Oh well, another well service. Fortunate enough not having to pay a water bill? Then you must have a well system. Periodically if your water table under your residence goes out then that is the big drawback of not having a public supply. These things I heard to build I was told can range from $6k to $10 depending on build and other obvious factors. Meet B-E water well service and repair. I have been dealing with this company since I moved into my home in 1993. Since then I have had to utilize their services three times and the first thing I can say is they are prompt and reasonable. B - E used to be owned by a guy named Ed until he passed away maybe a decade ago but his wife has since taken over. This is not changed the venue of the company and in fact probably has gone on without a hiccup. My pump went out for the second time in twenty years and the last time I did not have the money to get another system installed. They still put a new pump in for me and told me to pay them before August (This was back in February) and everything would be ok. One cannot get this kind of service from a regular company. I think she/they understood the need for the children in the house to have the necessities of water. The cost both times to get this fixed was around $2,500. This was including raising the structured room that sat on top of the pump housing, lifting the pipe about 100 feet in the air, adding more pipe to match the level to where the water table is underground, replace pump, reinstall and rewire the pump and a few little miscellaneous I can not recall. My well started pumping some air, and the pump was 23 years old and I knew the wiring was bad. So I decided to have it all checked out. it ended up costing $4,871.98, after a $100.00 discount for some damage to the siding of the garage. It was a tight spot. I fell they mark up there parts way too much. $2,850.00 for a 1.5HP 20 gpm pump! They cost $569.00 online. My fault for assuming a company with a 4.8 star rating on google would not overcharge. They did the job OK, but disappointed I was overcharged. Get a price before your well is taken apart! read more

My husband takes great pride in fixing things around the home because as he puts it, "it will get done right". Most times the cost of doing it yourself eliminates the dent in your pocket especially for unforeseen home problems around the holidays. In order to give Zack and Amber from B-E Water Well Service all the credit they deserve, I have to start from the beginning. My husband and his best friend decided to research our well system, then got what they thought to be all the replacement parts to install a new system and a job my husband said would be completed in 4 hours. My husband thought our system was only 80-100 feet into the ground and they can easily lift the well seal with some human strength pull out the pipes and replace the pump in no time. It went wrong pretty quick because when my husband and his friend pull up the well seal the pump fell because the pipe was cracked and was hanging on by a centimeter of unbroken pipe. To make a long story short, my husband and his best friend took sometime to build some gadgets to fish the pump out but had no luck. So I went to my reliable source yelp to see what well services was out there and the ratings. I called B-E well services on a Saturday at almost 3pm and Zack said He would come out. What I didn't know is my husband had call around and the businesses he called was closed or would not come out until Monday. It turned out our system was 240 feet and there was no way this would be a job for my husband and his friend. Zack and Amber was professional, honest, knowledge, they educated us on the process, and most importantly they take pride in what they do and making sure their customers are pleased with their quality of work. We did not have to spend weeks without water or ask our neighbors for help, thanks to B-E Well services (Zack). Pump replacement is not a weekend home task, leave it to a professional like Zack. He came prepared and had every tool, equipment, and supplies needed for the job. We are grateful we had running water because it was freezing out and Zack did quality work in the cold and did I mention he started the job at 7pm at night. He will work with you on pricing, and gave us great discounts of over $1000, the job was costly but it was worth every penny because we have a new system, it has warranty and our system is working so much better! I have used B-E twice, once for bladder tank replacement in 2014 and once for well pump replacement 2016. I can confirm the history as noted by another reviewer. We worked directly with the owner, JoAnn, widow of 'Big Ed' (B-E). It is the epitome of a trust-worthy Mom and Pop shop. She has been in the business for 39 year and still works right alongside her crew. Her and her crew are very respectful, always answer the phone, work hard, knowledgeable, and, all things considered, relatively prompt. We lost water at 2am. Called B-E at 6:15am. They were at the property by 9am to inspect/troubleshoot. They cut/layed a 120 feet of temporary cable to prove my underground cable was bad, in addition to a bad pump. The suspect was a lightning ground strike. Because they were already committed to another customer that day, they were able to come back that evening at about 6pm with a full crew and rig. They removed the roof of the wellhouse, tripped 200' of pipe, replaced the cable and pump, replaced the roof, cleaned up the jobsite and were done by about 9pm (3 hours). They replaced the pressure contact switch, grundfos pump/motor, franklin motor starter. They elevated my pressure contact switch with a higher nipple at my request at not additional cost. $2500 + $400 for 200' of new submersible cable. read more
