They helped me design a system that would be right for me. They didn't oversell me. The installation went smoothly except for one hiccup. The installer didn't check to see where the bathroom vent pipe was located. After he cut the hole for the charge controller panel he found it. So instead of putting it in a better spot, it wound up with a surface mount box. It's ugly. UPDATE: They called in another installer. He found many serious wiring and installation problems and had to remove and reinstall most of the system! Well, all was good until this week when we took the camper in a road trip. We started noticing a strong odor from the black tank. After much searching and aggravation, we discovered the the original installer they had working on our camper had damaged the seal around the soil stack. Owner states he is no longer using that installer.

We paid the $250 for the consultation and had two guys come out to look at the system. I also wanted to get some extra batteries installed and a few other upgrades to make sure we were good for off grid living. Everything seemed to be hooked up correctly is what the two guys from new grid determined. I basically only received a printout of the user manuals from them, and certainly never got a follow up on any upgrades. Seven months later our system failed due to an underpowered inverter (which fried) and our batteries also were unable to hold a charge and were ruined as well. The company who is now upgrading me immediately noticed several areas that were not hooked up correctly including how the bank of batteries were wired. I just find it sad how some companies talk the talk on the phone and just fall very short after your check is cashed. I definitely doubt their solar knowledge and I would recommend taking your money to a more experienced company.
