I've had about 10 visits from 11-01-2018 until now 02-14-2019. On 1-08-2019 Vitrectomy surgery was performed to save my right eye. Dr Khanna performed a perfect surgery and saved my right eye. Two weeks later I was experiencing extreme eye pressure and was in a state of tears from the constant eye stabbing pain. I was able to get a hold of Dr Khanna on a Saturday. I talked to him on the phone and he was able to diagnose the issue. He called my pharmacy and prescribed me eye drops that helped. He saw me two days later on a Monday. He determined I needed to be seen by his colleague Dr Unzueta to get my eye pressure down. Dr Unzueta diagnosed me and determined I needed a Ahmed Valve surgery ASAP. With in 2 days Dr Unzueta performed the surgery perfectly. The pain is now gone and my eye which was in the high 50s in now normal range of 10-13. Together these two specialists along with their staffs saved my right eye. Barbara and Alex are both great staff members. The red hair girl is very nice also and fun to talk to. The way she treated us was unacceptable, especially considering that we were there to help my elderly grandmother. At 90 years old, my grandmother deserves to be treated with patience, kindness, and respect, just like every other customer. No one should have to feel uncomfortable or disrespected when seeking care or assistance. Customer service matters, and I was very disappointed by the lack of professionalism we experienced. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the situation so other customers, especially elderly individuals, are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. To make matters worse, this was my grandmother's third visit, and she still cannot see properly through her glasses. Despite returning multiple times for help with this issue, they refused to do anything to resolve the problem. This is completely unacceptable. A 90-year-old customer should not have to make three trips and still leave without glasses she can see through or receive the help she needs. It was a bit of a wait, but it just speaks to the time and patience Dr. Zamora takes with her patients. And then Judy! After I filled in my intake information, she explained the purpose of every machine used throughout the eye exam. I even got to see some pictures taken of the back of my eye (first time ever seeing that after over 25 years of wearing glasses!). After the exam she took my existing eyeglasses to pull the existing prescription. She courteously tightened and cleaned them too!! Dr.Zamora then proceeds to complete the exam and explains every step of the way as she assesses my eyes. She's very personable so I felt comfortable sharing recent eye history and issues I've been experiencing with vision and wearing contact lenses. She's very knowledgeable too! After examination, Dr Jiang confirmed the presence of the tear and recommended laser treatment to prevent potential detachment in the future. He informed me treatment can be done right away and asked me to sign the consent form. A couple numbing drops later and he began to laser the torn spot. After about 5 minutes, the treatment was done and it was practically painless. The only sensation I felt was slight pressure on the eyeball from time to time. Overall, this was a lot less stressful than I imagined. Highly recommend Dr Jiang!

I've been seeing Dr. Chang for about 7 years now, great doctor always a good experience…read more My contact lens prescription expired 3 months ago (apparently they only are good for one year) and I just wanted to reorder another box until my next annual appointment in a few months. I looked up that sometimes they can do a courtesy extension of the prescription if your vision has been stable and have no issues. I asked for such an extension but was told multiple times I would have to get another contact lens exam for $160 (out of pocket) in addition to the cost of the lenses. I think that as a long time patient they should be able to accommodate such an easy request, since I would be getting my annual exam soon again anyway. It's not easy to schedule an unnecessary exam especially with a busy schedule, just to get a box of contacts. Bottom line loyalty doesn't seem to count here and maybe it's time to switch optometrists.
