Jason and the Top Leaf crew did a fantastic job of removing 3 horrible Sissoo trees whose roots had…read morestarted to cause damage to things like our driveway and pipes. They got this part of the job done and ground down the stumps while also drilling holes (and placing a product to help the roots die) to prevent them from sending out bazillions of baby trees which they still sent out some and we dealt with them as instructed. Sissoos are resilient as all get out and didn't want to go down without a fight. Because of this we had to wait a bit to plant our new trees, beautiful Red Push Pistaches as suggested by Jason. His quote process was easy and the price we paid was below some other quotes we'd received, but fair considering all the work they would be doing. When the team came back out to plant our 5 new trees (3 in the back and 2 in the front), they removed the now dead stumps and the little cute trees were planted quickly and efficiently. The crew cleaned up everything, and both our front and backyards looked great! It's been almost 4 years now since they removed the old invasive ones and planted our new trees and they are thriving. Jason had great suggestions for which trees would do well, weren't messy all year, whose roots wouldn't be destructive, would do well in our hot dry climate, and look beautiful pretty much year round. As they continue to grow, they remind me of gorgeous park trees that I love. Also great is that they don't require a lot of care! Very disappointed in this company and their customer service or lack thereof. They said they came…read moreout to spray our olive trees (to mitigate olive production) on said date and sent a bill. Problem is, no one came to the door to announce they were here on that date/time, nor is there any Ring doorbell alerts, which would have also gone off had someone been on my patio moving or covering furniture, nor did my camera (which is in the exact olive tree) pick up any activity or show anyone here. There was no note or card left that they performed a service and on top of that, my olive tree has produced more olives this year than ever before. I've tried with multiple emails to ask them to prove they were here to actually spray the trees, given all of the above, and she says her "tech signed in" and that the work was performed but has no other proof that the work was done. Why is her tech not on my camera? Why did he/she not ring to the doorbell to announce their arrival and ensure my pets were inside to not get covered with chemicals? Why did he/she not cover my furniture to also protect that? Why did he/she not leave anything to say work was performed? Why is my olive tree producing more olives than ever before? We used another company several years back who did all of the above. In fact they emailed the day before saying we needed to make sure our pets were indoors during spraying because the chemical can be toxic to pets if inhaled. The other company rang the doorbell to announce they were here and then moved all our patio furniture together and covered it with a cloth to protect and all of that certainly made noise - meaning I knew it was happening and it was quite the production. NONE of that happened this time. Yet they keep sending the bill telling us we owe for the "work done". One of 3 possibilities here: they did not perform the work, their tech is invisible and a master at eluding cameras, or they did not do it to code by even announcing they were here, not covering anything and most importantly, not ensuring my pets were inside. Do not recommend!
