Finally tried this place out and it's small and cute. I ordered food to go. The staff was friendly and service was fast. I ordered the quesabirria tacos and a side of consommé. The tacos were delicious. Very flavorful and I like all the additions they gave you to put on your taco. I did not care for the salsa which is a bummer because salsa is a good enhancement to tacos. Great Food and Service I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and I'm so glad I did. This little hidden gem of a restaurant is serving up some delicious tasting tacos and burritos.. The restraunt is small about 5 rables but very clean I really enjoyed my meal. The asda tacos were packed with meat, flavorful and tender and moist. My lunch companion really enjoyed the Birria burro, he said it was the best burrito he's had in a while and the burrito was large! I want to give this place a 3 1/2. The reason for this is my quesabirria taco was good. The rest of my family did like theirs. The issue was the rice and beans. My son love them I was not a big fan. It is a small place which is fine. We actually came in perfect timing as we were able to get a table. The price was a little bit much but on taco Tuesday, it is worth it honestly cheaper to just buy the tacos and the drink then to do one of their meal deals. The best Al pastor I've had so far. Very flavorful and tender. The pizzadilla is stupid, it can feed an army and its packedddd with meat. The fiesta fries are unheard of, it's the largest French fry contraption ever. All of the food was great. Staff was truly incredible. Love it. read more

So I just wanna say, I personally love the original location and I used to order the tacos when they had the little set up in laveen years ago. This place on Indian school and Santa Fe trail had to have an off day. The food was extremely salty. I ordered the 3 taco plate that comes with rice and beans for 8.75 not including tax which is a fair price. The rice was salty and chicken. The beans are dark (I've never seen pinto beans this dark) and kind of sweet?? I'm still confused on whether or not I like it. My beans didn't come with cheese or my husbands but the side of beans did for my kids. The Birria and carne Asada were actually very good. I'm a little disappointed in the quality I received however I'll definitely come back and retry as I have loved them since their taco stand. read more

I ordered three quesabirria tacos and was only able to finish one. There wasn't any flavor to the meat. When I bit into the second taco, I bit right into what I'm assuming is an artery. I threw my food away after that. The Avondale location seems to be a hit and miss whenever I go. Some times it's good but usually, it's just okay. If I didn't live so far west, I'd only visit the Phoenix location as that one has never disappointed. read more

I'm being considerate by giving this place 1 star. My family and I have given this place so many tries and every single time it disappoints and today was just the cherry on top. I did a phone order and the girl told me it would be a 45 minute wait, okay cool no biggie. I sent my boyfriend to get the food and the girl said I did not call in an order... okay no big deal he placed an order and waited another 20 min. He gets homes we start eating and as I am going to take a bite I noticed a wad of HAIR.... Very disappointed definitely will not be coming back. 3 stars at most. Inside is so hot, plan on taking your food to go. The lady at the register wasn't friendly at all, maybe because I don't tip for fast food. And it was $45 for a birria pizza 3 of us shared. The outside was soggy and it had an aftertaste of churros? Seemed like they used the same grill to cook some sort of churro and then just didn't clean it before doing a birria quesadilla. Review is really for the food. Went her last week for lunch and got some tacos to go. 1. Asada. This was probably the best one but that is not saying much. Probably the best in flavor. 2. Pollo. It does not really seem grilled to me and and god damn is this meat salty. 3. Birria. This one was kind of OK but I found it to be boring and bland. Even with all the liquid in the taco the meat seemed kind of dry. 4. Barbacoa. About the same as the Birria. It was worse for me due to the insane amount of salt and chipotle peppers in this meat. The tortillas were decent and the salsas for the tacos were bland and nt very spicy at all. at $3.xx a taco this place is a hard pass for me. Omgggg this place is SO GOOD. I ordered the birria, consome, rice, and beans. Everything had so much flavor! The rice was soft and fluffy, not mushy at all. The beans were thicccc and had so much flavor with a hint of spice. The meat on the tacos was so soft, moist, and full of flavor, and the consome took it to the next freaking level. SO MUCH FLAVOR. I drank that stuff straight from the cup. The food is on the salty side but not to the point where it's bad. I like salty food so I was happy with it. I ordered it off uber eats and the driver was quick so all the food was hot and fresh. I ate every single bite. I was so impressed I called and asked for the manager. I scared the poor guy haha, he thought I was calling to complain but it was so good I felt compelled to literally call them and tell them so and to say THANK YOU for making me such a delicious meal!!!
