But after meeting the team at A to Z Renovations, I finally felt confident I was in good hands. They were on point, punctual, and extremely detail-oriented throughout the entire project. Every step was handled with care and clear communication. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and I felt completely comfortable from start to finish. I honestly feel blessed to have found them. Trust is everything when you're doing a renovation, and A to Z truly delivered on every level. I highly, highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future.

But the job they did deserves recognition. Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. To summarize: The team at ATOZ was thoroughly professional and kept us informed with clear, consistent communication every step of the way. Importantly, the team worked efficiently to stay on schedule and were fair when an unexpected issues arose, providing clear solutions. The final result is exceptional, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend ATOZ to anyone.

I hired them back…read morein March, with a promise to start and complete the entire bathroom by the end of April 2022. They did not "finish" their work until the end of June 2022- a full TWO MONTHS later. Additionally they made a HUGE MISTAKE on the installation of my toilet and never offered to fix it. Let me explain from the very beginning.... At first, Singh and his brother were very nice. Everything was "no problem, no problem." They communicated clearly, sent texts back and forth to discuss material choices, and started their work in early April like they said. As time went on, they started to show up less and less. Singh started to ignore my messages and phone calls, and was very hard to get in touch with. The NUMBER ONE job of a contractor is to take measurements and make sure everything is done to a high standard. As a customer, you hire them to do the work you don't understand or can't do yourself. So, imagine my surprise when I got my first look at my new bathroom and the toilet was THE WRONG SIZE. They NEVER MEASURED the rough-in before installing the toilet. My bathroom has a 14 inch rough-in. But instead, they ordered a 12 inch rough-in toilet, brought it to my apartment, and STILL INSTALLED IT. The toilet has a huge gap behind the tank and the wall. After seeing it, I explained my frustration. As a contractor, you are supposed to take measurements and install the correct equipment. Not only did they not measure, they brought the wrong toilet, most likely noticed it was the wrong rough-in size, and STILL INSTALLED IT. Who does that? Then they told me they would not replace the toilet or order the correct one. I was SO ANGRY. I spent over $10,000 dollars on this bathroom, and now he put me in a position to have to buy another toilet, and hire someone ELSE to fix his mistake. They also ignored my phone calls and texts for over a week. I eventually had to have my husband call. I thought maybe they would respond quicker to a man. They called back right away. (hmmmm......) Additionally, the person who installed my shower doors made a big measurement mistake and drilled holes into my new tiles in the wrong place. They are "patched," but those kind of mistakes are unacceptable. He also ordered the wrong shower doors at first, even though I clearly send him the correct ones. So many delays after delays. They will claim there were supply issues, but never once were my materials "out of stock," "backordered," or "delayed." They just say that to buy time. So, beware. I believe they will tell you everything is perfect up front, but then they take on too many projects and spread themselves too thin. The work is not done on time, and is very careless. They also left my apartment very dirty, and didn't remove all their debris. I had to take out my old medicine cabinet myself and spent 3 days cleaning up their dust. Overall, the biggest complaint is the toilet and the time frame. If they would have replaced it and admitted they made a mistake, I would have been much happier. And if they would have completed their work on time- or within reason- I would have been happier. I do like the medicine cabinet and vanity area. That part was done well. Just beware. That's all.

Everything he and his workers did was wrong. Nothing was level, not even the closet rods to hang my clothing on. They glued wood on my walls bc they were too lazy to look for the studs. They drove nails through the closet door frame, which then prevented the sliding doors from sliding. They broke the molding around my door frame and tried to conceal it with caulk. They left wires exposed in my ceiling. They screwed my closet door frame into the beams, which basically means that if I ever want to change my closet doors in the future, I'd have to have someone repair the frame. They had to cut the closet door bc they didn't frame out the opening to the right measurements. They even broke the mirror on one of my closet doors. All the shelves they built in my closet were the wrong sizes and not even close to being level. Everything they did was bad. Everything about him and his company was unprofessional. He even had the nerve to ask me to bring one of his workers to Home Depot to pick up more plaster bc they ran out. I was a paying customer who hired him to do a job and I'm supposed to put a strange man in my car and chauffeur him to the store? Are you serious? Oh yeah, one more thing, he is NOT licensed or bonded. I asked him repeatedly for a copy of his license and he kept "forgetting" it. I fired him halfway through the job. I made a big mistake hiring a contractor I found on the Internet. I read the fake reviews and thought they were for real. I learned a valuable lesson from this experience. I will only hire contractors that come highly recommended by people I trust. Buyer, BEWARE!!! Let me tell you something, anyone can have business cards made up, anyone can create a website, and anyone can buy a commercial van and slap a name on it. It means NOTHING! This man tried to take advantage of me bc I'm a single woman, but what he didn't bank on was the fact that I have brothers who came over and checked his work and found all his mistakes. You had to see his face when my brother started questioning his work. He turned white as a ghost and tried to defend his work. I can go on and on but I think you get the gist. There are definitely more things I could add to the list, like the fact that they didn't even bother to remove the blue tape (from painting) from the walls before putting up the wooden shelves in my closet. When I ripped out the wood from my closet walls, there was blue tape everywhere. Or how about him lying about the material he buys to get more money from you. He told me he bought 6 boards of ply wood when he only bought 5. So shady!!! Well, this where I'll stop or else this list, I fear, will go on forever. Besides, I have to go now so I can find a REAL contractor to fix everything BLUEPRINT messed up.

They were unresponsive to texts and phone calls throughout the process. Different guys showed up to do the work and there was extreme difficulties communicating with them. They started doing work which was not what we had discussed initially, and damaged other areas of our home in the process. It took hours to get the boss on the phone and he was then unable to do the work in the time frame, leaving us with an unsafe demolition site and literally no steps to access our home. They damaged our home and our business and left us with a pile of rubble.

The positive aspect of our experience was that the team worked quickly and efficiently; the project was completed within a few days. However, the negative is that SkyVision ultimately did not give us the curb cut that we paid for. During the construction process we expressed our desires and concerns to Paul many times; but Paul kept assuring us that it would turn out well. The entire sidewalk was repaired and where the curb cut was supposed to be there was an extremely slight slope downward which ended with two inch raised edge from the street. In short, SkyVision only repaired our sidewalk. The "curb cut" looked so much like a sidewalk that nobody respected it as a driveway. We expressed our frustration and concerns to Paul, and he said that he would fix it. A few days later he sent two of his workers over to shave the cement. The final result was a slightly slanted edge to the sidewalk. They painted the edge yellow and put up a no parking sign on our front porch. By comparison to the first version, it looked better, but it was by no means a curb cut. We reached out to Paul again, but our mistake as new homeowners was that we followed his payment schedule. By that point he had all of his money, and he stopped communicating. Parking is a real commodity in our neighborhood. Ultimately, the situation became contentious and the "curb cut" was difficult to enforce without experiencing constant conflict. In the end we paid SkyVision $6000 to create a curb cut and they did not deliver on their promises.
