The absolute best wings I have ever had! They are a must for us when visiting this area! Try the Cajun dry rub, they're crispy and delicious, check out the margarita deal while you're there also! read more

Queso, chips, Burritos Rancheros and Top Shelf Margarita were delicious. Jessica took awesome care to see that we had everything we needed. Husband said beef enchiladas "were ok". read more

Great service. Food was average. Desperately needs additional seasonings and spices!!! Good beans and rice. Chips were not toasted as they are in other Mexican restaurants. Canned tomatoes were disappointing. read more

Great food with a fun atmosphere and friendly, accommodating management and staff! Also, a nice bar!

I'd like to update my previous review. I have been to Azteca several times in the last 5 months, both with and without my daughter. First of all, the salsa has been FAR better on most of those occasions - nicely seasoned, chunky, and with a little heat. Secondly, I gave them a second try on my favorite meal, the carnitas. MUCH better! The first time I ordered them (last year?), they were mostly fat. Now, they're well-seasoned (although my last trip was overly salty) and meaty. No more huge chunks of fat being served on my plate. Thirdly, the rice is a HUGE improvement. Enough that I order an extra side of rice now when I split a plate with a friend or my daughter. The beans are still a bit on the heavy/salty side ... but everything else is vastly improved. So much so, in fact, that my book club has decided to hold our monthly meetings at Azteca. We meet on Saturday nights, and we tend to get silly and loud and have a lot of fun. The atmosphere at Azteca allows us to do this without feeling inappropriately loud. The owner has stopped in to see us a couple of times, and the staff are always wonderful. We couldn't ask for a better place to spend our one night out a month. Oh, and the sweet tea? Not as good as the margaritas, but still pretty dang sweet. ;) read more

Beware of shady billing practices at this place. On a recent visit on "children eat free night", they added on some fraudulent charges hidden in the sales tax. They add in the cost of the kids meals when figuring the sales tax. On the credit card bill they show a credit for the kids meals, but not the total they figured the tax from. I never received an itemized bill, and the figures show we were charged a bit more than the 6% required. When I inquired about it later, they blamed it on their computer! Otherwise, food was good, service adequate. It only cost me a couple of bucks for this lesson of consumer beware!! I'll be on guard in the future. read more

I don't usually give bad reviews, I read bad reviews, and still give restaurants a chance. But the food here is terrible. They use a frozen guacamole, that looks like baby food. The salsa tastes like spaghetti sauce with cilantro. The Margaritas are disgusting. It taste like straight sweet and sour mix, with no tequila. So I ordered Nachos, with they assumption "they cant mess up nachos." Well I was wrong. Overcooked chicken, and steak. No fresh ingredients. A cheap white cheese sauce. My Mom ordered fajitas, the onions and tomatoes were mushy, and again the steak was overcooked. I'm not writing this review to bash this restaurant, I'm doing it in hopes that the owners will read this and make some changes, and maybe try using some fresh ingredients. read more

As far as mexican restaurants around Crestview which currently there are 4 that I know of and it's the better one. Very fast service and consistent with their food. However, the salsa seems on some days to be very flavorful and others it tastes like tomato sauce with a hint of salt. It's not the best mexican restaurant I've been too, but it will definitely do when looking for a quick fix when craving decent mexican food. read more

The chips and salsa tasted store bought. The kids had boneless wings in mild buffalo sauce which tasted more like sweet and sour. I ordered the queso dip and it just tasted like plain melted cheese. Last but not least, my $10 top shelf margarita was strong on alcohol but lacked any taste. The reason I have given two stars was because our waiter was great and very attentive. This was the second time here and will be my last. read more

We had the lunch nachos locos. Awesome. Perfect amount. Medium margarita was perfect. I am absolutely stuffed and could not finish it. Roll me out the door please. read more

Great margaritas!!!!!!!! Come here every Wednesday. The service is fantastic the owners are even better. Megan our server was very accommodating and attentive. Will continue to come back again and again. read more

Love the Steak Quesadilla and their Chicken or Steak fajitas! I would definitely recommend this place along with their chips and queso. The waiters and waitresses are always very nice and accommodating. We come here quite often since I have never been disappointed. read more

Amazing guacamole, rice and beans, wings, nachos locos and margaritas. Exceedingly amazing food and even better service

Husband and I were just looking for a place to enjoy a beer, the beer is cheap pitcher of Bud Light for $5.00, food was good I had the 2 soft chicken tacos they were tasty, chicken was flavorful and not dry. The Resturant used to have a Back room club area but it's closed off. read more

They offer 2 for 1 margaritas & they are awesome!! They come in a huge glass & are the best around. A great place for friends to gather & catch up or just unwind from the day. Their chips & salsa is a perfect combination with these drinks. It also has a great atmosphere. read more

Our waiter was great, attentive and friendly. We went on a Monday and they have awesome margarita specials. $1.50 for regular margarita and $2.50 for frozen, but this is limited to the lime flavor only. Frozen margarita was pretty good so I'd go back for that alone. Ordered the chicken enchilada which was probably one of the worst ones I've ever had. It came with shredded chicken on the inside with no cheese on top or inside, and a very bland sauce that topped the enchilada. I'm not very picky when it comes to food but I'd say I've had frozen enchiladas that you can cook in the oven at home that had more flavor than this. My fiancé had a chicken burrito that he did enjoy, however. Overall I was a little disappointed, but prices are decent. I'll probably give it a second try but skip the enchilada. read more

The food and service was great. It was more authentic than other places in Florida. Our server was actually from Mexico and was very easy to talk to and made the experience worth coming back for. The food was fast to come but you could tell that it was not microwaved as with other fast service restaurants. read more

Azteca Mexican Restaurant - Inside the restaurant. - Mexican Near Me - Crestview, Florida

Definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant. Always fast, never mess up your order, and great customer service. (The pork carnitas are bomb)

Great food, hot fresh and delicious. Slow service but that didn't bother us as we were just passing through and enjoyed the time out of the car. Can't beat $1.25 margaritas and $1.25 tacos on Monday special!! The churros/ice cream could have been a bit more thought out, but the kids devoured it and smiled the whole way through! read more

Great Mexican food and the best in Crestview, all at a good price. Service is good as well. I recommend the sampler platter, as it gives a variety of what's served here. However, I'll give bit of warning for those that have bowel problems.... read more

Two hostess' totally rude, not an ounce of customer service in their blood i almost walked right back out. Only reason for even 3 stars is because the waiter was friendly. Food was okay nothing spectacular read more

After reading reviews, we were leary. Our experience was wonderful. Salsa was very fresh, probably best we've had in a while! Lunch portions filled us up and food was very good! Our waiter never let us run out of drinks and food was prepared as we requested! We would definitely come back! read more

It's a pretty good Mexican restaurant for the location. This is the only Mexican restaurant I go to in Crestview. The food is good, but the magaritas are better! I think it's way better than La Rumbas. read more

Completely worth it! Coming from Cali it's been hard to find an authentic Mexican restaurant. We went here on a whim and I'm so glad we did. California burrito was amazing and fIling! Our waiter Adrian was attentive and nice! Plus I asked for some extra spicy sauce as I love fire when I eat and was actually given something spicy! read more

This is seriously the worst mexican food I have ever had. I tend to be over critical of mexican food since I grew up eating tex-mex but this was terrible. The chips and salsa seemed like they came from a bag. I got the vegetable quesadilla and chili relleno plate and both were unbelievably greasy with the nastiest cheese. My husband got enchiladas and a tamale. He said his was greasy too and the enchilada tasted like it was dipped in tomato sauce. My husband will eat anything and never complains and he even said that it was gross and he never wants to go back. read more

The food was ok. The house Margherita was 99 cents, so I was pretty happy with that! Tasted good too. Staff was super friendly and the prices are very good. I'd probably come back when in the area just because the staff was so friendly. When you travel for a living, a friendly restaurant staff is major plus. And...a 99 cent Margherita doesn't hurt either. Nice relaxing dinner at the bar. read more

Let's start off with saying they don't take reservations. My food was cold when I got it and my guests burger smelled funny. The refried beans were too salty. The waiter was pushy but the manager was nice. I will not be coming back here again. read more

Absolutely the best wings in town. Better than Buffalo's Reef or Buffalo Wild Wings in Fort Walton Beach. Haven't tried their other food in a while, but I wasn't impressed last time (it's been some time so I can't give an honest review on that). The wings are the way to go! read more

I have eaten here 3 times and the first 2 times the food was good and the service was good. The 3rd time however, the food was still good, however I have a problem with whoever put in my debit card. I had written in a tip amount and it was a little less than a full 20% because the service wasn't as good. When I checked my bank account a couple of days later I discovered that someone had helped themselves to adding $3+ to my total and increased their tip. I have tried to call numerous times and have yet to get anyone to answer the phone. I will only pay in cash from now on if I go there but most likely I won't be returning there. read more

Ehhh. Salsa tastes like marinara sauce with some cilantro. Decent food but not really Mexican. More texmex.

We came here after being it was recommended by a friend. Our experience was not very great. I ordered the enchiladas and my husband ordered chicken fajitas tacos only after trying to order carne guisada and having the waitress look at him like he was crazy. We received our food and it was just poorly made and presentation was horrible. The beans were bitter and tasted like chemicals or burnt. My enchilada were so greasy. My husbands tacos were soggy and the chicken was very dry. We will probably not be visiting here again. read more

Food was ok, very salty which usually means over compensating for lack of flavor or just cheap ingredients, and I love salt, so...but very reasonably priced.. read more

A little pricey, and the food isn't the greatest. The service was okay. Had a few problems with the food over the course of several visits. Once there were eggshells in the eggs. Not just one or two, but several, enough that nearly every bite was crunchy. We had several good meals there, but after a certain incident we haven't gone back. My husband found a huge wire from a metal brush (it was about seven inches long) in his food. He showed someone who apologized and his meal was free, which was a good thing because he wasn't interested in finishing it. Other than that, the service is decent and for the most part the food is okay. read more

Love the wings here! The extra spicy cheese dip is also really tasty. If you like margaritas they offer buy one get one free & the medium is more like a fish bowl ;). Great place for Mexican in Crestview. read more

An every Thursday spot for my family as kids eat free and they have non-hispanic items on the menu as well. Staff is wonderful and the food is so quick! 2x1 margaritas and military discounts too! This is our little slice of food paradise! (PS- Nachos Locos is the bomb!!) read more

Disprespected by a server who refused to serve food to our table. Very unprofessional and when brought to the attention of management, they tried to say it was our responsibility to know that someone was employed there who had a personal problem with a person in our party. Grow up, you work in a service industry...it is your JOB to serve. read more

So my family and I hesitated to come here due to it only having a three stars but I'm glad we came because it was Amazing!!! Now the service is very slow but I would go back because the food is so good. read more

Visited Azteca for the 1st time and was very disappointed. I'm Mexican so I am used to a certain level of authenticity. This authenticity level was in the negative digits. However, the place was very clean and our waitress was EXTREMELY courteous and professional. Our tea glasses never allowed to go past 1/2 full by the time she was refilling it. Great service but the food was not great. We will not be going back. read more

I've eaten here twice within the last month. The first time I ordered a chimichanga and couldn't eat it, it was absolutely horrible. The manager said that the regular cook had the day off, that was a Tuesday. Now I'm here on a Saturday and still the food is horrible. They do salsa, chips, and drinks well. I ordered tacos today, trying to keep it simple. To the cook I suggest some fresh garlic, put jalapeños in the pico de gallo, try some Mexican spices such as chili pequene and chili caribe, cumin, just about anything other than what's being used. It's pitiful, two Mexican restaurants in Crestview and they are both below subpar! read more

The food is great and like the other review-the margaritas are off the chain! The prob-the parking lot sucks!
