fries were just potatoes they were cooked with some crunchy bits that simply elevated them. Laura got the eggs Benedict and she loved it. 5/5. We also ordered the buckwheat pancakes with blueberries and bananas. These were the best pancakes I've ever eaten 5/5! On top of it they serve organic food and locally sourced ingredients. The diversity of their staff was another added feature. This place is special!!! Laura and I agreed that it was the best meal we ate during our New Haven weekend.
