B & S GULF SVC STA - Tires Near Me - Freehold, New Jersey

B&S have been serving my family for years, and I have visited them enough to know they are an outstanding auto servicing shop. They made my Lexus sound better than factory and restored it to top condition with my new radiator and hoses. They are fair with their prices and work on time to have my cars ready. I happily drive 30 minutes to here to get my service done than anywhere else. Thank you Mike and thank you B&S read more

Had oil changed last week. They had a special for $39.95. Thought it was a great deal since I usually pay $65 plus tax at most service centers. Imagine my surprise when they handed me a bill for over $85. When I questioned it, I was told that my Kia uses a special oil filter and costs $25. Also an extra quart of oil for another $10. And additional $5.00 to dispose of the oil. I can understand the extra charges. What I can't understand is why it wasn't disclosed to me when I made the appointment or even when I arrived for the service. In fact, it wasn't even brought to my attention when I paid. I just happened to look at the bill on my way out the door. I'm usually very happy with the service here. And I've given good reviews in the past. However, this seemed to me like a classic case of "bait and switch". I went there expecting to save about $25 on an oil change. I left there paying $10 more than I usually pay. I guess I'm angry at myself for just accepting the answer I received when I questioned the bill. Additionally, I'm disappointed that this service center that I've dealt with on and off over the past would do such a thing. I'm committed to not going back there for service again. I'll feel as though I can't trust them. read more

This place is top notch! High quality customer service. Always honest and transparent about things. You can see the same people coming back over time because of the consistency. They schedule appointments and keep in mind people's time. Not going to wait all day here like you would at most dealerships. I drive a 2021 Audi Q7 which has a lot of technology capabilities and advanced engineering. I trust them with it. My go to place. read more

I brought my car here for new tires! This was probably one of the best experiences I have had. I had made an appointment and got there on time, they took my car in right away. They have IPad's with movies/Netflix while you wait. The staff was friendly and courteous. They recommended the right tires, didn't up-sell me and gave me a great deal! Will be certainly coming here again for any future needs! read more

We were having a problem with our Toyota hylander 2010 leaking radiator and smoke was coming out it was so scary few weeks now and we were searching for a good place to have it fixed. My husband ask around us in our area but the reviews were not acceptable. We were using taxis, Uber and car renting So an email advertisement from B&S was read by my husband regarding oil change so he called B&S and ask about the radiator. We got it done same day. We trust B&S we usually come to buy tires and get it aligned and balanced. We prefer to come here because of the pride and integrity they hold with their customers. We always have a pleasant experience. Mike explains everything and he is not pushy. We are on a budget and he understands. Thanks again, Eleanor and Carl Cabalbag read more

Please save yourself the headache of dealing with this shop. They did a lot of work to the car and I drove it 5 minutes home. After starting the car, I had three warning lights I've never seen before and asked them to look. After getting gouged for a part I didn't even need, going in 5 times and scheduling 6 appointments, they still had no idea what the problem was with the car. After this, I brought it to the Toyota dealership and they diagnosed and fixed the problem in an hour and a half, no problems. Please avoid the headache of getting B&S'ed about how good of a shop they are from management while needing to schedule 7 appointments to get a simple problem fixed. Update: After reading an extremely rude reply from the owner, I think I should clarify. The problem was a nicked line which Samir told me they could have done on my first time back(they also changed 2 belts and sparkplugs, it wasn't just brakes and tires). I was not able to have my car looked at after leaving work early and driving down for 3 different appointments due to shop reasons. I had to go in for 2 diagnostics and they only worked on it 1 day and was cancelled on for the last appointment. Borrowing a car multiple times and calling 5 Ubers to make no progress on fixing a car is expensive and time consuming. I'm not doing this to be spiteful, but to save other people the time I wasted dealing with B&S. read more

It is so nice inside this place that you will not mind waiting. Plus they have free WiFi, snacks and iPads with Netflix! Even more important is that they do great work for a great price. I was shocked at how little they charged for a full synthetic oil change that I asked to make sure they did synthetic not regular. They told me that they got a great deal on synthetic oil and they passed the savings along to their customers. How rare is that?!?! Great place! read more

It's hard to believe that I have been coming here for close to two decades. Even though I moved out of the area I still come here to get my oil changed. They are the friendliest, most knowledgeable and honest people to deal with and their prices are fair. They never up sell. As a woman I never felt taken advantage of because I lack knowledge when it comes to how cars operate. The waiting area compares to an high end car dealership. It's clean, modern and spacious with phone charging ports and tablets to use while you wait! You will not regret your visit here. read more

Wow! A review for B&S! Let me start by saying that I own all sorts of personal cars (Classic, New just out of dealer, foreign and domestic and Jeep Wranglers) as we are a large family. Safety and maintaining the cars is what B&S do extremely well! They are fair and I find more knowledgeable and honest then going to dealers and commercial types like sears, pepboys, firestone, etc.. I believe in supporting your local family business, B&S makes it so easy and comfortable. You will get personal care here and they take their time to explain everything in a way you can understand. You will never feel rushed their prices are fair! If there is any discount available in the parts or service they will let you know. Lets all keep supporting them and thank them for the commitment to our community! read more

READ ALL. PRO: These guys have been doing this for a long time. They know how to service your car and will do a great job. CON: They do not include labor charges when you ask for an estimate. I was having an overall terrible day and completely snapped on James behind the counter. It was nothing he did, the flat tire was just a heavy straw.. Him and the guys that work there were great and went way out of their way to help me out and get me back on the road. If I was a local this would be my go to spot. read more

My boyfriend took my Land Rover out one day to go to work and it overheated so he took it to this shop which was close to his job. They said I need a new water pump and radiator and coolant hose, it hurt to hear that but I had no problem paying for something if that's what it really needed and also asked them to do an oil change. I went back 2 days later to pick it up, and dropped off my other car to get new tires. The following day the Land Rover started over heating again and I also noticed the car was very low on engine oil. I called mike and told him what was going on he told me to top off the fluids and bring it back to him when I went to pick up my other car. Upon arrival, Mike told Kevin (the guy that worked on my car) to check for leaks and to check the oil in the car... I followed Kevin outside and het opens the hood of my car, doesn't remove the engine cover, and says oh it's not leaking (you can't see the bottom of the car without first removing the engine cover) Then he goes on to look for the dipstick which was frustrating because he just worked on my car, he should know it doesn't have one. Then goes over to mike and says how am I supposed to check the oil it doesn't have a dipstick. My father goes on to show Mike how to check the oil levels on the dashboard and this guy says oh no that's just the service line and goes on to GOOGLE HOW TO CHECK THE OIL IN THE CAR ONLY TO FIND OUT MY DAD WAS RIGHT. Long story short I took it to Land Rover and they said I never needed a new radiator or water pump and that I paid $3000 for nothing! All I needed to do was replace the coolant pipe on the intake manifold, the intake manifold gasket, and the coolant pipe to the radiator. Spoke to Mike and asked for a refund, his response was "well I wasn't the one who bought a car off of Craigslist". I have 1 year warranty on the work they did and I can't even trust them enough to rectify the situation. I want a refund. read more

B&S came recommended from a family member and I couldn't be more pleased. Every person I interacted with there was unbelievably nice and, it turns out, honest, too. The manager at the front desk over there is very dishonest, I don't care what the other reviews say. I have a clogged catalytic converter, I went there and asked him if he could tell me which converter needed to be replaced, AndI knew there were codes on my cars computer,I bought an obd2 and found that out for myself, which I mentioned. I erased the codes, and was driving the car around so they can reset, hoping I could pass my inspection,he said he would be able to tell me which converter needed to be replaced. his mechanic plug in the obd2 machine It took 5min he wanted to charge me $119.00 for a car diagnosis , I told him I already had that done, I just needed to know what catalytic converter on my car was bad, then said I needed a oxygen sensor and a few other things, and said he couldn't let me know what converter was bad until I had him fix the other work at his shop first..I said I have my own mechanic to do the work I just needed to know what converter was bad. Then he wanted me to pay him $119.00 I refused to be ripped off, and then he said give him $60.00 I said no!!! for 5min work I didn't need done!! He called the cops and gave his bull story, the cops knew him, so I had to pay. I had to pay $ 60.00 for 5min work which I already done myself. read more
