Bought a new car and noticed it was very loud. Mark Muffler squeezed me into their schedule and checked it out for me. Turns out there was a Magnaflow muffler on my car, so they swapped it out with a factory muffler and got it all done within an hour. They weren't able to reuse my tip, but they showed me a used one they had that would work perfect and said they'd clean it up and wouldn't charge me for it. It was very affordable and the guys were really good about explaining things and giving me a cost estimate up front. I would absolutely recommend them and will return in the future if I need anything else done. Also, I had to wait around while they worked on my car because my husband was working. AVOID them at all costs. They gave me an estimate of $600 dollars for a simple fix on my manifold. Also, turned around and said it would be more if they have to take 10 screws out. I was listening to the previous customer and they charge her $600. What a coincidence. When it came time for our estimate it was the same price. Ben was great and squeezed us into their tight schedule and Nick did a great job on the alignment. He brought me several printouts of the readings to see if they were up to my standards. I was gonna not leave a review but changed my mind. Had an appt to get new exhaust from headers to very back. Took all my new flowmaster parts i wanted installed on truck. Never have i ever in my 56 years had a mechanic question me why i was changing a 70,000 mile exhaust system. Told me he could not run pipes from headers to scavenger y pipe because they were 1 1/4"? Wrong they are 2.5 just like the y. Then he tells me that a truck that passed an emission test when i bought it in Ca, in 2019 already had a free flow cat? Wrong, freeflow cat would never pass in that state. If you dont have a scannable barcode on your cat they make you change it. So so far 2 lies cause he didnt want to do the work. So to weld on a cat, run pipe too flowmaster 40 and run 2 tailpipes out behind passengers tire was only 75$ in pipe, but also another 460$ in labor. To top it off when I got home I realized he didnt even weld the flowmaster tips on that cost me 175$ but bolted them on so they easy to steal I guess. Stay away from custom exhaust here. I cant speak on their other work, but they are not a custom exhaust shop. Guess ill take it tomorrow elsewhere and get the header pipes done and tips actually welded on. Looks like a 1500$ exhaust system by the time im done. i will never return to Marks Mufflers ever. They are Crooks! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.. They don't stand by there warranty after supposedly fixing it..I paid over $1500 to have 2 vehicles fixed and they did the work but both vehicles didn't get fixed so we dropped both vehicles off and went to pick back up a few hours later and on the truck they said its something different now, but I got it checked by another shop and they said it is indeed what mark muffler was supposed to have fixed so I told them that and they said pretty much they don't have to fix it..ok.. So on my SUV they said its fixed so I go and crank up my car and STILL the same problem! They don't want to fix there mistakes! I'm probably going to file a law suit on them.. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! I go there for my oil change. Had a problem with exhaust it's was fixed I feel at a good price. But then I had an issue where I had to replace my front hub assembly which are my ball joints and was quoted for $500 !!! Also the quote came from someone other then the person who fixed my exhaust. I don't know that much about cars but I do know that's a little to steep for less then an hour of work so I took it elsewhere and got it fixed for $170 part was about 80 it took about 35 min to fix so yeah might not go back to mark muffler due to trying to overcharge me read more

Went to get my intake gaskets repaired as they thought that was the problem. They gave me a $500 estimate. When i went to get my car, they found the intake gasket was not the problem and the actual fix was less than $100. So, what do they do? They found $400+ worth of other crap to fix (without telling me) so they could still get their $500 out of me. Also, i went here to get my catalytic converter changed. one year later, it needed replacing again.. so i got it replaced and sure enough, one year later THAT one needed replacing as well. But they couldn't help me out because i was "just out of my warrenty" by a couple weeks. they sure must use quality parts huh? I also had a rattle in my Flowmaster muffler and they informed me the shrapnel inside the muffler couldn't be removed due to the chambers in the muffler. Me being the idiot i was, believed them and bought another muffler. Upon receiving the old muffler i flipped it upside down and sure enough, what came out without any problem whatsoever? this place is full of shit, and there is only a couple people who work there who may be honest with you. Gambling isn't legal in KY, but if you feel the need to gamble, then i highly recommend Mark Muffler! read more
