Oh boy. Where do I start? I came in to quickly to find a dress a few weeks before giving birth. I had my toddler with me and wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. I selected three dresses I thought might work with my baby bump. A staff member asked if she could set up a changing room for me, and I said sure. When I got to the changing room, she'd for some reason selected six or seven other dresses for me also, effectively tripling my try-on time. I gave all the dresses a chance to be polite, and only one fit over my bump. (I suspect this salesperson had never been pregnant). A few of them were hideous and made me feel embarrassed she thought I would want to wear them. I ended up buying a dress, but it was one of the ones I picked out for myself, and I was tired and cranky from having my time wasted and being forced to make nice with a salesperson when I am very introverted and don't have energy for extra conversation even when I'm not pregnant with a toddler. Also, there was barely room for my stroller to get through the store! After all that, I don't know if I see myself coming back. On the other hand, this would have been a great experience for someone who's more extroverted and wanted personalized help. With that in mind, I've given four stars--but please try to help your staff understand why this approach is probably alienating some customers. read more

With that the staff tried their best but at the end of they day didn't offer even a 5% off. I was out shopping for dresses for family pictures, which can be such a nightmare to coordinate. I had looked at Bohme online and had a few dresses in mind to try on. Initially - the employees were very friendly. The gal at the dressing rooms was always polite and super nice. Wish I could say the same for the employee working the counter. I waited quite a while for her to come up, but the store was moderately busy so that's fine. I had wanted to place a dress on hold for 20ish minutes while I waited for my husband to respond (because it was above what I said I was going to spend, haha.) The only reason I even THOUGHT of putting it on hold was because they were filling out a hold slip and put a dress on hold while I was there, in the store. So when I asked to put it on hold for a few minutes, the employee literally looked me up and down and said 'nope no holds on Saturday' and then turned to the people next to me and started checking them out. If she hadn't reacted like that, I would have just checked out because I really liked the dress. Instead, I put it back on the rack and went next door and bought a different dress. Literally liked the one at Bohme more, but I'm not going to spend money where people treat you poorly. When we left, my daughter (12) asked 'why she was being rude' and 'if I knew her.' Trying to do an exchange is nearly impossible. They tell me they never recd the item. Than they tell me they did receive the item but it takes 10-15 days to process. When I checked back in 15 days they said they did not have the item from me. No one shop at this online store. It's a total joke. My experience with online ordering at Bohme is beyond terrible. It's really disappointing because their dresses are beautiful and I thought I finally found a good quality place to buy modest but pretty dresses. Please, don't purchase from them. They pose as having a customer service email, phone,and chat line, but they don't. Calls are not answered, emails are not replied - if anything goes wrong with your order (and it will), they will not help, replace, or refund. I have been calling them and emailing with no results. I received only one item in my order and I have to admit, I am happy with the product. But I'm out of the money for one dress that never arrived and probably won't be replaced. I've been an online customer of Böhme for about two years. Most of my closet is from them! Their pieces are stylish, quality is good and they're constantly getting new arrivals. The info on their website is helpful when deciding which size to order. However, shipping is TERRIBLE. It takes FOREVER for my orders to arrive, and in one year, two of my orders were lost in transit. One piece of advice, buy the Route insurance. Otherwise, when orders are lost in transit, you're only eligible to receive store credit per their policies. Which isn't helpful in my case because their clothes sell out quickly and now everything I ordered is out of stock. I have been a loyal customer of Bohme for years. I had no idea that their return policy had changed to store credit or gift card ONLY. They always accepted returns to the original form of payment. They also used to offer the option of credit with a small percentage added on if you bought something on their website with your return. They just lost a loyal customer since I will not buy things from them in the future due to this return policy. I hope they get a lot of complaints and go back to their old policy. read more

I ordered a dress on 7/2, it arrived over a week later with no tracking emails provided. there weren't reviews stating it runs 2sizes small, but that happens, no big deal, I immediately sent it back for return. Bohme received the return package 7/18. I had to email CS 3-4x before I got a refund - on 8/4!! Over a month after I ordered this and well over 2 full weeks after they received it back! If I hadn't emailed doubt they'd have refunded me. And KEEP in mind, they take a "restocking fee"---so for a $76 order, I was refunded $58. Buyer beware! read more

I was thrilled to see the designs they... I was thrilled to see the designs they offered and super excited to receive my three items. Despite the fact that only one item was actually sized small - though all were labeled so - I was happy with the sweater I kept. Within three days I returned the unused items in their original package, along with the item I never even ordered nor was charged for, to Bohme. I should preface the rest of my comments with the fact that I've never written a negative online review.....ever. Finding a way to return your online purchase requires patience, much patience. Maybe we're living in an 'Amazon World' of quick returns, but folks.........the benchmark for ease of customer service has been set by several leading companies, of which Bohme is not. I shipped my return on Oct 1. On Oct 3 they acknowledged receipt my returned package and graciously offered me the opportunity to immediately replace my $96.91 credit with another purchase, which I did not opt to do. On Oct 12th they wrote the return has been processed and that I would receive updates. I've asked them for updates twice with no response. It's now the evening of Oct 21, with no response. I'm giving this a low review. I like the style of clothes etc. But the times I've gone shopping to their store, I basically might do everything myself... I went into Böhme in city creek excited for their new opening. I was looking for a dress I wanted that I saw online. I grabbed the dress and waited for a fitting room since no one had asked me if I wanted one. After waiting (mind you the employees were literally walking right in front of me back and forth helping others and no it was not busy) after standing there and realizing I was being ignored by the whole staff basically, I got a fitting room for myself. No one checked up on me, no one asked me if I needed help with anything. And I don't care for that specifically. What bothered me is that I was ignored the whole time. Had it not been because An employee has to ring me up I would've ended up doing that myself too. Now I wasn't dressed up nor am I white. And I hate to say it but they were really biased towards my appearance. I visited another store in Southtown mall. And also had the same experience. They also greeted everyone else and checked up on them too. They also ignored me. I have not had any good experiences shopping at their stores. So I do not at all feel comfortable going into this store filled with their very Caucasian looking girls that think they're too good for anything. read more

I have been purchasing clothing from Bohme for the past several months. For the most part, I have been satisfied. I have returned a few items do to poor sizing and at that time, returns were free and you were issued a credit to your original form of payment. Unbeknownst to me they have changed their policy and only issue a merchandise credit for your return. The problem is this does not allow me to use these funds to purchase elsewhere. I don't think this policy is fair. There are not giving me interest on my money they are holding. As of this review I will no longer be purchasing from Bohme. Thankfully my credit is only for $68 and not hundreds. As you know buying online is always a risk since one is unable to try on the clothing. Why should the customer be penalized if the product is not correctly sized or product not appear as shown. read more

I have been shopping at Bohme for many years. I was surprised to learn the return policy changed to exchange or in store credit only. Someone who was a regular shopper would not think to check the return policy as it has always been 30 days. Now I'm stuck with a few hundred dollars worth of store credit. DO NOT shop here. This is my favorite store to order clothes from!! A few suggestions though. 1) I am from Minneapolis and the delivery system Bohme uses takes SO long! I've ordered at least ten times and it always takes 2+ weeks. I wish you would use a different courier :( 2) an ability online to write reviews under certain clothing items would be amazing! I would review the clothing I buy and I often hesitate purchasing certain things due to the lack of the ability to read other customers reviews or add a review. Just an idea :) Other than that, the clothes are adorable and super different (in a good way). I'm 5'4 and usually the smallest size available and have yet to order something that doesn't fit. Perhaps a little too large, but that's alright :) it's easier for ordering online to pick from SML anyways than 0, 2, 4, etc. Their prices are reasonable as well. If you watch it'll go on sale and orders usually come with a discount code. As a husband who likes to surprise his wife with clothes every once in a while, I get super frustrated that I can't ever take a risk on a Bohme purchase without the fear of it not working out and being stuck with the item or store credit. The quality of the clothes, the ordering process and the multiple follow up emails of where my package is what I call exceptional customer service. You need to read all the print before ordering for the details that included you will be charged when you order along with some delivers take time - if this is an issue - don't order. While I love to shop at this store, their Shipping is the slowest of any other Business I have ever used. They are local to me, and there is no reason I as the consumer should have to call on a package that takes over 7 days or longer when we live in the same city. They use a Company called First Mile, which has no idea where my package is, and they admitted to being slowed. Therefore they were supposed to hand off my package to USPS. They still show no scan 4 days later. Seriously, this is getting ridiculous and the Seller needs to invest in better solutions for delivering merchandise. Clothing quality leaves a lot to be desired. One medium fit great, another large wouldn't even go around my arms and another large drowned me. Further, one of the items I bought and brought home had a bad tear in the arm that I didn't notice in the dressing room. Luckily I got to return it because when I tried to return the items I bought on their clearance rack the lady refused. I did buy a darling poncho. wore it twice, my son tugged on it and off flew the button. I'll have to hand sew the buttons on to make sure none come flying off at the slightest tug. I won't be shopping there or buying anything unless it is a brand line/name I trust (they sell Roxy and some other more trusted quality brands). This was the south town location but the costumer service was good when I was buying but wasn't very good on my return trip. I have never had to get nasty with an associate before but she was making up lies to prevent me from returning an item that wasn't on clearance when I bought it. I had the worst feeling having to get rude and tell her that I tried on a medium which fit and when I bought a large to size up the arms wouldn't even go on. They were size small arms on a large blouse. I'll stick to shopping elsewhere. That said they are trendy & have some cute things.
