I went into this location on a Sunday to do a little shopping before a trip. I specifically was looking for sweaters and a coat. I was able to find so many great options and walked out with everything I needed. If you're buying something that isn't on sale then the prices aren't that great for the quality, but they had so many sales that it felt totally worth it! Old Navy's hiring process was extremely unprofessional. I was told that I was hired and was given a start date, so I reasonably believed I had the job. Then they completely stopped responding and ghosted me without any explanation, update, or courtesy. Telling someone they are hired and giving them a start date is not something that should be taken lightly. People make decisions about their schedules, finances, and other job opportunities based on that information. If the hiring decision changed, the least they could have done was communicate that instead of leaving me waiting and confused. The lack of communication and professionalism was disappointing, especially from such a large company. I would not recommend trusting a job offer from this location until you have completed onboarding and have everything officially confirmed. read more

Wow! Talk about great customer service. I had ordered some things online, but they didn't work out. The products had shipped late and it was past the return date because of it. The manager was a rockstar and still allowed me to return them because of the shipping issue. I really appreciated her personable attitude and her willingness to help customers. Not much to rave about here. Sometimes they have good sales, majority of the time they don't, lines are always long, store is somewhat clean, dressing rooms smells like a boys locker room, poor quality of clothing items = expensive prices, mediocre customer service, ummm... Ho hum. The good news is that it's not in a mall. Strip mall? Yes. But mall full of squealy teenage girls and stroller moms barely past the squealy teenage years? No. So that's a positive. On the whole, seems to me that Old Navy has lost its edge. Neither as affordable nor as fashionable as it once was. Still a juggernaut in Utah's fashion scene, but not the toast of the town. This particular store never quite seems tidy. Holidays aside, it's tolerable. Mid-December it's a bit torturous, but then again, most places are that time of year. Next to a book store, near the Home Depot and Target. Probably a place you would pop in when shopping elsewhere but it doesn't show up as a to-do in my schedule book. read more

This is a pretty standard Old Navy. It's a good-sized store with a decent selection. I was a little miffed by some clothing being on the clearance rack that wasn't on clearance, but it happens. My husband went into a changing room to try stuff on and the employees were chatting with each other and not paying attention. They told a guy that my husband's changing room was empty, so he got walked in on mid-change. Whoops. The store was pretty empty while we were in there (7:30pm on a weeknight), there were no lines, and the employee who checked us out was friendly/helpful. read more

Their clothing did not fit and was low in price so why decline to refund me a cash paying customer. So lame as to not even offer to search through their records off of a transaction number. Real mature closing 5 minutes early, Old Navy. I just had to make a return. Oh, I guess I forgot it takes 10 minutes per person at the checkout line...15 if you get an old navy card. I'm finally done with Old Navy. Poor quality for the price, and the longest lines ever at EVERY location (with the exception of Taco Bell drive through, that took 20 minutes). read more

Pretty nice store with a good selection of stuff. I went when there was a huge sale so they had a TON of stuff. The selection always seems to be pretty consistently good at this particular Old Navy, but nothing really screams "special" when compared with all the other ON stores. read more

Disorganized chaos with continuously long lines. It doesnt matter the time of day when I come in here it is an absolute disaster. Clothes are everywhere, unfolded, off hangers, even on the ground. Im sure alot of the mess is done by rude lazy customers but the staff needs to try and keep up cuz a girl cant shop in that kind of mess. read more

So irritating! Wife bought some shorts for our son. Old navy did not take off the security tags. Had to come back with the shorts. As I walked in the alarm went off. I told them that is why I am here.I was told Old Navy could not take off the security tag without the receipt or the card. I had neither. As I walked out the alarm did NOT go off. I turned to tell them that the sensors did not go off. " That's ok, those ones don't work at good." This is how we got to this point. At what point is cheap clothing worth horrible customer service? Horrible service and misinterpretation of the law! My sister went in there to buy some capris. She had one pair to try on and had her toddler and newborn baby with her in the stroller. She was denied access to the handicap ACCESSIBLE dressing room and was told she would have to take her children out of the stroller into a dressing room at the end. Mind you that there is pretty much no one in the store least of which someone who needs use of the handicap dressing room. They told her it was against the law. Upon further research on the American Disabilities Act NOWHERE does it say is illegal to use handicap facilities such as dressing rooms and restroom stalls. It might be an ethical issue of course if someone WERE in need of it. The law does however require certain specifications and accessibility to those that are handicapped. If it were a parking space, yes, there are laws against it, but a dressing room? Nope. Also, even though she is not disabled, what if she were? Many disabilities are hidden and to deny access based off of outward look alone is illegal. Shame on you you stuck up, power hungry employees! read more

I live very close to this location but will never go there again. Everything is thrown around and mislabeled. I found some pants that were from an online return so they were on sale for 80% off the original price, and I got a shirt from an entire individual rack with 30 other of the exact same shirts labeled for $6. When I went to the register the shirt rang up for $12 and I told them it was 6 and the guy rolled his eyes and went and checked then gave it to me but the pants the cashier did not know how to do math and was so ridiculous. The original price of the pants was $20 so with 80% off they should have only been $4 but he kept saying they were $12 I do now know how he thought that was right but him and the manager at the next register said that was right and we're getting really rude so I just didn't buy them. All the other customers had problems as well this store is terrible and unorganized and everyone working there is so so rude. read more

When I called the store I was sent on a wild goose chase to two different departments at Old Navy Customer Relations and on hold for 20 minutes only to be told to call the store back as they can do nothing at corporate. Called the store back and was on hold for another 15 minutes to be told if I come in with the receipt they might be able to help... Jumping thru hoops to solve your mistake. read more

I thought that the sugar house location was bad.. the worst customer service I have EVER received. Not one yes this is correct not only ever employee greeted me because they were all in clusters of three or more complain about how they were asked to move merchandise around during and how clever she was in getting them to do it they couldn't say no, however they sure could all watch me did tbrough the t-shirts looking for my size Absolutely insane the lack of concern or care about the customer. I had purchased clothing yesterday at the sugar house store and the girl that rang me up was so busy talking to her two other coworkers that she brushed me away when she overcharged me for seven items. When I tried to explain to cashier at cottonwood Heights you may have thought I asked her to HELP me all she did was not listen, overtake me,argue with me and final words are ; I can't help you take it back to their store as they messed up and she couldn't figure it out. Usually I have a good experience shopping at Old Navy. This last time, however, I was very disappointed with the customer service. They had a sale on all t-shirts, and there was a style I had been eyeing on the website, which said it was available at this location. I asked 2 employees about the shirt, and was treated like an idiot. They insisted Old Navy carried no such shirt. I even pulled it up on my phone and showed them the picture. They continued acting like I had no idea what I was talking about. Their body language, lack of eye contact, and the way they spoke to me made me feel as if i was a nuisance and that they had better things to do than help a customer. If I could give a zero, I would. I visited the Old Navy in Fort Union this evening and when the lights dimmed I headed to the casher. When I got there, I realized how much my two items added up to be and honestly, I didn't need them. So, I asked the cashier if he would cancel my transaction. To which he responded... You know there's price tag on these." Indeed, I do know that there are/were price tags on these items. However, I changed my mind. It happens. People do change their minds from one minute to the next. Perhaps you should change your attitude. I understand that it was the end of your shift, but considering it was 8:56PM and there were customers behind me, I don't think I deserved your snide comment. Furthermore, I too have worked retail and patrons would walk into my place of employment at 8:56PM. While I found it frustrating, I never treated them like an idiot.
