When I needed an oil change and what I thought were new front brakes and rotors, I brought my car to B&B Tire. During the service, I was informed that my front brakes and rotors were fine. It was the back brakes and rotors that needed to be replaced along with the calipers. My rear brakes and rotors were replaced in July 2023 by Greenwood Food, so you can imagine my shock when they need to be replaced with less than a year on them. So, when I had the money two weeks later, I scheduled an appointment for the rear brakes. Unfortunately, when I made the appointment my brakes couldn't hold on for another week, so I called Curt and asked him if he had a cancellation to call me. Well, he said to call on Thursday afternoon. When I called back on Thursday, he said he'd be able to get me in on Friday - a week early! Although they had my car all day on Friday and part of Saturday morning, they fixed my brakes! I am grateful they were able to fix my car a week early than my original scheduled date and they'll be the ones I call when I'm ready to have my knock sensor replaced. read more

I traveled to Bowling Green from out of town to purchase a trailer I found on Facebook marketplace. The sellers did not speak very good English and they did not tell me that there were different tire sizes on the trailer. I bought the trailer because it was a good deal but I had to have tires for it. Six tire shops were closed and this was the only one open on a Saturday. They had me in and out in less than 30 minutes with a new set of trailer tires at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately I do not live in Bowling Green so I cannot use their services again but I highly recommend them to all residents of Bowling Green. read more

This place is not a good place to go for vehicle tire purchases. We paid over 400 each total of 1600 in new tires. We have had these tires for less than a year. I went in to see if they could repair one of the tires. It has a chunk missing. When I went in they could not find me in their system. I was told to go get my receipt then they could help me. I called my husband and he said that another company had done some repairs and that company took the truck to get the new tires. I called back up to BB Tire and asked if they had the other company in their system. They were able to locate the record. I was asked to come back in so they could look at the tire and see what they could do. When I came back in I was told that because the tires were purchased through someone else that they had no warranty. I said that my husband came in here and paid BB Tire that I had a receipt. They said they were going to loose money and that they weren't sure what they could do to help me. Has I was standing there another customer was told that BB guarantees all work and parts for 2 years. So some customers get the guarantee and others don't. The owner then proceeded to call my husband and raise his voice and yell at my husband. I would never treat one of my customers the way that an B&B treated us. Please look at other tire paces! Discount Tire was extremely helpful and willing to help me replace my tire. I will NEVER forget the way they made me feel. Embarrassed, not important not worth their time. B&B Tire has been nice to us in the past, letting us make payments on repairs, and the younger woman behind the counter was always nice. On our last repair, we had several different people be rude, when we called in to get help, even though the car had been for there for 4 days, and we only called once a day. On the afternoon of the fourth they called and told us that the timing belt breaking had screwed up the engine and it was junk. Even tried to get us to junk it from their parking lot. Said the test took 2.5 hours to do. Luckily, I didn't. We towed it home. A friend knew it was a non-interference engine. Came and did a compression test (in 20 minutes), and sure enough everything was fine. We got the timing belt replaced, for a $1000 less than originally quoted from B&B, and the car works fine - other than issues from the towing company treating our car like crap, but that's a different story. We've been using them for 15 years now, for everything from simple oil changes to complex mechanical work to getting opinions on car purchase . . . everytime they come back with honest suggestions, never trying to sell us a service we don't need. We had a wonderful experience with B&B. Our daughter had just moved to the area for college and had a tire issue. We drove a little over an hour and a half to come and take care of it. We called B&B on our way there and they told us they could take a look at it for us. It ended up being a quick fix, but when we checked out, they introduced themselves to our daughter and told her that they would always be there to help her with any car issues she should have in the future. They handed us a business card and told us they appreciated our business. As parents of a new college freshman who has no family in town, it helped put our minds at ease. Once upon a time, I picked up a nail in a tire, from God knows where, but I needed it looked at. It was late in the day and I pulled into B&B and even though I didn't purchase the tires there ( they were original) B&B looked at my tire, removed the nail and put in a plug, free of charge. Solid favor. I said to myself "Self, next time I get tires, I'm going there" and I did a few years later. $1200 of tires for my Boxster S, not to mention they had to drill out my lock lugs because the key was missing. Add a new set of lock lugs and a couple of hundred $$$ for the labor, but all was good. About a year later, another nail, this time in tires I bought from B&B. Scheduled a look-see and sure enough, one needed replacing, and another on that side needed re-seating. Got my car back, feeling pretty good about things. *cue ominous music* Same car got a non-tire related service last month and the mechanic asked "hey, dude, did you know you're missing a lock lug on your 2 left tires?" I was unaware of that fact. My mind raced back to the last time I had the car in any shop. You guessed it, B&B tires, to have those exact tires worked on. On my way home, I ordered a new set of lock lugs, because you need a whole set and I'm addicted to Amazon Prime. So I called them, trying to control my rage & frustration. The young lady I spoke to assured me that I could bring it by and they'd see what they needed to do. I told her I had a set on order and she said just bring it by and they'll swap them out for me and hinted at reimbursing me for the lugs. A week later, I have the set and swing by as instructed. I don't know, maybe it was a different gal, or maybe she was having a really bad morning. "Do you have an appointment? No, I was told to just bring it by. "Were they both missing from the same wheel? No "Oh, you should be fine then" *rage boiling up at this point* Gave them my key and sat down, and I heard her at least twice "people who come in with no appointment" loud enough that the whole waiting room could hear. Nor did they ask for a receipt for the new set of lugs to reimburse me. Now, at this point, I have a choice. 1) I can get up, and in a louder voice, reply to her that I was TOLD to come by without an appointment and it's pretty sorry that I'm having to go through this after they LET ME DRIVE AWAY IN A PORSCHE WITH 2 MISSING LUGS. 2) Sit there quietly and wait for my car and then Yelp them with a 1 star review. Took my car in because my sensor kept going out. Charges me 150$. Paid got my car. Don't even get home check engine light comes back on. Same problem as before. Call them and talk to the mechanic and he gets loud and aggressive with me when I ask about it. Ask for the manager. He was the manager. Wow. Doesnt offer to look at it or offer a refund. Pretty much tells me I'm S.O.L. I threatened to call the BBB and my lawyer and then he offers a refund. Dont ever go here. read more

I was new in town and they could get the tires I need at a reasonable price but when I got there I should've just drove away but I already asked them to get the tires so I feel obligated their parking lot is way overcrowded you cannot even get a parking spot that always tells me usually that Everybody's working too fast and sloppy work to be done They replace two tires but only replace one valve stem I did not need a new valve stem and mine are the type that communicate to the car when I went back to talk to him about it they said that would be additional $69 in parts plus labor I did not need a new valve stem in the first place they should've left the old in or gave me that choice at the time I don't know anyone that would say yeah just go ahead and put in a Val Sim that makes my car sensors go off The people at the desk are nice enough they just don't offer any service when I came to talk about it they didn't say we're very sorry that we messed up or anything like that just gave me a price to fix the problem that they created read more

Put the wrong size tire on my car. They were very rude, and resistant to helping rectify the issue.... thought I had a warranty on the tires....guess not. They did offer though to "work with me" on buying new tires from them. I wouldn't give them a penny for a new set of four on a mistake like that combined with the rudeness of the "ladies" at the front desk before I even got to speak with an owner/ supervisor. I made an appointment a week in advance to get an oil change and rotation of tires. I brought my own oil and filter. I wanted to make sure the materials were OEM. my car has 16,000 miles. I bought it new. They rotated the tires and within 2 blocks of leaving the parking lot I start hearing a whoomp whoomp whoomp. I decided to run an errand and see if it would straighten out. It didn't. I took it back 90 minutes after leaving and asked them to switch the tires back and I was willing to pay for the second rotation. They replied they were getting ready to go to lunch and I said I would wait. The person left, another came back in and said they could look at it Tuesday if I could drop it off. Then offered to give me a loaner on Monday if I could drop it off. Understand today is Thursday morning. I told them it would only take 15 minutes to rotate the tires back. I leave for work at 5 am and return to town at 5 pm and my commute is 140 miles total each day. I asked again if I could wait and they could rotate the tires and the gal wanted me to look at her schedule. I left and told them I would go somewhere else. I was not going to inflict further damage to my car by continuing to drive it making a noise it shouldn't have. End of story, I took it to Walmart on Scottsville Rd. Purchased the lifetime rotate and balance for $48 (their 1 time rotation is $18), and I asked for the tires to be rotated and balanced. The Walmart folks rotated and balanced the tires, listened to my story about B & B, and when I left the Whoomp noise was gone. Thank you Walmart. It's really a shame B & B couldn't take 15 minutes to change the tires back. And as with other reviewers, they won't admit maybe there was a mistake and they should fix it. read more

We've lived a nightmare from hell because of this business ineptitude with Volvo AC systems and after "making it right" by not charging, I get home and it's still not right. Was without a car for two weeks and after "making it right," I'm going to have to spend additional to get the work done correctly somewhere else. Never will we spend another dime there. read more

They made a mistake in not tying some key cords back in place when doing work. The cords swung down and got chopped up by the fan. When we took it back to them to show them their mistake, they wouldn't admit fault. They did give us HALF of what we paid for the repairs back, but not all of it. The main guy also proceeded to yell at my friend, whom I brought along because of his car knowledge, when my friend spoke up and asked him, "Could this type of damage happened without a mistake being made?" A friend of mine recommended B&B Tire when I started having an issue with my Volkswagen. I called to see if they would be able to diagnose and fix the specific issue I was having and I was delighted to learn that they are able to do everything except body work in the shop. I dropped my car off on a Saturday right before they closed and it was ready for pick up before lunch the following Monday. Sparing you all of the details, they really could've taken advantage of me if they wanted to by insisting things were necessary that we were not but they didn't - quite the contrary - they fixed the problem quickly and when I picked up my car and was told the price, I was very surprised at how reasonable it was. This place it's a joke!! I call to get one of my work trucks and supposedly they order tires and need it to bring it a certain day so we show up and they say that the tires didn't came in they told us another date so I bring it the other day and another excuse they gave this happened on Nov.11th and on Jan. The the 4th I receive and phone call a person upset bc they have 2 tires waiting for me that and I need it then to pick up and that I wasn't doing a good business bc I wasn't coming to get them install that I was a bad customer. Well I thing that first of all you don't call a customer 2 months after and tell him this. First of all the WORST customer service I've had and i will Not recommend this place at all I own a business with 14 pick up trucks and they lost a good customer. This is the first time I've made a review on any social media and the reason I did it, it's bc I'm really upset with the customer service they did, and tell me that I'm the bad customer when all I did wasn't trying to give them business and they call me 2 months after that!!!! read more
