I walked by this small sandwich place one afternoon and noticed a line of hungry locals. A table outside was already filled and the sandwiches they were having looked good but what caught my attention were the bags of french fries - they looked perfectly fried, stiff and crispy! I told myself I should check this eatery out when I don't feel like cooking, and I was glad I did! Just as I had suspected, the fries were out of this world! You always get fries at most sandwich places in Paris and they are usually limp and greasy by the time they bring the food to you, but these fries remained crispy and to die-for! The sandwich and meat was OK, viz, the 4 stars. Sam, the young enthusiastic and friendly owner who by-the-way does speak English kept touting the choices of homemade sauces which goes on the sandwich but knowing he is of Greek descent (I may be wrong), his sandwiches would be excellent with a homemade signature tzatziki! I hope he caught on to this and keeps serving those perfectly fried french fries! Easily a 2-bagger per order of sandwich! Yum! I hope he is still there when I return next year! read more
