Probably it is a decent service as some reviewers suggested, but I experienced a very poor customer service. I called to request a service, and the lady who answered asked me to wait online. After 5 minutes, she finally got back to me and asked if I was an existing customer. Finding out that I was a new customer, she said that they were not accepting any new customers at the moment and hang up. I was beginning to say that she could've made it clear at the beginning without making me wait, but she didn't even listen. It felt very impolite. The business owner may consider training their staff on communication and customer service. read more

I couldn't be happier with Zia and AZ Plumbing. When my water heater broke I struggled to find a plumber who would come out on a Friday night of a holiday weekend. Don't believe the others when they say 24/7 service! AZ was the sixth company I called. They came out well within an hour's time (they are in Springfield, as am I) and they made an emergency fix and returned Tuesday to replace the unit. Zia & team did an amazing job replacing my hot water boiler earlier this year with a new top rated brand (State Proline 50 gal) after my old boiler started leaking in the spring. Zia used state of the art solderless copper connectors, I was fascinated by the new tech. He also reconnected my refrigerator's cold water supply line free of charge (it was not part of his original estimate and he said he wouldnt charge me). We called AZ Plumbing for a quote on tankless water heaters. They came on time and were very helpful explaining the units, installations, and trouble shooting some of our more challenging spaces. In the meantime, our bathtub had completely stopped draining so I asked if this could also be a service cal (if they had time). They solved the tub problem faster than any other plumber we've had our to help us in the past 7 years and for a great price. So, we called them again about repairing a constantly leaking, 70 year old spigot. Again, he did a great job, was clean, thorough, and quoted a great price. Highly recommend this very professional company. I needed a cutoff valve replaced and the only way to get to it was through this little 6"x6" access panel. I had priced out a larger replacement panel expecting them to need to cut the drywall, but Zia looked at it and said 'I like a challenge, I think we can do this without damaging your wall.' True to his word, the job was complete 60 minutes later. Super courteous & friendly, they used shoe covers when walking around my home and laid down a tarp to catch any mess they made. They left the room spotless! I can't remember the last time I didn't have to clean up anything after a job. Decided to get a new water heater, along with replacing my air conditioning. When HVAC person came and brought a plumber, there was a leak that afternoon into the unit below. So I determined to find a new plumber, and a friend recommended AZ Plumbing. "I have a guy that we use all the time for plumbing issues. His name is Zia. His company is AZ Plumbing and his number is 703-850-1290. He is fair and does a great job." I've since had Mr. Zia perform two jobs. The first was to fix the toilet that the previous plumber "adjusted", leading to a leak. I got three bids to replace the fill valve and the shut off valve. AZ Plumbing was the least expensive, and they came the next day. Job completed satisfactorily. The next week I had Zia replace my water heater. His bid was reasonable (slightly below the other bid). We discussed the pros and cons of replacing the 75-gallon tank with a 50-gallon tank (my preference). He and another employee installed the water heater, and replaced all the PVC piping with copper piping. I am completely satisfied with the work, and the professionalism. I had a sewer blockage in my home and called many different plumbers. AZ Plumbing gave me a less than market estimate on the phone my first call. Unfortunately, the sewer access was behind drywall thanks to the contractor that finished my basement. I called and spoke with Zia (late in the evening no less) about the problem, expecting to pay $100s more to have the toilet removed/replaced to access the sewer line. To my surprise and delight he told me there would be no additional charge. Zia showed up the next morning as scheduled, snaked out the drain, and ...... without prompting or charge, fixed a leaky shower head and lowered the water level in the toilet to the recommended level, all to save me water. My whole experience with AZ and Zia was pleasant and undramatic. I will be telling all my friends what a great plumbing service I found, almost a miracle in today's culture. Highly recommended! I mistakenly went with Cardinal Plumbing the first time around they showed up with only a 50 ft snake.... Erm nope that won't work! Our basement was flooded multiple times due to a slow sump pump. I called AZ plumbing and he scheduled a service the next day. He knew what the problem was by just telling him what the problem was on the phone. He came the next day, installed a 2nd sump pump and installed a back up (alarm) complimentary just to help prevent this problem again. One appt to assess the job to be done, 2nd appt to do the job wrong and had to come back a third time to redo and watch a video on how to install a part correctly. 2nd and 3rd appointments an hour late. By the time I was ready to risk it, the water was draining so slowly that I needed immediate help. AZ Plumbing, LLC was the first to answer my yelp search and the easiest one to reach. I wasn't too surprised, then, to get service in less than 45 minutes and have the work completed in about the same amount of time. Zia, one of the owners as well as a technician, was efficient, and careful to use appropriate safety measures. The price for the disposal (an upgrade from the one I had) and the total cost was less than it would have cost me to purchase the disposal myself and have it installed.
