He picked up the phone call immediately and ended up coming over at the end of his work day as it turns out we reside in the same neighborhood! Brian installed a ceiling fan and 4 recessed lights in my master bedroom. He came highly recommended by a friend and if you're looking for an electrician, look no further. Excellent communication, reasonable pricing, knowledgable, efficient and he left the room immaculate. I could not be more pleased - the fan was mounted exactly centered to the room and the lights perfectly set, not too close to the walls, etc. No holes to patch, no dings to repair - just a beautiful new fan in my well lit room. I called Brian to help with an outside power issued in our gazebo. He got back to me right away and came out and realized that the problem was with the underground line and would have to come back. He did not charge for his consultation, which I thought was very honest. He always showed up on time, was very communicative, I felt had reasonable prices, and was able to fix a pool light issue that I thought was just always going to be broken for ever. He even checked the yard to make sure the power was safe for the kids, and put in a new plug for us at no charge. A real stand-up professional who does quality work. We had some electrical issues at my daughter's condo which affected use of the kitchen. Our long-time electrician no longer does residential repairs, so we had to find a new electrician. After a number of emails and phone messages generated only a few potentials, we received an email and a phone call from Brian, indicating that he was finishing up a few appointments, but could stop by and see if the kitchen issues were a quick fix. True to his word, he showed up when he said, checked out the issues, and said it was an easy fix, which he proceeded to take care of in no time. Since the charge is by the hour, he indicated he could take care of a few other easy items on our electrical to-do list. Everything was completed satisfactorily, and at reasonable cost. He even drove to our house to look at our own list of electrical to-do's and give us a quote. The quote was emailed within a day, and again, was reasonable. And he gave us some great advice about the electrical outlet needed for different types of electric fireplaces, as my daughter is thinking about having one installed at her place. All of this from a last-minute, quick stop-by. He is a rock-star, and I've put him in my phone contact list as our new electrician!!!! read more

We called Brian after getting a bid from another electrician and asked him to come out and take a look at our subpanels, main panel and breakers (we've had sporadic issues over the years). He was very professional, very honest, and was able to explain things in a manner I could understand (always a plus!) He basically said there was nothing he would recommend doing at this time - how great is that! But to call him should we experience any issue again, and he'd be right out...which I definitely will. It's a great feeling when you find someone with so much integrity and that you feel you can really trust with something as complicated and important as your home's electrical wiring. 100% recommend. read more

We needed to have a new chandelier installed, relocating its placement away from the previous light. We also had two hallway lights and bathroom fixture we wanted installed during the same visit. Brian was quick to respond to my call and scheduled us in right away. He did an excellent job on all four installs, and the chandelier install was tricky one with our floor plan. We originally called a big company (Mister Sparky), because our dishwasher and adjacent outlet stopped working. Mister Sparky quoted us $8440 to replace the entire electrical panel including new breakers, etc. We felt this was a little over the top. Based on a recommendation from a friend, we called Brian Azevedo, who came out within the hour, and told us the only problem was a faulty circuit breaker. He left to get the new part needed, and fixed everything quickly and professionally while explaining everything he was doing. He also helped us troubleshoot an issue in the living room which we discovered was due to the incorrect bulb type in our recessed lighting. I know I will use Brian now any time I have an issue with our electric, as he was honest, fair, and charged us 2.3% of what Mister Sparky wanted to charge us! read more

Although I think Brian only works from word of mouth, I can't help but give a great review to get the word out. I just moved into an older house in Oakland, and I asked Brian to come out to look at a couple of items that were on the list of the Home Inspection sheet when you purchase a house. I thought I would be spending thousands on completely changing the electrical panel on their suggestion, but he said that it looked fine. He did a couple of items having to do with grounding and was very efficient, on time, reminded me of appt, explained everything well. Highly recommend! read more
