Of course, nobody showed by 9:15 so I called to confirm. Seems the guy called off sick. I understand that, but why did nobody call us to change the appointment rather than leave us sitting and waiting? This has happened to us time and time again with Florida companies! Advance, it seems, also falls into this category!

Takes a deposit upfront and then never does the job. He will put a bogus lien on your home and has been getting away with it for years. Check Better Business Bureau and DBPR. There are A lot of complaints about Amp'd Electric and Bobby Glen Garner jr He lies on the liens claiming he did work and dropped off materials at property. This was my experience with this electrician and many many others have said the same thing online.

They gave me an estimate window of 2pm-4pm on Wednesday. They never showed up. No one bothered to give me advanced warning of being late or not showing up. I called them, and a lady was fumbling her words and making a ton of excuses. She said she would call me back in "3 minutes." She never called me back, but she did send an email to reschedule. Based on no follow through of something basic as a phone call, I went against my gut instinct and decided to give them one more chance. They gave me a one hour window of 2pm-3pm on Thursday. They never showed up. No one bothered to give me advanced warning of being late or not showing up. I called them, and a lady was fumbling her words and making a ton of excuses. The apologies sounded insincere as if it was something she was repeating all day long to people. She said she could reschedule me for the following Tuesday, but offered no ownership of the issue and no guarantee that the 3rd time would be any different. If they didn't want the job, then they should have told me. I wouldn't have wasted 2 days off and I wouldn't have written this bad review.

However, they didn't tell they were going to send me the best one on the roster! Steven showed up in one of the worst Florida storms with a giant smile on his face. On top of asking me about the details of the job, he did his due diligence of checking the wiring around the house and circuit breaker. I lucky had a squeaky clean one so he was able to go ahead with the estimates of the job. I don't know if it was just an amazing procedure that Super Fast Electric implements or it was a "Steven original," but he provided three different estimates based on the conversations we had. I don't have a job quality review yet, because it hasn't been completed, but I will update the post in the future, with the results. If it goes well, I'm glad I can skip calling around first and go straight to them!

Back in 2018, after seeing his really good onlline reviews, I found him to be very polite, professional, and friendly. He worked over 3 hours to fix 3 different things and the bill was a very reasonable price... and that included parts he purchased during a Home Depot run. And although my current electrical issue turned out to be a Duke issue, Carlos was ready to do a service call within a short notice... as my home didn't have enough voltage to run the A/C.
