We went into the store and talked to Cosimo. He was easy to talk to, explained the pros and cons of different surfaces, and answered all of our questions. As soon as the product was in, we were contacted and scheduled the work to be done. The job was replacing three bedrooms with laminate, however after they pulled up the carpeting, they found two spots that needed to be leveled. This was done quickly and didn't end up adding any time to the job, they actually finished before they said they would be done, even with the extra work that needed to be done to level and grind down the concrete! Cosimo and his crew were excellent to work with and I honestly would encourage you to reach out to them if you are thinking about changing floors OR if you need ideas/suggestions! They evidently sat my file cabinet in the glue, which they then sat on the new flooring, leaving a huge sticky mess that I cannot get off my new floor. They knocked a chunk of the floorboard out under my kitchen cabinets. My sinks were both left with sticky glue in them I am still trying to scour out 2.5 months later. I have called. But I don't get through and don't get return calls. i think maybe a class action lawsuit is in order. Is anyone else interested in filing a class action lawsuit? My mother visited J & B Carpets on a Friday afternoon and selected an in stock carpet. The room was measured on Saturday morning. They installed the carpet on Monday!!!! Mom is thrilled with the carpet! Her granddaughter who is now staying there assures me the carpet is soft, well-padded and beautiful. The price was very reasonable and the customer service is excellent. I am so happy I sent my mom there and not to some big box store where she would be just another number.
