I believe the company knowingly outsources to other contractors. We called to set up an appointment with B&A after seeing good reviews on Google. We were told to expect a call back. They called back (or a different company did, still not sure) and said they couldn't help due to miscommunication over the type of job. Later another number called to say they were coming over but would not give us a quote over the phone. At this point we still didn't realize it was a different company. Lior showed up from 24 Hour Locksmith with an unmarked car. The whole experience was high pressure and we were charged 750 to replace a lock. The job took 30 minutes and he didn't even screw in all the screws. He wanted to be paid in cash or Zelle. We ultimately paid his boss, Shlomo, via Venmo. Overall a terrible experience. Feel scammed and regret not reading yelp reviews to begin with. Don't make our mistake: use someone else! What terrible, dishonest people. Again, beware. Update: 5/14/2025: On top of their technician lying to me per my review below, it turns out she also broke the lock she was ostensibly opening. It was a little bit loose after she forced it open, and now, less than two weeks later my wife called me from outside the house because her key won't work. She called another locksmith who checked it out and said that permanent damage had been done to the lock. So now we have to spend several hundred dollars replacing the lock they not only lied about the 'standard rate' to overcharge me by 2-3x but actually *broke*. Company sends subcontractors to do the work. Reviews are probably fake. We were clear that these were new doors and the guy who came out had no idea what he was doing. We had five locksets to install but he had no idea what to do with the one that had been previously installed so had no instructions. The other four, holy cow. He installed the locks and handles through the predrilled door holes but didn't drill the frames or even chisel out the door for the plates. When he had them all done, he announced this fact and I walked around and found no strike plates or even holes for the deadbolt or latch. He insisted that we should have told him before he started that we expected the work to be done completely and generally was a total jerk. He wouldn't budge on the price $100 per partially installed lockset and the same quality of job that I could have done in less time. He also mis-drilled our new door and everything is crooked. It was a total mistake calling this company and you'll have no idea who they send. We got an incompetent jerk. The invoice they gave us doesn't have an address or a phone number either. We needed to have a new electronic keypad lock installed on our front door, and then rekey our doorknob to use the same key if the keypad ran out of power. We called and Nathan was sent the same day. He first installed a new keypad, but for whatever reason, it didn't work well. He took it back and brought in another one which worked great. He then used the emergency key from the keypad and now the doorknob uses the same key - much better than having to use 2 keys for the front door. I saw the excellent reviews on google so I decided to call and we received another person from a different company that arrived. He drilled the lock and replaced with a lower quality lock in about 20 minutes, left a mess of metal shavings and charged us over $600. The guy just pointed to the receipt when I questioned the price. Ive replaced locks at this business multiple times myself for around $16 so Im hoping they can explain why this technician charged us such an amount. I had a very bad experience with this company. They sent a technician to my house when my lock wasn't working. He was dismissive and condescending when I asked questions to try to understand the root cause of our issue so that I could validate that rekeying the lock would fix it. He rekeyed the lock and then told me that I owed him $865. When trying the new key, it didn't feel smooth to me, so I tried retesting it a few times. He told me to get out of his way so that I he could finish up. 2 days later - low and behold - the door wouldn't open again. He added some oil and explained to my husband what he had done (he was dismissive to me again). another week later, and it had become very clear that this expensive "fix" did not work. We are unable to use our front door. I tried calling the company daily for a week and did not receive a response. read more

**Update as of 6/1** I made 9 calls throughout a month because the call center keeps saying they will escalate the matter and have the management team reach out. No callback up until now. Someone may ask why 9 times? I wanted to talk to the management to notify the unjust service & experience I had to go through. Before writing this review, I confirmed I had the correct business, so the "owner" here on Yelp can't claim this as a "mixup" like he has on all of the other bad reviews. Another issue was the technician was wearing a teeshirt with a different phone number and driving a personal car. This is not operating on honesty and it appears as if these technicians are not from this company but rather subcontractors. David, the technician, said it would be $150 and then when asking for payment (without completing the job) said it will be $1850 for unlocking and unjamming the door. Immediately the red flags were screaming scam. When I called back to escalate and speak to his supervisor, I got reception who promised a callback but could not tell me from who, what number, or when I would be getting the call back.
