this place is now employing politicians' favorite method of endless spam texts to drum up more business, this is probably the 5th text in as many days. it's SUPER annoying. i went one time a few years ago because i was visiting relatives nearby, i don't even live there. and now they've decided to abuse my private info for worthless marketing. i have an idea: try working on improving the actual service.

Great location. Lots of parking. Joseph best stretch therapist. Need this place to help stretch out my tight muscles and tendons. Prices fair.

The staff is great but their membership plans are terrible. You have to cancel 30 days prior which is pretty ridiculous.

Then I found Fitness 19. It's smaller than most gyms, but that works in its favor. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. People actually come here to work out instead of sitting on a machine for 45 minutes scrolling through TikTok and guarding it like it's the Iron Throne. The place is clean, organized, and doesn't smell like a medieval battlefield after three days in the sun. Equipment is where it's supposed to be. Nobody seems determined to create chaos. My only complaint is that it isn't open 24 hours. Sometimes I get the urge to exercise at 2 a.m. after making poor dietary decisions and watching motivational videos that convince me I'm one workout away from becoming Batman. The pricing is reasonable, and they offer additional classes if that's your thing. Personally, I'm just a basic member, and the basic membership has everything I need. No gimmicks, no nonsense, no influencers filming workouts and then asking you to get out of their Oscar Worthy shot. For the first time in a long time,I don't dread going to the gym. That's probably the highest compliment I can give. 2 thumbs up.

The first several classes were really difficult, but I was immediately hooked!! It was exactly what I needed--- strengthening core, abs, arms, legs, and seat!!! Since the movements are low-impact, it is perfect for new moms whose bodies are still healing and recovering. The classes are still challenging, but I can definitely tell that I am getting stronger. I still have a long journey ahead of me to get back into my pre-baby shape, but I am so glad I chose pure barre to do it. All the instructors/staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming. They make sure to fix your forms. Every instructor/class has different styles so the classes are never the same, never boring. As I prepare to go back to work, I do wish there were later class times. As of now, 7pm is the latest. Finally, it is a great work out environment; it's very inspiring and motivating to be able to work out surrounded by so many strong ladies!

The instructor was nice and upbeat. Gave MANY hands on corrections which was appreciated but a bit uncomfortable at times. I did not know she would be touching places such as my chest and butt. Usually in my yoga classes we are asked if we are comfortable being touched and given corrections. However that was not communicated at this studio and the hands on nature was immediate and a bit uncomfortable for someone who was not prepared for it. Especially in more private areas such as the butt. Class was great- very hard and may be tough for beginners. Overall I do not think I will return given the price and the atmosphere.

The beginner series is a thoughtful introduction, the instructors are compassionate and knowledgeable, and the studio is always clean and welcoming. There are four poles, and while you sometimes share, it's part of the fun! You learn from each other, and the teachers keep everything safe and inclusive at every level. What makes this studio special is the way it builds not just strength, but confidence and connection to your femininity. I've been coming for 2.5 years and have been amazed at how capable I've become and how supported I feel. Jenny, the owner, keeps the curriculum fresh and there are monthly members-only workshops that deepen your practice and teach you the coolest moves. Personally, this studio has been life-changing. After a miscarriage, it gave me a safe place to heal, and years later I was able to celebrate my twin pregnancy here at my baby shower here! It's been a source of strength, joy, and empowerment through every season of my life. If you're on the fence, just try the 3 classes!!! Since my last review, there really haven't been any positive changes at this UFC Gym…read more First, I want to give credit where it's due. The lone janitor/maintenance guy does an incredible job. I'm honestly surprised he manages to keep the place as clean as he does by himself. He deserves recognition. Unfortunately, that's about where the positives end. There is a constant carousel of front desk employees. Trainers have almost completely disappeared. Ironically, I recently received an email advertising an "Elite" membership that includes unlimited classes and the recovery room. The problem is... what unlimited classes? When I first joined, they had an outstanding kickboxing coach, Jergoff, teaching multiple morning and evening classes. I haven't seen him in roughly six months. They also had an excellent boxing coach with real experience. I haven't seen him--or his classes--in a long time. I rarely see jiu-jitsu being taught anymore. Occasionally I'll walk by and catch a No-Gi class, but nothing consistent with the posted schedule. I haven't seen MMA classes running in quite some time either, and I honestly can't remember the last yoga class I saw. Could I have simply missed a few classes? Sure. But I've been a member for over two years, come in at all different times of the day, and I know who used to teach what. The original MMA coach has been gone for about a year. His replacement only lasted a few months. At this point, it's hard to understand why the gym continues advertising unlimited classes when so many of them either aren't happening or are incredibly inconsistent. From a customer's perspective, it feels misleading. That isn't even why I'm leaving. The reason I'm officially looking for another gym is because the newest bald manager decided to ban me from using the vibrating foam roller. His explanation was that it's a display model meant to be seen and purchased--not used. The ironic part is that on my very first day at this gym, I was specifically told that both the percussion gun and the vibrating foam roller were available for any member to use and were not part of the recovery room. I have no idea why this suddenly became an issue. Every time I'm there, I might see one person using the recovery room--if that. Me spending five minutes with the foam roller wasn't costing the gym recovery memberships. If anything, it highlights a sales problem, not a customer problem. This gym used to be alive. It was packed. Classes were full. Trainers were engaged. The recovery room had people in it. They hosted UFC viewing parties, raffles, holiday events, and there was actual energy when you walked through the doors. Now the atmosphere feels desperate. Empty. Sad. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was because most of the staff have always been friendly, and the gym has remained very clean. But being told I couldn't use a foam roller--after years of being allowed to--and then immediately receiving an email trying to sell me an "Elite" membership was honestly insulting. Over the next few days I'll be trying other gyms. If I find one I like, I'll be back to cancel my membership. If not, I'll keep looking. Either way, I'll be canceling soon. For anyone considering joining, I honestly don't think the upgraded membership is worth it anymore. The access-only membership has gone up in price, and the premium membership no longer offers the value it once did because the trainers and classes that justified the cost simply aren't there anymore. Yes, the recovery room is nice--probably the nicest feature the gym still has. But many competing gyms include amenities like saunas, pools, and hot tubs in a standard membership. Between that and the growing number of affordable at-home recovery devices, it's hard to justify paying roughly $120 a month for a gym that no longer delivers what made it special. When professional fighters were teaching classes every day, on schedule, there was a real argument that the price was worth it. Today, I don't think there is. More than anything, I'm disappointed. This used to be one of my favorite gyms. Watching it decline over the past couple of years has been frustrating. Ironically, the final straw wasn't some major issue--it was being told I could no longer use a foam roller I'd been allowed to use for years. I hope that decision was worth losing a loyal customer.
