A few months ago, I was diagnosed with cataracts and he discussed with me the surgical options. He recommended the Light Adjustable Lens. After watching a couple of videos regarding Light Adjustable Lens, I opted to have this done. I opted to do monovision so that I would never have to wear glasses again. I would hopefully see both far and near. I had the surgeries done about a month apart at his surgical clinic. The surgical clinic's staff creates a very clean and comfortable environment and I felt at ease. After the surgeries and after "locking in" the final adjustment, I now have 20/15 vision in my dominant eye, and I can read the smallest print on Dr. Kootman's card. It is amazing. I highly recommend the Light Adjustable Lens. Dr. Kootman is very exact, very professional and very caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Kootman and would also highly recommend the Light Adjustable Lens.

He explained everything I needed to know about cataracts and the cataract surgery. I had cataract surgery performed on both eyes and could not have been happier with the results, I would recommend Dr Kootman to anyone who has cataracts or any eye problems that need reviewing. The office staff were professional and courteous. Every time I went in and needed another appointment they accommodated all appointment dates and times that I needed. You will be happy with this office location and Dr Kootman.

The technicians in the office are also great and knowledgeable. Sometimes the office gets behind but that is because they fit in unplanned procedures instead of making the patient come back for another appointment; personally, I appreciate this. I would not trust my eyes to any other doctor; Dr. Patel is the greatest.

I want that for a follow up after surgery. I was also in a car accident. The doctor did not think there was any relationship to the inflammation in the eye. They ended up getting a check out of my settlement for $1000 and we've been going back-and-forth. Insurance paid for everything. I informed the doctor I had a workplace injury. He did not take it serious even though he had all the doctors notes and passed notes from previous doctors with no other issues except for my underline glaucoma. He was subpoenaed when they asked him about the scarring in the eye he said there was none and then I reminded him, and then he did admit there was scarring. I went to another doctor showed her all the doctors notes and she sat down, took several days and put all the different information together instead of my Doctor putting all the notes together and going over everything with me. He keeps telling me I did not have any issues related to my injury, especially after another doctor stated this because he does not want to deal with Workers Comp in injuries. He also knows the doctors that treated me in the past and since they all know each other, this is a big problem! The Billing office and they tried saying the payment for $1000 was part of his council to the ICA. I informed them this was not $1000 fee and it was something that should not have went to the doctor it should have came back to me for my accident I had in my settlement. Dr. Reiss nothing to do with my settlement nor they should not have $1000 and being dishonest about it after my health insurance paid for my treatment and I paid my co-pays. I do not know what they're trying to pull, but they are not working in good faith.

Staff is great, friendly and felt comfortable talking with them. Eye examination was very thorough, tech, I think her name is Jessica, very nice and professional. This exam was most complete I'd ever had. Dr H (Haufman) examined and explained what was going on and reassured me. He sent list of drops to use and other instructions. This will be my vision go to now. No worries about wearing an eye patch saying, 'argh', kidding. Just very relieved, I'd been dealing with problem for awhile. Thanks B D P!

Don't go here! Save yourself the irritation & frustration, find another office if you want a traditional ophthalmologist who includes everything in the charge.

My opinion of Dr. Joshua Holland is the exact opposite of the care I received from him while I was his patient. I was a patient for many years. I recently had an awakening and realized his care was substantially sub-standard now that I am a patient of a competent and compassionate provider who cares about their patients enough to spend more than five minutes in an office visit. Someone who listens to what I have to say, and spends enough time to gather all of the information. My honest opinion of Dr. Holland is that it was a huge inconvenience and waste of his time seeing me as his patient. It usually seemed to me that he was already on his way out of the exam room after five minutes. The symptoms of the final reason for which I sought help from him that was not addressed, nor explored for further informaion.I can say more about his lack of concern for me as his patient, but to be more succinct,I cannot in good conscience recommend him as a physician to anyone. I am thankful that I did find a very comprehensive treatment philosophy from my new physician. And yes, my significant current health issues is one of the reasons I sought help, from Dr. Holland. It's my opinion, to which I am entitled, after having been one of his patients and a consumer, for many years, that his services as a licensed physician, were not satisfactory and did not meet a level of compassion I expect in a physician.
