I love Bcafe. It is my go-to sushi place when I want to get good, reasonably priced (cheap even) sushi. It's the type of restaurant where you order and pay at the counter and you can dine in or take out your food. They do bring your food to your table if you choose to dine in but you'd be the one to toss our your trash/bring back the plates, but it's not actual service like a regular restaurant where you'd get your water refilled and such, which is totally fine because this is supposed to be a casual quick bite. I have so many favorites/go-to orders here; some include the chirashi bowl (only $14 for a variety of fish on top of rice), their bento boxes are worth it (usually I'd go for the unagi deluxe bento which comes with unagi on top of rice with a side of sushi and shumai), and thai tea slush. Their combos are worth it as well; you get three sushi rolls and a drink for 18-21$, and you can switch out rolls if you prefer. I'm not sure whether or not they'd charge you differently, but these combos can be shared between two people so it's still pretty cheap. Rolls that I'd recommend would be the the fiesta maki, seared salmon maki, and the atlantic maki. Definitely try the crab rangoon and sweet potato fries. They also have a lot of vegetarian options as well; I have a friend who would always consider going here when he wants lunch. They're usually pretty busy at peak times (after school for the high schoolers near by and around dinner time), so I'd call first to order if you're taking the food out if you don't want to wait in there for too long. Usually street parking is easy to find, just drive around the intersection. Don't forget to use the 10% coupon from Yelp too! read more

I've only UberEats from here so I never ate inside but food is always good. I had the bento boxes, sushi, curry, poke bowls, etc. and every single time I thought everything was excellent. A bit expensive though so I usually only order from here like every other month but it's a gem for sure! read more

B Café is essentially a "fast" Asian bistro. They offer a variety of sushi rolls and hot dishes. That said - most folks- including myself frequent them for their quick and reliable sushi service. Notably they have awesome sushi specials for $20 - $25 for 3 rolls and boba. WHA? Yes! This is NOT Uni or Umami sushi but is delicious nonetheless! Their poke bowls are also worth noting in that they don't skimp on the fish and offer a great variety of ingredients, seaweed, crispy chips, avocado etc. For the uninitiated, poke bowls are bowls of fish, rice, and everything else that goes into sushi. Imagine a deconstructed sushi roll into a bowl - sushi for those that want to eat with a fork or spoon! All in all - clean, quick, and reliable service for sushi. B Café is a great way to spoil yourself when you've had a bad day and just need some sushi for the soul or if you're just craving sushi on a weeknight and can't be bothered to spend $$$ at a sit down in town. read more

We ordered the scallion pancakes, fried oysters, curry chicken bowl, two smoothies and several different sushi's. We wanted to try a variation to determine if it's worth the visit and it isn't worth it. The sushi is good but I've had much better and worse elsewhere, there isn't anything memorable about the sushi. The smoothies I can say is great, it's quite refreshing. The scallion pancakes are great better than a lot of places I've tried. The curry chicken bowl is trash, it's so gross. It took one bite and I was disgusted. I asked the individual at register to maybe switch it for something else and he said nope. Overall just not worth it for the food, ambiance, and price. read more

Got a banana colada boba tea, eel sushi, and a workout poke bowl with tuna. Total was $33.71. The banana colada bubble tea was amazing. Would honestly go back just for another. The eel was really fresh and tasty. The poke bowl was good but I'd probably try one of the other bowls next time. Overall great experience considering it was just a to go order. Would definitely recommend to anybody. read more

If B Cafe was in the city, I would be visiting at least 3x a week. B Cafe has a variety of inexpensive foods in a shop with a very clean and bright finish. I could see why B Cafe could be a big hit for high school students in the area as well as young professionals. I tried the sushi regular combination, the teppanyaki and avocado smoothie. The sushi combination was fresh - there weren't any problems with it that I would be hesitant about whenever visiting an Asian fusion place (i.e. too much rice, fishy fish). The teppanyaki was decent - chicken was great, but beef was just not or me - tasted almost like... lamb. But the teppanyaki was on the more oily side. Avocado smoothie - amazing. Had the texture of ice cream with the flavor of avocado. Whoop whoop! Will be back whenever I'm in Quincy! read more

My go to is the chirashi bowl which comes with assorted sashimi, eel, tempura crust and mango+crab meat wrapped in salmon. They have upgraded their menu to include pokebowls. They also have rice and noodle options that are not raw. The portions are also packed to the top and definitely worth the buck! You can get seated once you order and they will bring it to your table. You do need to throw it away yourself at the back where the utensils are after you're done. My favorite drink is the thai tea slush without boba. I've had boba here that tastes frozen, but the drink is great by itself. This is conveniently located with a short walk from North Quincy station with easy parking at all times. They do a lot of take out and I've had it to go as well. It's also really quiet and perfect to bring a friend along! read more

I was dining in, so I was a bit disappointed by the presentation of my regular bento box $11 by B Cafe. The sushi (California roll) arrived on a plate, while the rest of the box came in a styrofoam take-out container - a large load of rice in the biggest compartment topped with 6 thin slices of sauced eel, 2 pork dumplings, and the two types of short stubby rolls (vegetable, and shrimp). There wasn't enough sauce so I left half my rice behind and still had appetite left for a boba run afterwards. read more

This is my corner sushi spot, I come here at least once a week and it incredible! The sushi chefs are so nice and so quick and accommodate my specifications. I keep ordering this one roll in hopes they add it to their menu! I call it the local, look at picture for description. If you want to try just customize the seared salmon roll. Anyways some of my other favorites that are on the menu, are the beef teriyaki bowl, the mango madness roll, the seared salmon nigiri, the b cafe chicken tenders, oh and Omgsh don't forget the Honey Green Tea with boba! Okay I could go on forever about this place, this place is yummy affordable and consistent! I truly say all 5 star! Already know I'll be back next week...and week after lol! I grabbed cooked items for a quick take-out dinner. Since everyone seems to rave about this place, I didn't think anyone could go wrong ordering staples such as scallion pancakes, spring rolls, teppanyaki chicken and a beef & onion rice bowl. Ugh, what a mistake since I think this establishment is probably known best for sushi and that's what people should stick with. The only thing that was palatable were the scallion pancakes. However, the dipping sauce was horrible and way too acidic. The teppanyaki chicken is simply the chicken teriyaki you can get at any food court. The beef in the beet & onion rice bowl was so fatty (if that's your thing, you would love it), I had to rip it off and was left with a pile of fat and gristle. read more

It's been a while since I been here. They food was decent. It wasn't the worse or the best. I for the spicy salmon bowl, crab dumplings and smoothie. The poke bowl was fresh, but they gave way to much rice. Never had a poke bowl before with that much rice. The crab dumplings were okay and definitely not worth what I paid. Tasted like any other frozen dumplings. The smoothie definitely was good like always. Overall, it wasn't to bad. A bit pricey for some items, but still worth a shot. read more

B cafe is my go to spot. I probably grab something from here at least once a month. Literally everything here is great and you can't go wrong. B cafe hands down has the best mango smoothies in the greater Boston area. Highly recommend it with their boba. Their boba has a great flavor to it and for the most part it also has a good consistency although once in awhile it could be hit or miss with its firmness. Their sushi is really well priced and a great value for what you get. They offer sushi combos that contain 3 rolls and boba for roughly $20. Insane! I love the maki rolls here, they're well rolled and there's a good balance of rice to each of the ingredients in the sushi. They're not heavy handed with the sauce either which I appreciate. Their boba and their sushi are probably what they're most known for, but aside from those items I really like their teriyaki salmon bowl and their spicy avocado salad. The teriyaki salmon is well cooked with the right level of sweetness and tangy-ness from the teriyaki. To echo another yelp reviewer, their avocado salad is the best in the area. They don't skimp on the fish roe or the crabsticks. Honestly I can't recommend B cafe enough and everyone I've taken here has loved it. Hope it continues to stay in the area for years to come so that I can get my boba and Japanese food fix! read more

Went there one night for a quick dinner. I got the chicken teriyaki noodles and some crab rangoons. The food was okay, I've definitely had better. The noodles were watery and sauce pretty bland. I was waiting to order near the cash register and no one looked up from their phones to ask what I wanted. There were at least 3 people by the cash register, no one paying attention even though they all saw I walked in. Overall, average food with below average service. read more

I absolutely love this place. I order from here at least once a week sometimes more. Lately, I can't help but be disappointed. The serving sizes have gone way down and the price has increased. I always get a poke bowl and used to love how packed full of rice and toppings it used to be. I mean smushed against the top of the container packed. Now, it seems every time I order there is less and less in the container. There is a noticeable gap between the lid and food and significantly less rice and toppings. Very disappointing. read more

Super safe and super delicious food! I believe it's still to-go orders only. You place the order and when you arrive, they will bring your order out to you in the front. Definitely a nice place for quick sushi, without having to settle for supermarket sushi. Pretty much all the rolls and sushi are pretty good. I mean, they're not mindblowing, but they're decent. The spicy salmon and tuna rolls have some good heat and fresh fish. I've also had the gyu don, which is a beef and onion rice bowl. It's not bad, and pretty flavorful. The satay stir fried beef noodles is okay, but a little too oily. I like the satay flavor a lot (as I usually do in general). The seating seems kinda uncomfy, so I just do take out. The service is fine and nothing to complain about. read more

I have been to this place 4 times and have tried to get something different each time I've gone. My overall verdict is that their sushi is bangin'! Sushi is made fresh to order and you can even watch the process of it being made while you wait. They currently have deals where you can order a larger amount of sushi along with a Boba drink of your choice. I think the total ends up being between $20 and $24 depending on what type of sushi rolls you get. I'd definitely recommend doing one of those pairings. It is a good amount of sushi for one person and their Boba drinks aren't too bad. I've also had their curry chicken rice bowl, curry style egg noodles with chicken and egg, and spicy poke bowl. If sushi isn't your thing I'd recommend the curry chicken rice bowl. It is a decent price and I think the curry is fairly good based on what you are paying, but again, I'd highly recommend the sushi. read more

Came here for the first time and tried the following. Spicy poke bowl - It wasn't spicy at all. It was my first "poke bowl" experience and to be honest I thought I was just eating mushed spicy tuna sushi rolls.....I haven't had legit poke bowl so I have no point of reference to compare this to.....I thought it tasted okay. Sakedon - sashimi quality was impressive...I mean you can clearly tell they use farm raised salmon instead of wild salmon but thats pretty common across all sushi restaurants so I can't blame them for that...this dish also tasted average in my opinion. Crab rangoons - These were surprisingly delicious. I highly recommend you give them a try. Overall, my experience was in the average range. I may visit again and try other dishes on the menu and revisit this review when I do so. read more

I really like how Bcafe has handled their operations during Covid19. You either call ahead or order ahead and pick up your food at their front steps. You CANNOT order in person so don't waste everyone's time.. I usually get the chirashi don or sake don. They are quite filling and priced really well. Today I wanted to get a caterpillar roll and I was really disappointed... it was 6 pieces for 10 bucks, usually when you get a "special roll" its more substantial... i wish I took a picture to show you how sad looking it was. If it weren't for the sake don, I wouldve given this place 2 stars... read more

Good place for affordable Japanese food on the go or for lunch. Bubble milk tea is not that great. Love that they are dog friendly !

I've heard a lot of hype about this place, and I could see why so many people like it. They have a lot of decently priced offerings, but being a lover of salmon sashimi, I went for the sakedon ($13.75). It comes with 9 pieces of thickly cut salmon sashimi, as well as 3 pieces of thinly cut sashimi wrapped around mango, cucumber, and crab. The bowl also includes tempura flakes, spicy mayo, wasabi, and ginger inside the bowl. The rice was warm, which threw me off a little and it made the fish warm as well. The rice also could've been seasoned better - it tasted more like regular rice than sushi rice. However, the fish was pretty good quality, especially for the price. This is a fast casual place with only a few tables to sit at, and it can get pretty busy around mealtimes. Probably not the best place for large groups, but it's a good place to go if you're just with a couple of friends. If you're dining in, order at the counter, find a seat, and they'll bring the food to you. Recommend if you're looking for cheap sushi! read more

The wifi is just "sushi" lol, I thought it was combined and put sushiwifi like the drawing they had. -__- The place is cute, right across the street from Yocha and a walking distance to Vivi. If I'm not getting desserts or bubble tea at Yocha or getting popcorn chicken at Vivi, I come here for sushi. Tried the chirashi bowl, watch out for that chunk of wasabi! Even when I removed the chunk, it still got me. Next time I'll ask without it. It cleared my nose though and woke me up. Wheeewwee. Lol, and probably spicy mayo on the side. :) I couldn't even finish the bowl! I ate a quarter of it and got super full. (And I didn't eat all day) . I saved the rest, I just hope it stays good when I get hungry again. The bathroom was a mess. Eekk. Enjoy! read more

B Cafe is an inexpensive, quick service corner spot for Japanese focused cuisines. The interior has a lot going on, it's a mixture of an internet cafe, modern style designs with kiddish colorful furnitures, probably catering to the younger crowd. They offer a la carte sushi, bento combos, rice bowls, wraps, teppanyaki, soup noodles, small appetizers, smoothie drinks and finding street parking hasn't been a problem for us around here. Chirashi- For $13.75, you get 3 slices of salmon, 3 tuna, 3 pieces of cooked shrimps, 2 cuts of eels, 1 small piece of crab stick, and tobiko over a bowl of rice which is a deal but the cuts of fishes were not as fresh as I hoped it would be. I guess you get what you pay for. Overall Service: A stifling environment. It's really just a spot I would grab food and go. read more

Hands down one of my top 5 favorite restaurants in Boston. I used to live near this place and I miss it everyday. When I come here I get one of 3 things: 1) The lunch special Salmon Bento Deluxe which comes with 3 pieces of salmon teriyaki, 2 egg rolls, 2 fried shumai, rice AND 3 pieces of spicy salmon roll and 3 California rolls with a side of ponzu sauce. This is my ultimate go to and is a steal for only $13 bucks before tax. You can sub the protein, but salmon is my favorite. Beef is good too. 2) Sake don. SAKE DON! You get 8, I repeat, 8 fat pieces of salmon sashimi PLUS 3 pieces of cucumber + mango wrapped in salmon sashimi for a total of 11 pieces of salmon. All of this, on top of rice with a side of tempura bits drenched in spicy mayo and a side of ikura. This is my go to for dinner, since the Bento Deluxe is only during lunch. 3) I tried the ramen/udon here and it's not that good. Wouldn't get. Not only is the food amazing for the price point but their boba is SO GOOD. I usually either get the avocado shake with boba (sososo good) or their lychee watermelon with boba (genius). Honestly, you can't go wrong ordering anything here. I travel all the way from Boston to Quincy just to eat here. Totally worth the trek! read more

B Cafe is a convenient, tasty and cheap spot to satisfy your cravings whether it is fried appetizers, sushi, noodles or smoothies. Order at the counter and stay for a quick bite to eat or order to-go. - Crab rangoons ($3.95): This is a small order and for 6 pieces, a great price point! Came out piping hot and freshly fried. - Chirashi ($13.95): One of the pricier things on the menu but in my opinion, totally worth it! Says it comes with about 3 pieces of salmon, tuna, shrimp, eel on top of a bed of rice, but I definitely got more than 3 pieces for some things! A lot more food than I thought, and definitely very filling. - Mango smoothie ($4.95): Very refreshing and fresh tasting! You can tell real fruit was used in it and it isn't overly sweet. Boba was kinda hard but I think that happens when you have boba in colder drinks. Would get without boba next time! Overall, good quality food for it's price. Service is quick and place is clean. PROS: - Very clean space - The sushi smelled really good and looked fresh. I might just come back when I'm in the area next time and in a rush for food but I might have to think twice before getting a drink here CONS: - It was a really rainy and gloomy day that day so I was craving a warm drink but didn't want coffee since my caffeine intake was so high already. I decided to come in here for a HK Milk Tea and I was very disappointed. It tasted very watered down. The tea taste was barely there and completely overwhelmed by the sugar. I've had real HK milk tea back in HK so I know when it's good and I've had on par milk tea in Chinatown, NY so I knew better than to have super high standards since I know we're not in Asia but this was so underwhelming that I couldn't help but be disappointed. read more
