I had a problem with a GFCI outlet. I tried to fix it. I made it worse (who hasn't done that at some point?). I was not familiar with local electricians, so I did some research and called Super Fast Electric. The next morning, Carlos came over. Before he came, he texted me a picture and a bio and told me he was on his way. On the job, he patiently endured my questions and fixed the problem (bad outlet, bad wiring). He also did a check of the house and made some recommendations for improving my system. All is well now, and I'm pleased. I'll be calling them again. Doorbell decided to stop working and started humming and had a burning smell. I turned off the breaker which also turned off 1 of the kids room so electrical nightmare and a kids nightmare without power. I called and talked to Alvin they worked with me to get someone out same day and worked with my families scheduled. So yesterday, I plugged in a heater I got off amazon into a plug I believed was on its own breaker. I was wrong and it shutdown my whole garage. This was really bad because I work out of my garage and all my equipment was down. I checked the panel myself but nothing was tripped. I thought I was in real trouble. Fortunately, Varick from Super Fast Electric was able to come in early today and figured out the whole scheme impressively fast. Despite having a curious onlooker asking tons of questions. He not only fixed the issue, but also ran a new outlet that was on a separate breaker to prevent that issue in the future. A flipped switch on the upstairs electrical panel which another Electrican found in 10 min, would have cost me $800 from Super Fast and cost $80 instead. Not sure how my Electrican knew where the second box was but he did and flipped a tripped switch. And voila it was fixed. Super Fast quotes by the job not hourly. So in this case I would have been out of $800 for a very minor issue. Plus they wouldn't do the work for liability reasons until I upgraded my outside box at the tune of $5800 because it was not up to the latest UL standards although it works perfectly. Or sign a release of liability. I did like that they were able to quote me on the spot on a laptop. And for extra money I could reduce my bill by joining their membership with annual visits. Never heard of annual electrical visits though. If you want to upgrade your entire house and have thousands to spend, then maybe they are your guys, but they really missed the mark on this visit. read more

Solid 4 stars for an extremely reliable and great electric company. We had an old attic fan that hasn't worked for years and wanted to get it fixed. Out of the 3 companies we reached out to, Super Fast was the only one that actually came out to diagnose and do a brief overview of our overall electrical system. Overall, communication is top notch. The main person answering telephone calls is very pleasant and easy to talk to. The reps that came to my house were both efficient and effective. The only thing I thought didn't line up was the price. I get it, it's a high skilled job but for the time spent completing our fan install it seemed to not line up. I needed to do some electrical work on a double-tapped electrical panel and some other things that had caused my house insurance to go up drastically. I called on Tuesday and they had an opening on Thursday morning from 8-12 AM to take a look and give an estimate. The electrician arrived at 8:10 A.M. I was glad I didn't have to wait around all morning. He looked at the panel and some other things and said he could fix it in about an hour. I would like to point out that I asked for a representative to come to my condo to provide a quote. I was told there would be a 70.00 service charge to come out and if I proceed with their quote it would be taken off the total. Again no free estimate, what would I do if your quote was 200.00 more than another quote? Eat the 70.00 service charge to get a bad estimate? read more

As a new homeowner, every little thing can be scary. When we had some issues with outlets, pool lights not working, and a hardwired garbage disposal that needed the wiring removed, we knew we needed to have an electrician out. Add COVID to that mix and it makes things even more stressful. I did some research and found Super Fast Electric. I sent over an email with a list of things that needed to be looked at and Colleen gave me a call back a short while later to set up an appointment for someone to come out and take a look at everything. We picked a date that worked best for both of us and Carlos came out, on time, to take a look. Carlos took a look at all the issues we were having and was able to give us a quote for all the work that needed to be done. He would've been able to do the job on the spot but had a long commute to his next one so we opted to think things over and do the job on a different day.
