this place is so much fun very nice crowd of people there. Everyone was friendly. The drinks were really good. Some of the beer was very sweet. I really liked the ginger beer. That one is not too sweet. The band that was playing last night was really good. I will definitely come back to this place. hope you enjoy the photos.

Small stage and room for dancing.

This small brewery is tucked away in the cul de sac of an industrial park in Vista. Look closely to find their tiny sign as you enter the driveway. They don't serve food, but they do have food trucks. On the night I was there, it was a taco truck with fantastic food. I was actually there to see a concert, so I didn't drink any beer. I tried the cucumber, basil seltzer, which was excellent. The music was great with nice sound quality in the room. Great little brewery!

Fantastic Musicians all week. Big fan of Blues Mondays, Open Mic Night Thursdays and weekend live bands! I am a non drinker and still love the place. They treat you like family. Tacos by deathtacos/Taco are incredible! Even other Sunday is Jazz night with stunningly awesome musicians.

Ginally visited Aztec Brewery after our friend invited us to see him play. It is hidden in an industrial area but following Google maps let us to the right place! We brought food from Albertacos since they don't serve food there. However we did find that you can have Leucadia Pizzeria delivered here which is nice. I decided to get a flight of tasters to try out multiple beer selections, this being my first time and all. I will say that the Mexican lager was my favorite. One tip would be to please serve colder beers. I dont know if this was just this instance but I feel like they weren't very cold and I felt rushed to drink them since I hate drinking warm beer. All in all, good place to catch some live music.

The beers and well priced and you can listen to live music ! The bartenders will recommend and let you taste as well

Incredible Live music venue, great beer (loved the grapefruit one!), great people, talented owners, family owned and operated! great food outback too! This place has good vibes and good times, I suggest you support this place often! I'm just visiting the area and they were so welcomin, I even made new friends.

The Band Hangman Saturday night for a show #rockon

We went to see the Band Hangman play over the weekend and wasn't sure what to expect but what a great venue and really good beer. They have a great variety of beers. I am not a big IPA fan but our friends really liked their IPAs and thought they were some of the best they've had so far. My favorite was the Coffee Blonde, with a hint of coffee and not heavy it was very tasty. I also tried the Macaroon which is nut brown ale with coconut and vanilla. I usually go for the darker beers and I love coconut so this was a match made in heaven for me. They have a nice sized stage and the sound is amazing. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Great place to hangout and grab a beer. Therr was food truck there Saturday with some tasty grub. Aztec Brewing has different events (like open mic night on Thursdays) and various bands. Check out their website for the schedule. Cool place for sure

Lovely little brewery offering a very cozy atmosphere a nice stage and great live music (especially on Thursday's open mic evenings). That brewery looks more like a concert venue than a bar! They offer a rather small selection of excellent locally crafted beers. Prices are reasonable, the staff is very friendly and very welcoming. It looks like there is always a food truck in the back of the venue. Despite the location is a bit odd (in the end of a business park), I recommend this small brewery for few cold ones or for a concert with friends. A plus for the Hibiscus Wheat beer.

-great beer -live entertainment -ample parking -friendly staff One of my favorite spots to enjoy craft beer and music. It's the perfect combination of drinks and entertainment! Acts range from jazz to karaoke to theme nights and comedy. My favorite beer (so far!) is the amber. For non-drinkers they offer a great cold brew coffee as well. If you get hungry, food is available from other local businesses which they are happy to refer and help you find.

Oh, Aztec Brewery...definitely a poor (no pun intend) start to the best week of 2016. After my partner in crime arrived into town, I knew it had been a long day for him. My first instinct was to take him to a brewery he had never tried. Aztec Brewery was on the agenda. Well, I thought Aztec Brewery was a brewery, not a small theater with the sound system of Madison Square Garden. I really don't remember much after that (not from drinking, but simply based on the fact that my brain was on fire from the over-amplified noise)...except how loud it was, how I can't believe two people sat right infront of the blaring speakers for an insane amount of time, how the beertenders survived all that noise, and how my partner in crime and I sat two feet from each other at the other end of the theater and still couldn't hear each other. Moto Deli was here...but it's just impossible to stay, eat, and enjoy a few brews. Did I mention the loud sound system? If not, the music was super loud. Wait...beer. Right. Aztec Brewery is responsible for two things- 1. I'll definitely need a hearing aid simply from my short visit to this brewery thanks to the sound system 2. Making a really solid Macaroon Nut Brown. It's delicious. I know I had other beer in my flight but who cared. The Macaroon Nut Brown stole the show. Ask me if I'll be back. What? I can't hear you.

Awesome beer selection!

Are there any gluten-free beers available?

We currently have gluten free seltzers

Are you guys dog friendly?

Yes we love dogs - we have little treats for them too. But they must be on a leash and close to their owners at all times as some people do not love dogs. Have to make everyone happy.

Do they serve wine?

No we cannot legally serve wine because we are a brewing company and this is our tasting room. We often have beer that has been aged in wine barrels though.

Do they serve wine or beer only?

Yup

My husband and I were consistently blown away throughout the meal. We had a few cocktails (one was the verde) and all of them were exceptionally crafted, balanced and well priced. What really shocked us was how good the food was. These were chef driven dishes with phenomenal flavor profiles and execution. Genuinely was blown away by the charred broccoli and the cabbage dish. I would venture to say I preferred the broccoli dish here than to somewhere like Campfire. On that final note, I'll say we typically go to State street or Encinitas/Solana/Oceanside for our date nights but please, give this place a try. They were so so good! 10/10 from two vegetarians

I parked in the garage that's closest (shared with apartments). Prices were reasonable, food was pretty good, beer tasted like to was supposed to. What could have made it better? The service. It was slow and not super pleasant. It didn't seem too busy anywhere in the place so I'm not sure what the delays were. Maybe the server was new, but she didn't seem too happy and forgot my drink. When she finally came back to check on us she asked if I would like to order a drink (umm, I just want to beer that I ordered ten minutes ago, please). I'd go again if others chose to meet up there... and just hope for the best.

We used to be regulars at a different place that offered dancing, but that came to an end after having issues with the owners. It left us so sad, especially after supporting and patronizing them for over three years. We started making the 40 minute drive here and it has been so worth it! Every week we are greeted by the wife owner and she is just so friendly. The DJ is also very friendly. He has a song request sheet out for everyone and actually plays requests!! He knows what the people want and reads the room. The brewery allows outside food and allows us to bring water bottles. This is especially great for line dancers who need water frequently! The dance floor is spacious. I love the small-town, cozy vibes it has. You can walk in and out all night if you'd like, and you can see everyone dancing through the windows. We love that there's parking right in front too. The dancing community that shows up weekly is so friendly and we all have the best time. The bartender/manager approached me and told me I needed to buy a drink or a wristband to sit at a table. I acknowledged him and understood. I am not a drinker, but I was there for the dancing and atmosphere. Two songs later, he came back again and told me I had to buy a drink in order to stay. His tone was rude and not friendly, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Being approached repeatedly as a single woman sitting alone felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. I came out looking for something new to enjoy on a Sunday night and instead felt pressured to leave. As someone involved in other dance communities, I will be sharing how unwelcoming this place is for newcomers--especially those who don't drink.

Just wanted to write this review to say a BIG THANK YOU to Draft Republic in SM for having a…read morespeakeasy pop-up for the movie, Wicked. I'm a huge Wicked fan and was excited to see this event advertised on Yelp. This restaurant was the only one in North County I can think of that acknowledged the movie when it was about to be in theaters. First of all, it was easy to get to based on my GPS but kind of challenging to find their parking lot. I ended up finding a 2-hour parking on N. City Drive which was in walking distance. All I was thinking of while walking up to Draft Republic is that this place is massive. Inside, the hostesses verbally instructed me where to go...came across bowling...arcade games...sports on tvs on my way. Behind the curtains, I entered the room in awe. Draft Republic really went ALL OUT!! The Wicked witchy vibe was sooo magical. I loved the beautifuuul Elphaba/Glinda decorations, cleverly creative themed menu option names, actual movie playing in the background, and the take-home momentos. Nick and staff were super wickedly friendly too. The Wicked Bites, Grimmerie Shots and Wickedest Cocktails were all FANTASTIC!!! I definitely tasted Draft Republic's wickedness. I appreciated everything about this experience....well well done. What a WICKED TIME! I hope there are more speakeasy pop-ups in the near future :-)

I want to start by saying that for whatever my opinion matters (and it should matter very little),…read morethis is just how I came away feeling about this place. Because Draft Republic is a rough place to quantify. The food is pretty good; if going off that alone, this place would easily be four stars in my eyes. But, it's not ... Draft Republic is trying to be a bit closer to like a mini Dave & Buster's (a place I have come pretty close to loathing). With an arcade, a bowling alley, a golfing simulator, a full bar, pretty extensive menu, good music, and a fantastic staff, they really have a lot going for them with a little something to make anyone happy. My own issue deals solely with the cost. Came here with my son, all we did was eat two entrees and an appetizer between us, and did nothing else. With drink and after tax and tip, the cost was well over $90. No games, no play, just burgers (plus fries and poke tacos) for two, costs as much as many Californian's net after a full day of work. When you're used to feeding the whole family for about half as much when going out (or a little more when eating sushi), that price was a bit rough. Still, the food is very good. My son and I each ate The Draft Republic Burger. It was perfectly cooked, juicy, very flavorful, and the toppings were high quality. The fries were crisp and salted well. And the side salad wasn't too bad. Both of us ate our entrees and gave it high marks. We had started with the Tres Poke Tacos, where the Tuna was very tasty, steeped in a flavorful marinade, and felt nice and fresh. Definitely a good starter. And the restaurant itself is gorgeous. A lot of space, beautifully furnished, kind of industrial meets art deco with some new age greenery architecture thrown in. I like it a lot. But, as an aging Gen-X'er, who used to go to arcades back in the day, and hates what new arcades have become, the amenities are under appreciated by me. All of that pads the price tag a bit out of what I am willing to pay just for dinner. Which may not be fair to Draft Republic, but that's where it left me.

Inexplicably, my kids love beavers, and so when we were staying in Carlsbad for the night and looking for a place to eat, how could we not visit a place called Belching Beaver? We couldn't not! And so we did. It turns out, Belching Beaver is a very family-friendly brewery, with lots of arcade games, lawn games, and an extremely laid-back atmosphere. I wasn't going to get a beer, but then I saw that the brewery did a collaboration with the Deftones to create an IPA called Phantom Bride. I had to get a pint. Chino Moreno made me do it! It was citrusy and refreshing, and just the thing to enjoy while sitting on the outdoor picnic tables. Belching Beaver offers your average pub food. My kids got chicken tenders and fries, and mac and cheese with fries. I got a poke bowl, which sounds like a risky choice at a brewery, but it was actually really good and fresh!
