During the inspection, I specifically pointed out areas that needed attention, including the ones shown in the attached photos. When the cleaning team arrived two days later, I reiterated these same requests to ensure they were addressed. However, after the cleaners left, it was clear that many of the specified areas had not been cleaned, including the ones in the attached photos (taken post-service). Additionally, the dust inside the kitchen cabinets, which I also had highlighted, remained untouched. I reached out via email but received no response, prompting me to follow up with a phone call. While they offered to re-clean the space, I was disappointed with the overall service and instead requested a partial refund. They refunded $50 of the $240 I paid... Unfortunately, my experience with Smart Choice Cleaning fell far below expectations. Not only was the cleaning service inadequate, but their customer service response was also unsatisfactory. BEWARE! DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY UNTIL YOU SEE THEIR WORK FIRST!…read more Booked this company for a one-time cleaning while on vacation based on reviews and Angie's list recommendation. I was told cleaning would include windows, baseboards, appliances, floors, and all surfaces.  Was contacted upon completion of "cleaning" and paid $250 via Venmo.  When I returned home from vacation, I immediately contacted Marcos to inform him that it was obvious that the kitchen floor was not mopped, stove top had not been cleaned, baseboards and windows were never touched. Marcos confirmed that these items should have been cleaned and responded "I heard they got out really tired on that day,  I totally understand why they would miss those spots". He offered to send two employees right away, but when I asked if they could come the following day as I was exhausted from our return home, I never received a response. I attempted two more times to reach out via text to resolve the issue. It's been two days and I have yet to receive a response.  Extremely disappointed with the quality of service and lack of communication.

Booking was easy, and appointments were available within the week. The cost was essentially $100/hour for two hours, with an additional charge for every 30 minutes added. Two cleaners arrived on time within the provided arrival window. Overall, the cleaning was good. They asked if there was anything I wanted them to focus on, and I requested the floors and baseboards. They did a great job with both. They also dusted thoroughly and moved smaller pieces of furniture to clean underneath and behind them, which I really appreciated. Everything was put back in place afterward. My only critique is that they could have paid a little more attention to detail when wiping down some surfaces. There were still a few smudges on white surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom. Overall, I'd hire them again, especially when I need a quick turnaround.

Then I got a quote via text for the size of my apartment and it was cheaper than other quotes I received, so I went for it. I haven't had a cleaner for a while so I even opted for a higher cost "deep clean". I left my door u locked and trusted them to clean without me present to watch (since it was recommended), but as soon as they arrived I was told via text that they need to upcharge me $50+ to do the services I ordered. They said they cannot finish the job in the 2 hours they had allocated for a "deep clean". So I asked how much time do they allocate for a regular clean? More than 1 hour I hope because I have never had a cleaner spend less than 2 hours on a regular clean. I assume for a deep clean they should allocate at least 3 hours, if not more. However, it was recommended and I truly needed a deep clean so I agreed to it. When I came back I will tell you that not only were deep clean items not done as promised (I asked for a list of things deep clean would include), such as the oven, the fridge, and basic kitchen countertop appliances, but the door frames, the floorboards, and the lamps were also not wiped. Furniture was not moved. I told them they didn't have to change sheets (part of their regular service), but somehow they still didn't have time. Why? They organized. A lot of organization from putting my kids' plushies in a row to putting my rugs in a different place etc. everything was moved and put in a new place--which I of course had to move back because I have my preferences. I'm not sure if there's some confusion on what the definition of a deep clean is between the scheduler and the actual team who came out to clean, but they did not deliver on what was promised and had the audacity to upcharge me for it. Then I find that they also ruined my kitchen countertop, which I will be paying for when I move out. I caution you not to try this company as I certainly will not make the mistake again
