While the front desk was good enough and the only reason for 2 stars, NP Erbes was a nightmare. She has terrible bedside manner, she's bossy and intrusive. I went in for one issue and she started to berate me about my hormones. I've seen my own hormone provider successfully for over 9 years and didn't come to this appointment for anything related to my hormones. I thought maybe she had a bad day, but my husband saw her on a different day and when he emerged from his appointment he said "I never want to see her again, that was horrible." Again, he went in for one issue and she decided to focus on his cholesterol at 161 which is not even high. But she began to scribble on her note pad to take fish oil, (he said, I took one this morning and her response was "you should have taken 2) flax seed and get a follow up appointment to have labs drawn again. My husband is 60 years old, 6'1, 195 pounds and 15% body fat, impeccable labs, great blood pressure and very low PSA lab because he takes HRT. I would caution anyone from choosing this provider if you don't like being talked down to, berated and intimidated. I have nothing positive to say except we will never be back in her office again. read more

The worst facility you can go to ! I would never recommend this place for anyone keep in mind they are only Nurse practitioners NOT DOCTORS. They have horrible service from the beginning when you start off at the front desk ! If you are looking for a primary doctor do your research and find a real Doctor not a Nurse. I've reached my breaking point with this doctor's office. I was barely tolerating being shuffled around like cattle, but what could I do? However, every single time I call in, the front desk staff acts like I've interrupted their selfie sessions, and I'm just an inconvenience. When I go in, it's the same attitude: rude, unhelpful, and they respond as if I'm an idiot and should know their job. They've tried to overcharge me on my co-pay multiple times and then play dumb when I call them out on it. Recently, I needed to make an appointment, and I already know they'll make me wait a week or more because God forbid those women do their job. Even when I've paid out of pocket before, now that I have insurance, I can't make an appointment and call back with the insurance information without being treated like I'm the one intruding. Their crap attitudes make you feel even worse about yourself when you're already scared about your health. I'm literally on the verge of tears because it took me so long to find a doctor I trust and like, but the useless front desk girls make it nearly impossible to see him. read more

New patient "establishment fee" is $100 plus whatever your insurance copay is. They are no longer providing a service, a complete ripoff! I have been coming to this location for 15 plus years, recently my daughters became adults and I wanted them to come here. They wouldn't see them because they were new patients and when one spot became available they wanted her to pay an establishment fee AND then they would see her for a physical at a later date and at that time it would be only the copay. Also I will say that the drs don't last at this location, lots of movement in the last few years. read more

This practice will give you the RUN AROUND for mental health care. I was dismissed by an NP about my post partum depression and immediately referred to a psychiatrist. They run on making referrals for everything and anything! Then, I've been going in since March seeing different drs and at different locations for my ear that was leaking fluid constantly and having headaches as well and being told it's just allergies. Now, I finally went to a whole new practice and come to find out I have a perforated ear drum! Thanks IMS, thanks for not doing your jobs as health care providers. read more

The front receptionist two Hispanic women were the worst I have ever dealt with in a medical office profession. They not only were accusing me for some one else's bills but also were arguing with me in front of other patients. They were talking about my health information in-front of everyone in the doctors office. Which is a stick violation of my HIPPA rights. This was the worst visit i have ever have and now never want to go back to this office. I would not recommend anyone to go to this office. Front staff has no manners and I could still hear them whispering to themselves because I was trying to make it clear that I had no prior bill. This location is the worst choice if you want good care. The ladies in the front are rude, and they call you last minute to let you know your appointment is cancelled. They have no care or understanding for the patients that come in, they will cancel your appointment if you are late and take you back 10 minutes late when you are on time. If a patient is a no-show there may be a fee or termination if done repeatedly: Fair enough loss of doctor's time and a patient may need the time. If a patient is late, they may have to reschedule or wait to see if they can be seen. What do you do when your care provider is beginning to have a history of not coming in when patients are scheduled? Nothing you are completely helpless and at their mercy. I liked my DNP practitioner. During my last appointment with her when scheduling my follow up, I was told she was no longer making appointments. She will only be seeing patients on a walk-in basis. I have never heard of this. This could only bring chaos. I decided to switch providers and saw Dr. Gotchel, her supervisor and director of this facility, who lectured me, as soon as she came into the exam room, on how the DNP is a good provider. I never complained about her capabilities as a doctor. I liked her and wanted to continue with her, I just could not work with a walk-in schedule. I conveyed to Dr. Gotchel I never complained about her medical care only that I needed a physician with a consistent schedule. She insisted on having the last word and told me she was keeping her. Dr. Gotchel had to let me know she makes sure all is in order because she is the director. I felt uncomfortable after this and despite this condescending conversation, nothing had changed. I schedule my follow up with Dr. Gotchel again to give her a second change. On 12/15/2022, I witnessed in the waiting area an older woman with trouble walking in the waiting area being told her DNP, my same DNP, could not see her because she was not in and someone reached to her to cancel her appointment. The patient found no message or history of a telephone call on her phone. The receptionist told her to call to make an appointment tomorrow that she could not reschedule her with the DNP. The patient said it is not that easy, arrangements must be made for a car ride. I felt very sympathetic for this patient. It has been six months with this walk-in nonsense and for this patient I wrote this review. My visit with Dr. Gotchel did not go well. She had to remind again that she is the boss. Any doctor that does this run away. This office has high turnaround. There are signs all over for the patient to do their part but the doctor themselves are not doing their part. It is time to move on. I have sought medical care elsewhere and I am being treated professionally. Good riddance. read more

I needed information faxed to another doctor to receive treatment and she told me that she would "fax them over for the 4th time already" very rudely. I don't know where she got a 4th time from, I've only spoken to this office once about faxing paper work. Something should be done about her poor quality customer service!! So I haven't been to this place since June 2016. At that time, I had requested that my medical records get sent over to my new doctor. It's now OCTOBER 2018 and I come to find out the records were never sent!!! So now I need to go BACK to this place in order to figure out what type of pneumonia shot the incompetent assistant Aditi Johnson gave me. Why was she incompetent? I am an asthmatic and had to ask to get a pneumonia shot I ended up needing my gall bladder out. When I saw her after my ER visit, she insisted it was "just IBS". Um, no. I've lived with IBS for 10 years. I can tell when it's not that. I know my own cues, you know THREE of my referrals that I needed were NEVER sent! I had to go in and sit in the waiting room and not leave to get them. They ended up no longer accepting my insurance, except NO ONE told me until 9 months later and I had a $900.00 + bill She wouldn't listen to my migraine symptoms. She seemed pretty insistent that I was having mini strokes (ok, in her defense, my migraines are really severe. But I've been having the same issues for 10 + years. She wouldn't listen to THAT either). She told me I was on too many medicines without taking a full medical history. Ok, which one should I reduce? The one for my asthma, depression, severe GERD, allergies, or migraines? Awful, awful place. Stay away!!!! read more

I have been a patient here at IMS for many years now. For the most part I have received great health care. But today I did a virtual visit with Erin Erbes, NP and was not too happy with visit. I start by giving her my symptoms which are sinus related, and her first response was I need a covid test. She said it would determine how she treats it. She said if it came back positive just to take allergy meds, drink water, and take pain meds for headache. So I told her I've been doing that for 5 days now and still have congestion. I have stuffered with acute sinusitis practically my life and know when I have a sinus infection. If she would look at my file its obvious.. I've even had FMLA for sinus issues. Not happy with this visit and will never be seeing her again. What a waste of a copay read more

I have been coming here for over 10 years and seen a few of the MDs and PAs. I have been seeing with Paula Spaulding, PA for the last 3 years. I have been treated very well and she is truly concerned about my health. In 2014, I was so sick in and out of the hospital and seeing Paula. She was reading all my records, test, and images from the hospital stays (3x) and she ran her own test as well. She mentioned to test for Valley Fever and found I was positive. The hosptial missed this. I am so thankful for her persistent and interested in my well being. I even got a few calls from her and her assistant to make sure I was doing ok. Fast forward to 2016, I am still fighting my Valley Fever battle, she still request and reviews my specialist files to make sure I am on the right path. It is so nice to know that I am not just a # but I am treated like a human being. read more

I just have to say that I was a patient of Dr. Longuist ever since I came to Arizona and never had a problem and one day I saw Lilia Santamaria Cano and it was such a Horrible experience!. I don;t know if she was so stressed out during the pandemic but she definitely did not present herself as a professional. I had a sinus infection , needed antibiotics, called the office to get the antibiotics , but they insisted I come in to see her. I have had chronic sinus infections my whole life and know my body. I did take a covid test at home prior to going into the office. Negative. As soon as Lilia walks into the patient room and talks with me, she freaks out and literally says I could have killed her technician's mom, who was very sick at home, because I could have covid and infect them all by coming there. Why did I come there?, she ran out of the room and said she was giving me a bloodtest, then came back and looked at me , with my mask on, and said, o.k. be honest, do you wear your mask all the time outside of our office? I was totally shocked and to this day, can't get over the way she acted and treated a patient. She literally accused me of lying about my mask. She bolted from the room, with me on her tail, cause I was outraged, and I hear her yell down the hall about me possibly putting that technicians mother at risk again. To this day, I can't get over her actions and hope nobody else had to endure that. I never wrote a review on yelp about her but I did write to the office and I'm sure it was buried , so I just had to put it out there. What she did was not right and because of that, I could no longer go back there even though I liked Dr. Longuist. I switched offices and am so happy I did. Would never recommend her and she violated my hippa rights for sure!!!!! read more

Love, love, love my doctor Corie Kelly! She is amazing, very friendly, listens to your needs and cares. I've been seeing her for several years and sadly I won't be returning due to the front office staff being so poor. I called the office back because they cancelled my appointment I made months prior which happens way too often. I was on hold for 15 minutes, when she finally answered she was rude and kept having me hold on. Then as I was trying to make the appointment she put me on hold again for more then 10 minutes!! It probably would've been longer but I hung up I had already waited long enough. Every appointment I had there the front office was rude, they forgot to check me in and I waited over an hour and they weren't going to see me when they were the ones who messed up. I can't deal with the front staff anymore so I'll be finding a new office which is hard because Corie Kelly is a great doctor and also the only doctor I've ever had that I liked. read more

I've been coming here for 6+years and people are so friendly. There are couple of my favorite PAs I like there. Emese (i believe that's how it spelled) and Samantha Lee. First time with Samantha and she was very helpful. She was looking out for me and she was listening to my problem very well. I only had a problem with one of the PA there which I will never see again!!! I have told the office I refuse to see her. I can't remember her name but she scared me to death that I have some sort of disease without checking me. Wtf!!! But going back to my normal PA fixed my issue. Other than that I've never had and issues. Samantha and Emesse is by far my favorite. read more

When I first scheduled an appointment with Aditi Johnson a little over two years ago I had three complaints, diabetes, cholesterol, and low libido. I was treated for diabetes and high cholesterol, but was "too young to have testosterone deficiency", and was never tested and kept being told the same thing repeatedly.I settled for status quo and lived my life. I underwent huge fights with my now ex-wife regarding our sex life, was accused of being gay, and felt drained of energy even when waking in the morning. Ultimately I went through a divorce, still with no diagnosis nor testing on the part of Aditi Johnson or IMS Primary Care. Three months ago, I went in complaining of depression from the divorce, with no response, not even a care on behalf of my provider. Today I go for my appointment for lab results and to complain that she took me off my Cholesterol medications, and find out that my testosterone is indeed low, and need to see a specialist. Nothing regarding my depression post-divorce, NOTHING. I was told that I was resistive and needed to seek other medical services elsewhere and was dismissed. Dismissed for what? Actually caring about my health, and constantly questioning my care provider who was constantly dismissing my complaints?? I don't think so. You are in the business of treating people for various ailments. A patient should not be dismissed medically due to the providers inability to draw conclusions based on patient complaint and test data. In this case, testing data for my primary concern was NEVER taken until two weeks ago! TWO WEEKS AGO!! I wasted over two years of my life due to the ineptitude displayed by IMS Primary Care and its cohorts. Long wait times, crappy customer service from the front desk staff, and worse primary care physicians. I would steer clear from this place! read more
