Dr. Radoff is the way doctors used to be. His patients are not just another chart. Dr. Radoff knows every patient by name when they come in, and remembers them all. He takes whatever time is needed, to answer any questions his patients have and explains in terms you can understand. He reminds me of the way things used to be, before corporations took over and put stockholders over patients wellbeing. Dr Radoff is an excellent, caring doctor who actually listens to his patients. He has vast experience and uses conventional and, if needed, homeopathic medicine to treat the root cause of your illness. Homeopathic medicine has helped when nothing else did. After seeing him for a few months, I feel better than I have in years. Also, because he is a family practice physician he can treat a variety of issues, eliminating the need to see some specialists. His office staff is friendly and professional as well. I saw a review stating that Dr Radoff ordered unneeded labs just to milk the insurance company for money. Dr. Radoff is a quack at best and pushes non proven techniques and snake oil medications in the name of homeopathy. He used a Zyto scan on me that is considered fake science and charged me $400/- for it. Then came the sweet water in 3 vials that did not make any sense at all to me. Dr. Geoffrey's bottom is from the doctor. They took my blood for two days, the first day as if they weren't sure and the test was bad. The other day, the same thing happened with no blood results than the doctor wrote on paper. He gives patients an infusion, which is why he was given a blood test twice. He is a terrible doctor. Told me I had lung cancer & talked me into getting $ 300 IV therapy that wasn't needed cause a CT scan showed it wasn't cancer. Another visit he didn't address the issue I was there for & tried to talk me into another IV $300 treatment. I am sorry that the people below me had a bad experience with Dr. Radoff but I on the other hand had a life changing experience! I visited with him 2 weeks ago for insomnia, super low energy and constipation. Everything in my body was off. He gave me some pellets to put under my tongue and a couple exercises to help better my situation. In just two weeks I have been able to sleep at least 5 hours a night, I'm not as tired and I am pooping regularly!!! Very happy that my path crossed with his and he was highly recommended. First of all I would like to set the record straight on Dr. Radoff. I can only speak of his services out of Las Vegas, as this is the only place we have seen him. (I believe he sees patients out of California, and I know he comes to visit patients in Las Vegas at least once a month, and has his main office in Arizona) My son sees Dr. Radoff to help eliminate/reduce the many different symptoms that autism can have on people. Our goal is to get our son completely off the spectrum. This next sentence is probably the most important part of this review... Dr. Radoff makes it very clear that not everyone he treats for autism spectrum disorder are able to recover or even get much better. These kids/people are referred to as non-responders. (Luckily our boy is what is referred to as a responder) Dr. Radoff takes a bio medical approach to trying to solve the different symptoms kids on the spectrum might have. More specific, he takes the time to listen to what is going on with your child. Then uses his vast knowledge to run certain tests to help him learn more. He is very upfront about costs of different tests, and will not waste your money with tests that aren't necessary. Once the results come in, he is going over them with you, answering any questions, and then he will go over different possible treatments. He will give the patient/parents the choice of going with a homeopathic treatment or a more conventional medicine treatment. Dr. Radoff is an MD (he can prescribe normal pharmaceuticals) and a DHM (Doctor of Homeopathic Medicine). Dr. Radoff really believes in helping these kids get off of the spectrum in the safest methods. He will for the most part go with the safest method of treatment (unless an aggressive approach is needed), whether that means trying homeopathic before moving on to more invasive types of pharmaceuticals if said homeopathic treatment isn't showing the results we are looking for. Or it might mean starting with low doses, monitoring, and working the dosage slowly up to the recommended dose of any given medicine or supplement. The benefits our son has received from Dr. Radoff are nothing short of amazing! Before our son first saw Dr. Radoff he had lost all his words. His eye contact had fallen to almost nonexistent. Our son would have close to 10 meltdowns a day, with each one lasting at least 20 min, or longer. He would hardly respond to his name. He would obsessively line up toys and objects most off the day. It hasn't even been a year since we first saw Dr. Radoff (it's been about 10 months). Our son has gained all his previous lost words, plus about 100 more. Our son has great eye contact now, and his meltdowns have almost completely went away. If he does have a meltdown it's never more then 5 min. These are very rare now. He responds to his name when called. And he stopped lining everything in a row. Our son is not trapped in "another world" he is now present and learning. I also think it's worth mentioning that our son is yet to have had any kind of ABA therapy, which anyone who has a child that is on the autistic spectrum knows that is "the only known treatment to be clinically proven" to help our children. Well we are proof that there is more then just that alone. In a world where it seems every doctor out there just seems to want to prescribe antibiotics and send you away, Dr. Radoff is a breath of fresh air. I'm not quite sure what happened with a couple of the reviews for Dr.Radoff, but I would (and have) completely recommend any parent with a child on the autism spectrum to Dr. Radoff. read more

I am writing this review because I am so thankful for Dr Radoff and the staff at Alternative Medical. Dr Radoff initially began treating our teenage son in 2012, and now provides healthcare for our entire family. I consider myself fairly educated on biomedical and/or alternative medical treatments and with the endless intricacies of treating Autism/ADHD/Asthma/Allergies and so on. There are more modalities available than one can count. To top that off, each and every individual will need a unique set of tools to treat their particular condition. There is no "one size fits all" cure for any these conditions. I completely understand how costly it can be to pay out of pocket while trying one after another until something works. But I can say that with the help and guidance from Dr Radoff we were able to rationally pick and choose our treatments, and thereby saving an incredible amount of time, money and most of all LIFE. Dr Radoff is able to utilize his expertise and experience, the expertise of his impressive network of colleagues, all while remaining open and understanding the importance of parental intuition. With intensive therapies over the prior 2-3 years our teen has changed from severely low functioning autistic (physically, emotionally, mentally low functioning), to a well adjusted young man. His path has changed from needing 24 hour supervision and no real opportunities for an independent life, to being reenrolled in high school, having his first intern job, and will possibly drive and live independently someday. It is a long and difficult journey with no promises for the outcome. But without a doubt worth every second and every dollar, in my opinion. We had consulted with numerous other doctors and been so incredibly disappointed with their lack of knowledge, lack of any desire to obtain knowledge, and overall pessimistic attitude toward the possibilities. Most disappointing were doctors from within the medical insurance community. It is not cost effective for them to treat these children. We knew there was so much that could be done, but needed a medical professional to help guide us through the healing. We are forever indebted to Dr Radoff. Our son has his life back, with more and more potential everyday. The best words of advise I can offer are, stay open minded, educate yourself, then continue to educate yourself, look for the little improvements because they add up over time, trust your parental intuition and NEVER GIVE UP. I recently went to see Dr. Radoff as a new patient, getting in was easy but his staff are very in experienced! After explaining my issues he told me that I prob have Mono and that there is no cure but he has shots that i could take. When the results came in it showed that i have had mono and that i had a slight raise in my WBC by .04, he immediatly told me that I should take his Staph Hommacord (sp) which is $150 a shot and that i will need 2 shots now and it may cost up to $1200 all together! I was worried and scared..needless to say i did not take it and went for a second opinion..my blood tests there came back all Normal. Beware of this man he sells you overpriced, uninsured meds. get a second opinion if you have been told by him you NEED to get something that he sells that is uninsured! read more
