I have commented that the front desk needed more attention to handle patient call volume. He then had his front desk operator help me set up the Helo Patient software app on my iPhone. Once that was completed, his Office Manager met with me and took the time to teach me the patient basics to schedule my appointments, check on lab work results, and leave messages for Dr. Garg or the Office Manager. The program is wonderful and should be a favorable assistant to the Front Desk personnel, that the patients can control and utilize. The mantra "good help is hard to find" prevails in every business at the lower skill level. I am not willing to give up an outstanding physician when he has gone to great lengths to keep the staff employed for consistency and continues to find a way to strengthen and improve clerical deficiencies. This guy is a GREAT doctor, and worth the bother to get in to see him.

I contacted the office while there and had an appointment by the next week (this was a late Thursday, early Friday event). Unfortunately, that's when my experience went downhill. They rarely answer the phone, and that same issue seems to carry over to the specialists they refer patients to. I was referred for a sleep study, but no one ever answered the phone to schedule it. I left multiple voicemails and never received a call back. Later, I noticed an insurance claim for a sleep study diagnostic that I never had. I called the sleep office with no answer, so I contacted my primary care office. They told me they would look into it and get back to me, but I never heard anything. My blood work also showed some abnormalities, so I was referred to an endocrinologist. I was told to wait for them to call me to schedule an appointment. Weeks went by with no call, so I followed up. I was told it was strange and that they would send the office a message and have someone contact me. It's now been over a month, and I still haven't heard from anyone. I'm done with this office. I made the decision to take my health more seriously, and instead of feeling supported, I felt ignored and dismissed. It shouldn't be this difficult to get the care you need.

Excellent physicians, impossibly bad front office…read more If you can manage to make an appointment and actually see a provider you'll be pleased. The front office is abysmal, you can't get through to anyone on the phone. I have had to drive to the office more than once to get a question about a refill request or get copies of paperwork because it is absolutely impossible to talk to someone without waiting on the phone for a half hour or more (I'm not exaggerating). They now have a policy which requires you to confirm an appointment 24 hours before the scheduled time or they will cancel it without notifying you. I just left the office after being told my appointment, which I confirmed in person a week ago, had been cancelled. I tried to call and confirm it yesterday but, once again, no answer. No apology, no sympathy, just, "the soonest I have is 2 weeks out." Great doctors, if you can get in to see one.
