Amazing authentic pretzels! Really fresh and tasty. I recently moved out of town and make sure this is always a stop when I'm in Pittsburgh

I cannot say enough good things about this place, but let's see what I can say…read more I was at VegFest recently and I stopped by Allegheny City Brewing Co. to grab a couple beers with my gf since the vendor who was supposed to serve beer at the festival canceled last minute. After grabbing our beers I noticed a food truck out back and since the lines were so long at the festival we didn't have the chance to eat anything just yet. So we sat down outside and enjoyed our beers and then I said let's go check out the food truck and see what they have. It was a super cool looking truck and chill af out back so we looked the menu over and spoke to the guy working about their food and he was super friendly and helpful to which I really enjoyed chatting with about local food establishments and breweries. I ordered: - The Vegan One (Outstanding and maybe one of my all-time fav sandwiches) - Pickle Tots (Wow Wow Wow, insanely good) This food truck might be one of my favorites in the city and I cannot wait to try them again. Thanks bro :D

I gave them a call and ordered the city fries and the pierogies. They told me that if they weren't there in 20 minutes to stop by. I walked down and it was super close, maybe a 2 minute walk. They had my food ready and I paid and brought it back to Love, Katie. Our fries were delicious and so were the pierogis. I would definitely come back to try more items. They do have a dining room which was pretty full when I peeked in.

Their menu includes entrees such as ribs, brisket, and pulled pork as well as appetizers such as nachos, fries, and macaroni that are topped with the meats. Sides include baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread, collard greens, and potato chips. My husband and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. An employee immediately greeted us and gave us menus to look at. She told us that we could sit at any table of our liking. Many tables were available inside and outside, and I appreciated that the walls were open for fresh ventilation. We ordered our appetizers, and the employee told us that ribs would not be available to order for another half hour, so we waited for them. Our loaded nachos and loaded fries were topped with similar ingredients of shredded meat, jalapeno peppers, gooey cheese, and a sauce. The ingredients were fresh, and we enjoyed the flavors. Our half rack of ribs were tender, and they had a tasty seasoning that my husband wanted a little more of.

In fact, this was not my first time attempting to come here. I had arrived many other times and circled for a while and couldn't find parking or I would finally find parking and the line would be down outside the door. Clearly the universe was in a good mood this Sunday, because I rolled up and snagged a parking spot directly in front of the door. I felt chosen. Blessed. Like the biscuit gods had opened a portal just for me. Inside, there was no line! I manifested that on my drive in. As soon as I walked in, A super-friendly guy was cleaning tables and handed me a menu and told me to order at the counter. By the time I was done ordering a seat had become available. On to the food & beverages. I will be honest: I'm a certified coffee snob, so the iced coffee wasn't my soulmate. But the hibiscus tea? A floral little hug. Loved it. The corned beef hash with chimichurri was incredible. The biscuit that came with it? I crowned it with a glorious drizzle of sausage gravy, and suddenly I understood why people wait in long lines for this place. I would too. Happily. Then I tried the fried chicken biscuit with honey and butter plus a side of home potatoes, and let me tell you! That chicken biscuit could fix broken hearts. Those potatoes could end political conflicts. The whole meal was outrageously good. Believe. The. Hype. If there had been a wait, I now know it would have been worth every minute. Honestly, I might line up next time just for the full dramatic experience.

We just ordered takeout online. I got the Umami Gold poke bowl and it was fabulous! The yellowtail was so fresh. My fiancé got the California Avenue poke bowl and overall enjoyed it, although he thought that the rice was a tad too salty. We got the smaller size of the bowls and they were still huge - we couldn't finish all of the rice! We also split the California Avenue roll and loved it - the pieces were also pretty big. You really get a lot of bang for your buck here! Definitely want to try more of the menu.

The seafood they use is actually pretty fresh, and they are generous with the fish portions. I've gotten the Jack and yellow a few times (yellowfin tuna, yellowtail, jalapeno chips, and wasabi mayo) and have been pleased. It does have a kick with the wasabi mayo so beware! I would love to see them offer more sushi burrito options (currently only 3 on the menu) or a build your own style option. The sushi rolls are simple, but yummy. This is a good spot if you're craving simple, fast casual seafood, with quality ingredients. The staff have been so kind too!
