Now, before you criticize, let me tell the amazing job they did. My insurance scheduled 5 sessions with me. The first session was sort of an introduction and assessment of my needs. You know, arrive early to complete paperwork, make payment, and be introduced to the facility. The front desk secretaries are excellent at their job. They are social, quick, and multi-taskers. Pro-tip: If you want consistency in your therapy, schedule your sessions ahead of time with the front desk. If possible, don't cancel or reschedule. You are likely to get the same trainers, assistants, and aides, and you can grow with your routine. I don't recall it being busy in the seating area because there is a Physical Aide Therapist that pops their head out the door to call your name within minutes of checking in with the front desk. My initial meeting was quick, almost overwhelming, because so much goes on in this one large room. Cardio equipment, seats, massage tables (not the type you get at a spa but the types you see in a sports locker room), and colorful latex bands hanging over equipment. There is also a therapy pool where clients are doing exercises. Lots going on. There's no lounging around here. With the exception of the clients and their physical pherapy needs, there is always a Physical Therapist Aide turning off a timer, working with a client (maybe 2 or more at a time), wiping down benches, updating your chart, or standing by while a client is stretching. And by standing by, they are not hovering. They are literally standing a distance away, so you can do your exercise on your own. Meanwhile, the actual physical therapist (whom you meet initially) is on the side reading notes or heading over to speak with or work with clients. I remember asking my Physical Therapist Aide a question, and he didn't just give me an answer. He said he would ask for me, and the Physical Therapist appeared while I stretched to thoroughly answer my question. This place is attentive to your needs, and as long as you do your exercises, the healing process will continue. Thus, the reason they hope to not see you again: because you have learned and gone through the therapy to know how to take care of yourself. And that is what I did. You go here for therapy, training, and learning. It caters to a variety of clients, including young athletes. My specific condition is likely to return, but I now know some preventive strategies that will help support me. It's good to know that I can always call to ask questions.

There's weights, floats, and dumbbells all for the water. They do offer water aerobics classes (I personally don't know too much about them) and open water workouts. Must check this place out.

After a recent motor vehicle accident, I was referred here for treatment. During my initial visit, I left feeling hopeful. The office was comfortable, the treatment rooms were warm, and I was led to believe that my neck-related concerns from the accident could be evaluated and addressed. Unfortunately, my experience changed significantly at my follow-up visit. The roller bed treatment aggravated my symptoms and caused a significant pain flare, so I declined to use it again. When I discussed my ongoing neck and head pain from the accident, I was told that because I have an open Workers' Compensation claim related to CRPS, they could not treat my neck at all. This was very confusing because it contradicted what I understood from my first appointment. Dr. Ryan Falcias interrupted me as I was seeking clarification of treatment plan. I explained that I was seeking help for injuries from a separate motor vehicle accident, but I was told the only treatment they could offer was massage therapy. When I asked about CRPS, I was told they would need to check whether the massage therapist was familiar with the condition. That response left me with little confidence that the office was equipped to manage a patient with my medical history. The most disappointing part was the inconsistency between what I was told during my first visit and what I was told during my third visit. I made a good-faith effort to participate in treatment, but the roller bed worsened my symptoms, and I ultimately left feeling that my concerns were not being addressed. While others may have different experiences, this provider was not a good fit for me because I'm apparently being discriminated against for having CRPS in right side even though I'm here to treat the left side. Instead of making me feel better, they made me feel worse. They let me walk out in complete tears and disarray with having no clear plan of action and abandonment of client care and hopping over to next patient like I didn't exist. What happened today was ugly and unprofessional.

We got imaging done and decided to choose this center for her care. The initial assessment was pretty straight forward. But, what is impressive is how there is a goid deal of consideration with my aunt's language barrier and matched her up with a physical therapist who can easily communicate with her without the need of an interpreter. My aunt is so happy and excited. She is eager to come to her weekly appointment. The center is very busy even late into the afternoon ans that says a lot. Kudos!

I learned A LOT, but you have to be willing to ask questions to get that learning. The original Physical Therapist I was assigned was hired/promoted elsewhere and though I was bummed, the next Physical Therapist was equally knowledgeable. Physical therapy is fast-paced though, with a number of knowledgeable therapists assisting you on your journey to recovery. My first-session I was assigned someone who told me what to do, but I didn't understand why until I asked and that's what I needed: to be educated on why I had to try some unfamiliar exercises. And so, I learned. At All Star Physical Therapy, each Therapist is part of a team, with one main Physical Therapist taking the lead and reviewing notes of the assistants. So in my 5 different sessions, depending on the times you schedule, you will have someone different assisting you. I learned breathing technique, challenged my core, learned the importance of strengthening your core (it's not all about your tummy folks, it's about those problems areas around your back and legs, too!). The facility is small, but clean. There is constant cleaning and wiping down surfaces. Someone is always checking on you. And, a timer is ALWAYS going off because you will need to hold for 30 seconds or do the exercises within 30 seconds. Communication is key from both the therapists and patient, and no one was ever pushed (at least I didn't see it or hear it) by anyone. I was given the kind of attention I needed to be educated on my own body, and I appreciated that. Thank you All Star Physical Therapy.

We loved the nature hike we had "Jelly" (a couple of our groups got rained out-obviously to no fault of the camp), we enjoyed archery, paint ball sling shots with "Stitch", painting wood necklaces, drama circle, and an amphitheater with breathtaking views of the the sunset. We loved our hike to the lake for canoeing. I too thought the pool was chilly but it was clean! Their swim rules seemed to be really intense to me. "No jumping off the edge of the pool" hmmm ok. In my opinion overly cautious. However, the Rock wall was a blast, equipment was in good condition. Hatchet throwing was hard, but fun. I wish the hatchets were sharp enough to grab the wood. It was rare anyone stuck one into the log rounds. Some combination of wood being too hard or axes not balanced correctly made that activity a struggle. We enjoyed trying. The team building activities were thoughtful and stretched our girls as individuals and forced team unity. Maybe my favorite part of all of camp. They lost a star for food quality and portions but the staff was always in good spirit. I also wish our group had the entire cafeteria to ourselves as we often were low on space at tables and often went outside as our designated seating was full. But the food was served on time and they got a lot of people food in timely fashion. They were organized. Our cabins were dry when it rained and i felt safe from the elements and wildlife that can live nearby. Some mattresses were thicker than others. I was comfortable enough for a week of camping. The plumbing struggled at times but not sure that was the camps fault or the 85 GIRLS who MAY have not disposed of things properly. Lol Overall I think with some retraining on camp cooking and a minor tweak here and there this would be a 5 star camp. The location was beautiful. The staff was friendly. The activities were super fun!
