Mediocre at best... Came here on a holiday only to find out they weren't serving their lunch menu. Plus no one told us our table would be dinged a gratuity prior to showing up. We had five at our table... Servers were friendly. Food needed flavor and was super expensive. Portion size was not impressive for what you pay for. The bill came and seemed a little shady. The gratuity was added, then you're taxed on that amount. Save your money.

High end Indian cuisine. I really enjoy Indian food, but I ordered the salmon tikka which was a high end take on the dish and it was a huge miss for me - dry salmon, small portion, disappointing. But I also tried some appetizers which were legitimately good. Overall I think I enjoy home style low key takes on Indian food more than what Azitra offers.

Visited Azitra Indian Culinary Nirvana with friends for a birthday dinner. This was my first time here and the atmosphere is really cute. Has a nice ambiance about it and the food was very tasty. I ordered the seared coconut scallops and the sauce they sat in was so good. Nice sized scallops also. I will definitely be going back. The waiter was helpful and patient with us ordering as well. Friend and I had a celebratory birthday lunch today. Had a reservation for 11:30, when the restaurant opens, but place didn't get too busy til about 12:15. Dining room is very attractive with a separate bar area. I ordered appetizer of fried shaved Brussels sprouts and garlic naan accompanied by raita. Both were hot and delicious. My friend ordered goat curry and I had shrimp tikka masala. Both were accompanied by steamed white rice and a basket of hot naan for mopping up the sauces. Delicious! Both entrees were accompanied by either soup or salad. The soup of the day was lentil, which I ordered and was looking forward to...it arrived luke warm and quite thin/watery. Can't recommend it. My friend did better with the green salad with mango dressing. My friend was surprised with a free birthday dessert: cheesecake with berry garnish. Nice way to finish a good meal. Service was slow throughout the meal. At peak lunch time the dining room was half full. Please pay more attention! When we finally got the check, it was nearly 2 pm (2 1/2 hrs after we arrived) --glad we didn't have to go back to work. Only downside to a very enjoyable lunch.

Overly lovely aesthetics. Welcoming, politeand helpful staff. The manager came around interacting with customers and asking about the experience. It was nice to meet the Manager and receive feedback about the menu. My server was David who did a great job serving, making suggestions, and checking in very often, almost too often (but it was appreciated). David stayed on top of things! I ordered appetizers. I enjoyed the kabob skewer appetizer. A good protein offering that I thought was flavorful. The chicken was tender. The shrimp tasted good with simple seasoning that didn't overpower the shrimp taste. The lamb could be improved. The flavor was that of lamb. The downside is that I did think it was a bit too chewy. Gobi Manchurian was as expected and what I'm used to. Very good! The portions of the appetizers were very small I do understand this to be a higher-end Indian restaurant. I overly enjoyed the Limoncello cake on the dessert sampler. Very moist and has the right amount of sweetness. The other dessert items were good acquired tastes but I can not recommend them. I would dine at Azitra again. Overall, great experience.

Chana masala, palak paneer, and chutneys

We used to love this place with good food and great drinks, but it has lost its shine and tonight's visit will be our last. Simply put, the food was mediocre. They served us this really strange daily chaat that was just chopped fruit and puffed rice with tamarind on top. It was inedible, and they did take it off the bill when we asked. We also ordered palak paneer, chana masala, and dal makhani with onion and mango chutneys, raita, and garlic naan. The dinner portions were very small. The cheese in the palaak paneer was hard and dried out. The dal was grainy. The chana masala was diluted with chunks of potatoes. The chutneys were in big portions (almost equivalent in size to the meals), but were missing something. The mango chutney was actually a bit mealy. The naan was hard and dry. We searched for something good to say about this meal, but came up empty. Even the tamarind margarita didn't hit the mark. The service and kitchen were extremely slow. The restaurant was mostly empty, but we only saw our waiter twice and at the end of the meal found out he left early. Such a disappointing night out. We have gotten used to wonderful food at Lime & Lemon and suggest giving them a try.

The ambiance of the restaurant is clean and sheik. White table cloths with cutlery and love the platings! The service is simple and waiters are amiable which makes you feel comfortable. The food is filling! Like my grandma always say better belly buss than let good food waste!!!

When I first sat down and took a look at the wine list, I was hopeful for a good meal. I ordered samosa as appetizer and per recommendation the sea bass as main plus an order of chili garlic naan. First the good. The sea bass was flavorful even though I asked for 4/5 spice level. It's tangy, buttery. On the opposite were the samosa and naan. The samosa was disappointing. I had better home made They were made too far ahead thus lacks moisture inside. Something got mushed together and fried. Naan was meant to be soft and able to soak up all the flavorful sauce on the plate. Instead, they looked and tasted as reheated naan. They were not spongy, porous, but more like thin crust pizza or pitas (see pictures). So I questioned if they were made to order. Service was okay. I waited for sometime before someone offered to take my order. Btw, the restaurant was not busy, probably at 40% capacity. The decor of the restaurant was pleasant. However, I was disappointed when I visited the men's room. Did they run out of $$$ to close up the hole above the mirror and paint the area properly?

Whoo. Bring a big Wallet. And some iron clad tastebuds because you will feel the heat in both places. The staff is nice and attentive and I assume benefit from the high price tag due to their care for the diners. They definitely pay attention. Sort of white glove service. I do think the quality and quantity of the food has changed slightly. Not for the worst, but not exactly the most outrageously drop dead fantastice either. Each time I visit, I come away wishing for more. But as a regular, we still visit, but a little less due to the cost. Once I mentioned our dining companion, a stone cold, hard regular from years and years and years.... that it was her birthday.... (a big one). It was nice to see they joined in on the celebration. Thanking them for that. I think it is best for the budget to visit during lunch. The outdoor patio is nice, but if you have long legs...due to the design of the tables...lends to some uncomfortable dining.

We were treated like royalty from the walk to the table till we walked out after dinner. For drinks i wanted a wine. Specifically grenache grape wine. The lovely sommelier said they only had a blend but still great from the cotes du rhone region. It was a nice compromise. We proceeded to order for our 3 year old, some buttered noodles. They were very bland with oily butter at the bottom. Maybe they could've seasoned it well? I ordered the crab cakes. They were phenomenal. Thier sauce was unique but maybe needed to be loser? It was buttery and delicious. My husband ordered the steak 104 south. It very underwhelming unfortunately for the price. Good, but not something going back for. Overall the service was impeccable, the food was decent, but i just don't know about coming back. It just feels like you can get better steak for about the same prices elsewhere. I would also suggest a different bread option.

I was walking around Brier Creek on Wednesday and spotted this new restaurant where Braza used to…read morebe, so I walked in to check it out. It seemed nice, and I looked at the menu, then decided it would be a good spot to come back to later. I made a reservation for Saturday at 4:45 PM, so we wouldn't be eating too late. As we were on time for the reservation, and the restaurant opened at 4 pm, there were less than 10 tables seated with people. When we arrived there was another party in from of us, one with 12 people, 2 tables of 6 they were saying. The hostess & manager were saying that their reservation was cancelled, yet the people were saying that they did not receive anything saying the reservation was cancelled. in the meantime a host showed us to a table. We were walked all the way to the back of the restaurant against the back wall and directed to a 2-top. I asked the host if we could have a bigger table. The host we and told the manager that we wanted a bigger table. The manager paid us a visit, and had a very interesting conversation. Manager Greg came over and stated that he had 360 reservation, and it wasn't possible to move us to a bigger table. If he moved us it would screw up his whole reservation system because he had 400 reservations, and walk-ins to contend with. (Yes, the number went up from 360 to 400) So he said it just wasn't possible to accommodate us. Then he left. I told the host that was still there that the manager was full of BS. Because the restaurant was empty, and we would be done eating before the dinner crowd, so we had enough time to sit at a larger table. Plus I pointed out that the manager contradicted himself. Since he said he had to plan for walk-ins then he could plan for us to sit at a larger table, so he was full of BS. The host did go straight to the manager and I am assuming told him what we said because the manager came running straight back saying he just had a cancellation so he could sit us at a larger table. He moved us to the 4-top in the far back corner of the restaurant by the emergency exit. As we were sitting in the back corner of the restaurant we were able to see almost everybody that came in, and where they were seated. There were numerous couples that came in and seated at 4-tops with plenty of 2-tops open. But none of them had to request a larger table when they were shown to their seats. Maybe it it was just an off night, and not typical behavior in the restaurant, but why were most of the non-white people sitting along the outer edge, and back of the restaurant. I mean, there were less than 10 tables in the restaurant when we arrived, and we were put in the far back corner by the exit. The only worse location is sitting right next to the bathroom. We were both pointing that out all night long as we saw people come in, and where they were seated. Yes, there was an occasional exception, but not really. The reason why I wanted a larger table was not because I am too good to sit at a 2-top, but I really only prefer to sit at one with I am alone due to the constraints when you have several plates on the table. Before we visited I already knew what I wanted, I planned to order the tomahawk steak. I have ordered them at other restaurants, and if you have you already know that a tomahawk steak takes up a whole 2-top by itself. And with it served family style with the sides in their own separate dish you need a lot of table space, and then each person needed to have their own dining place. Why, because we are civilized and don't eat from the serving dish like cave people. Not sure if we were just put off and disgusted with the way Greg treated us, but the food was not that tasty. We all know how out mood can affect perception, but not impressed. We ordered the tomahawk cooked medium-well. Normally I get all my steaks medium, but with the massive two feet of bone on this, I could have ordered it well-done, and still had half come out medium. The half close to the bone was rare, while the out edge from the bone was just medium-well. The steak did have a great sear to it I will say. The sautéed green beans were crisp with a snap to them. The mashed potatoes were decent. I will say for a tomahawk, it should come with at least two sides instead of just one. Plus the sides were tiny, almost the sizes you were get at normal southern restaurant. At $9 per side, they were 1/4 the size of Ruths' Chris and Fleming, for 2/3 the price, so no value. We did have an amazing server by the name of Brandy. She stating the tomahawk is normally cut in the kitchen, but I requested it cut tableside, and she was happy to accommodate me. Thank you Brandy, you were really nice. If you do decide to dine here, make reservations and ask to be seated in Brandy's area. If you see Greg, be prepared to be walked past every empty table and placed out of the way in the back corner where nobody will notice you are there. By the way, I really did like the nice table lamps. 2025-25 #576

The menu online as I write says the 12 oz. 28 day aged ribeye is $29.89 including grilled mushrooms, roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. I recall being slightly disappointed that baked potatoes were no longer an option, but the food was so good, that was not an issue. Service was good, the food was good. I thought it was worthy of the occasion. I have been to this store on at least 6-8 previous visits, although I did not usually get steak. I usually got one of their sandwiches. I liked all those I've had. There is another CAH closer to me that gets terrible reviews. It's worth it to me to drive a little further and go to a store that has given me good food and service on multiple occasions.

Carolina Ale House Review - 3/5…read more It was our last day in town, and we wanted something quick while still getting a taste of some local favorites. Since Carolina Ale House was close to where we were staying, we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere definitely had that classic ale house vibe, with plenty of local beers on tap along with other familiar beer options. It felt like a nice casual spot to unwind and grab a bite. We all ordered something different, which was nice for variety. I had the hibachi shrimp, while the others had tacos with chips, and my son kept it simple with chicken tenders and fries. The food overall was okay, but my dish was a little disappointing. Everything on my plate--between the soup, pilaf rice, broccoli, and shrimp--seemed to carry almost the exact same flavor, so I didn't really get to enjoy the distinct hibachi taste I was expecting. One highlight for me was definitely the spicy margarita--the flavor was delicious. My husband also really enjoyed the "Ale Yeah" 16 oz. Bloody Mary along with one of the local North Carolina draft beers, which was a nice touch. Our server, Trevan, did a great job taking care of us. He was accommodating, attentive, and made sure we had what we needed throughout our visit, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd rate this place a 3/5. It was a decent stop for a casual meal and drinks, but the food could have had a bit more flavor separation and wow factor
