This is just a warning for anyone considering Quality Roofing. We met with Franklin and his team…read moreand thought they were solid. They were not our cheapest bid but not the most expensive either. We chose TPO. Our contract specified the work as welded TPO. They started work, tore off the old roof. I called to warn them that the weather report was for heavy showers. They told me they were prepared. But they were not. It was a huge downpour right into our home. In comes the flood squad, insurance adjusters and everything else. After a six figure claim, Quality finished the roof and helped with all the drywall and damage work. A few months after they leave, the rain comes and so do the leaks. Small at first and then some larger ones. We thought Quality had gone out of business, so we contacted another roofer. They pointed out the seams were not welded. They were taped over with adhesive. And the roof would continue to leak no matter what we did. The work was not up to GAF standards. Since then we have been patching and running for buckets. We have resigned ourselves to the fact that this brand new TPO will need to be ripped off and replaced. Even the work they did to put another layer of bitumen on the upper roof leaks. Every roofer who has seen the work is astonished by how bad it is. I don't know who is writing the positive reviews here and in Google. I suggest you dig a bit deeper. There are also a lot of 1 star reviews that match our experience. So. Beware.

Working with Denny, Dennis and their work crews was an absolute pleasure. We unfortunately had to stay in our home the entire process, yet the guys were as considerate to our situation as much as was possible. What was most impressive was this company's ability to keep to a schedule, keep their promises and work professionally. You get what you pay for! I had several quotes for less money than Shells Only. They wouldn't return a call, didn't know how to work with the Permits, and generally were unorganized. From the very start, Dennis daughter (forgot her name) work so nicely with my wife picking out hardware for the bathroom, colors and etc. Afterall, if the Mrs. isn't happy ultimately, I won't be happy! The details matter. Shells only paid attention to the details that I requested of them and added some smart recommendations. Even more important to me was finishing the project. My worry was payments were mostly in start of job, will they disappear in the end? Answer, no they finished this job as agreed on time!!! I was lucky to get Denny who as i was told doesn't forman much anymore as he is too valuable to the sales process. So, I got lucky there! My rating is AAA++++++ Would recommend to family or friends for sure.

One of my banister railings just broke, and even though Denny did the work two full years ago, he immediately sent someone over to fix it without hesitation. This is not a contractor who takes your money and runs.

Every contractor who came before seemed to patch a different area, but the problems always came back eventually. Goldenberg Roofing BK broke the cycle. After inspecting the roof, they showed us several areas where water had been ponding for a long time and explained how the existing drainage layout was contributing to the deterioration. The project involved a full tear-off, new flat roofing system, updated flashing, and improvements around the drains. The crew worked efficiently, kept the roof organized throughout the project, and provided updates along the way. We've been through several major storms since completion and the roof has performed exactly as hoped.

I never needed a new roof...merely new flashing on my skylights. My daughter's ceiling has been repaired and painted twice before these photos were taken just today. Notice the sloppy tar work on the skylights. He stood me up on December 21st, 2017 to 'scrape off' the visible tar. Never showed and offered $1500 back to use someone else. It's all memorialized in text massages. I've yet to receive any restitution. His work and his word are worthless. Since posting this review this morning, I have gotten threatening text messages from Eden Goldenberg with respect to my livelihood. Beware of this businessman. In response to Eden Goldenberg's message below...the house was built in 2003. I don't consider that to be 'very old.' Update...Filed small claims court suit in April 2018. Eden Goldenberg never showed. I was awarded the total amount by the judge (4K+ court costs). If more dissatisfied customers go up against this dubious character, he will be forced to stand by his work! 11-1-18 The new photos were taken yesterday of a different skylight than the ones previously posted. If you need roofing, please be certain that Eden Goldenberg does not run the company that you're hiring. He very well may have changed the corporate name by now.
