There is current positive review for this person that looks as though I posted it when I did not. Whoever posted it did so in my name without my permission. My opinion of Dr. Joshua Holland is the exact opposite of the care I received from him while I was his patient. I was a patient for many years. I recently had an awakening and realized his care was substantially sub-standard now that I am a patient of a competent and compassionate provider who cares about their patients enough to spend more than five minutes in an office visit. Someone who listens to what I have to say, and spends enough time to gather all of the information. My honest opinion of Dr. Holland is that it was a huge inconvenience and waste of his time seeing me as his patient. It usually seemed to me that he was already on his way out of the exam room after five minutes. The symptoms of the final reason for which I sought help from him that was not addressed, nor explored for further informaion.I can say more about his lack of concern for me as his patient, but to be more succinct,I cannot in good conscience recommend him as a physician to anyone. I am thankful that I did find a very comprehensive treatment philosophy from my new physician. And yes, my significant current health issues is one of the reasons I sought help, from Dr. Holland. It's my opinion, to which I am entitled, after having been one of his patients and a consumer, for many years, that his services as a licensed physician, were not satisfactory and did not meet a level of compassion I expect in a physician. read more

Worst experience I've had with a doctors office in so long. I've tried to go to this office several times and every time I have an issue. First time they tried having me pay cash when I have insurance. Then they did my blood work wrong when I went to a specialist that they recommended I was told all my numbers where normally. This last time I have been trying to reach the doctor for three days regarding covid and I can barley get a call back and when I do it's by the very sassy/ rude receptionist. I have seen Dr. Holland on and off for over 10 yrs. He and his staff have been exceptionally good to me and I would not hesitate to recommend his clinic. One of the things I appreciate the most about Dr. Holland he is very honest and direct. Perhaps that is why some have had a bad experience-he doesn't pull any punches and doesn't hesitate to tell you when he is uncomfortable dealing with certain medical situations. Been here quite a few times. Dr holland is nice and attentive. Listens well. Office can be a bit hectic from time to time- busy. They are pretty consistent with staff tho. Not a high turnover. They do labs there now too which is convenient. He definitely makes sure i get the referrals to get to where i need to go. He voices his concerns. Dr Josh Holland is an amazing doctor! He's the type to get it right the first time! Today old feelings of depression came up and I remembered the only doctor I used to see and got things right was Joshua. I don't know what it is about him but he seems to know which prescriptions work even if you think it's something else causing it; he has a strong intuition. People need to appreciate their doctors more. They have tons of regulations and hell to deal with all this paperwork and demands from government and they look after all of us but who's going to look after doctors. I feel like they get the shaft in society. Everyone is quick to talk badly about a doctor but before you do think about it objectively that they are slammed with tons of pressure from govt yet they are required to be in person for every Appt for every patient. Dr Holland is an outstanding, terrific doctor, he is a good listener and caring person. He takes his patients concerns to the heart. I've known him for over 20 years, and he is always getting better for what he does. Always, always he applies latest technology in his diagnosis and pursues aggressive approach . You visit him once if needed, and he becomes your family favorite doctor for life. I highly recommend Dr Holland, and you won't be sorry to do so. Having blood test lab done at his office is a big plus. Recently I had severe pain in my both upper thighs, and within 4 days of taken my prescription, I'm back to normal life, pain free. The office is new & clean. Front staff was funny and somewhat attentive, one in particular was, the other ones kind of ignored us patients. I explained it was a routine visit, but I had some concerns and also I was sick. I did get my one concern covered, but barely got examined. And my illness was completely ignored. 2 days later I was at urgent care and on a trifecta of meds for a bronchitis I've developed. I definitely feel this could have been prevented or diagnosed correctly if I had gotten more than a look over with minimal examination. I have seen Dr.Holland as a kid and if I recall correctly he is awesome, but the NP, I would not want to see again. I'll probably just switch doctors all together. I prefer DO's anyways. They seem more attentive and empathetic to their patients. In fact the doc I saw at the urgent care today was a DO. read more

Office staff is rude and dishonest especially Kristina. I was a patient for 3 years then i was dropped for missing a couple appointment which I paid the missed appointment fee for anyways. Before that I was given a refferal to a pain managment office that wasn't excepting new patients and then to another one that took a week to return my phone call. So now I'm stuck in bed sick with no medication trying to find a new Dr that can get me in quick. This is not something I expected from a Dr I have been going to for 3 years. I left this office because they're very rude at the front office especially Christina. I called upset because I was still in a lot of pain and asked what I should do about it. She advised we leave early on fridays so she doesn't know. I feel this office lacks the empathy it requires when dealing with sick or injured patients. I got emotional out of frustration because I was trying to figure out why I paid so much money to get all this testing done and I couldnt even speak to the doctor and she laughed. Avoid this clinic at all costs! All the good reviews i have found are old. I visited Dr. holland who was very very rude to me didn't listen to me walked out preemptively and told the ladies in the front desk details about my appt! Who does that?! I came back to see Janine his NP because she seemed really nice and caring. Also their nurse who took my vitals is really nice too. She doesn't know much about medical tests but she's really good at her particular job. I had an appt at 915. At 1012 am i was still waiting to be seen. She was however very understanding and caring. Janine is good at explaining things but she's certainly not punctual. One thing is for sure. If you absolutely need to be seen i suggest Janine. Avoid Dr Holland!! I'm never coming here again and i suggest you don't waste your time. read more

Here's what I want to know ...... what kind of Doctor would cancel a mammogram for a 40-year-old male whose mom, aunt, and uncle have all been diagnosed with breast cancer, 30 minutes before their scheduled appointment? Apparently, it's Joshua D Holland, M.D. of Holland Center for Family Health. If that wasn't bad enough, they also changed his MRI appointment for his knee scheduled the SAME DAY!!!! My husband received a script for a MRI from Dr Holland WITH contrast, we show up with our appt and they say the "Dr called to change the order to "NO CONTRAST" .... Folks, we are SELF-PAY! Meaning, we have money in our pocket to pay for these x-rays and our Doctor thinks It's funny to change the scripts we requested?? So, I call twice to talk to the Doctor to find out why and he conveniently never calls me back. This is the world we live in right now. No one cares about anyone but themselves, so if you are looking for a Doctor who has no one's best interest at heart but his own, this is your guy. Terrible Terrible Terrible!! Do yourself a favor and find yourself another Doctor. This is NOT your guy. read more

I have seen Both Dr Holland and Janee, They are both caring and I feel so well taken care of. I had some real serious problems to deal with and I saw Dr Holland a few weeks ago and he made sure I was taken care of and his front office staff had all the information they needed to get me the correct referrals. I never have to wait long and there is always an appointment within a timely manner. read more

This is the most unorganized, unprofessional, and all around worst doctor I've ever been to in my life! Everything from the office manager, secretaries and worst of all, the so called doctor that can't remember something you told him 5 minutes after you said it!! Inconsistent with his diagnosis from one appt to the next. They lost all my medical records and tried to blame me. Until they got caught in a lie and a nurse came up and confirmed she saw them. I'm mortified by the way they treat people! Not only will I never be going back again but I will go out of my way to make sure that anyone I know and care about stays as far away from this poor excuse for a family practice as possible. Dr. Holland has been amazing to and with my elderly mom. He's not only been a great doctor, but an advocate and a resource. Every single time I call or we come in, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Dr. Holland listens to both me and my mom, and even conferenced me in when I couldn't be at an appointment.
