Let's start with the positives: my stretchologist, or should I say Dr. of Stretch, was very nice and asked me a ton of questions on where I have pain and stiffness. The experience of having her manipulate my limbs in a way that was relaxing and also felt good. This is where Stretchlab earns two starts. My advice is to be crystal clear on how long your session will be for and exactly how much they will charge you, including special socks that are mandatory. The cost for this service is very high for a non-professional, non-medical treatment to your body. Stretching works to relax you. Stretching works to relieve some tightness and even some pain, but it is not physical therapy. Physical Therapists go to many years of school to earn their doctorate in PT. They do so much more than stretching you. The service you get at a good PT can't be compared with stretching you. The cost of stretch Lab is $110 for 50 minutes, or $440 a month for four sessions. If you do to research, and find the true facts. Stretch Lab is more expensive than going to a certified Physical Therapist who do so much more for you. read more

I did a free trial stretch in July, and the facility was clean, brand new floor-to-ceiling, and the staff was OCD about masks and cleaning frequently. Totally felt like a safe establishment. During that 1-hour visit, I found that each stretching session is tailored to your own comfort levels, with verbal feedback ongoing between you and the stretchologist. That session added a new perspective to my whole-body fitness, so I invested in a package of 8 sessions for 50 minutes. I do the 25 minute sessions 2x weekly. I absolutely love my Flexoligist Deric Chang who is absolutely AMAZING! He's highly trained, extremely talented, and knowledgeable. I've been suffering plantar fasciitis for months in severe heel pain. Nothing had worked. In just my very first session with Deric I left 90 percent better. Only 1 session took the majority of pain away! That was enough incentive for me to continue. Deric has not only been eliminating the injury almost completely for me, but helped release other area injuries I had as well. I didn't have to say a word to him where the other areas and pain were. He found and stretched the spots, knots, and splints on his own but also educated me, and gave me tips, etc.. Thank you Deric!! Your sessions are 5 stars!! I have been suffering in great pain with Plantar Fasciitis in one foot, knee pain, and severe back pain due to a couple of injuries. As of now... My posture is straight again. My heel, strained tight calf shin muscles are now loosened which has now decreased the muscle soreness and released the pain. My back and neck pain has decreased. My knee that gave me pain and tenderness hasn't given me any issues. In just the small amount of time I've been there I've had amazing results. How things have changed. This location is now managed by Corey. I have been a customer for almost 3 years. I quit today because this location kept deleting my credits because of lack of use. With no consideration for all of the times they canceled my sessions because of many various reasons. And many times, nobody was available to stretch me. No availability but they still deleted my credits. And Corey has been so rude about it all. Just kept saying it's policy. And would not let me speak to his boss. Flat out denied me from taking my case to someone who can help me. This place is absolutely being managed to the ground. It's absolutely horrible. I was a great, consistent customer. I actually signed up in February 2020 (pre-Covid) after doing a demo stretch with Christina. The studio had not even opened yet but is a 5min walk from my house. The studio officially opened in late summer. I try and exercise 5x per week, but I never take the time to really do proper stretching afterwards. I have been seeing Christina and Miranda primarily and they're great! I have also had a few sessions with Isaya who does a great job too. Matt (manager) and Kelly (owner) have been great and always very personable and accommodating with my crazy work schedule. If you're thinking about trying them out go do the demo. I've been coming to the Stretchlab for close to a year, I think. It's been a really amazing experience. When I am stretched I feel relaxed like I've had a massage only better....all the flexologist I have worked with have been really good and all of them are friendly and helpful. Each of them has a bit of a different style. Most recently I had Julian and I was really happy and impressed with the stretch. He knew exactly what I needed. All of my dealings with the front desk have been positive as well. Matt is very good at accommodating my wacky schedule and gives me options when something becomes available. Just over a year now, I've regularly attended StretchLab with my flexologist Kasey C. and I continue to improve! When I first started StretchLab, I was caught in a vicious cycle of pain and immobility, and needed to make progress. For an inflammatory arthritis and fibromyalgia sufferer with multiple old injuries to my spine, shoulder and hips, discovering that I can be pain free and pill free for a few days is very big. It's part of getting my life back! No matter what my orthopedic complaint, Kasey is never at a loss! My first stretch sessions were for pain control, so I could cut back on medications, but soon I used stretch sessions for increased mobility. Initially, my joints (& the surrounding muscles) were completely inflexible and rigid, but now I am able to swim laps, and recently joined a high intensity water-aerobics class. I'm really happy I discovered the StretchLab. This particular StretchLab is very clean, I'm always given a friendly greeting by one of the flexologists when I walk in the door, and it's a very positive, upbeat atmosphere. I went in feeling pretty tight on my lower body from lifting weights, and I left out of Stretch Lab feeling like a million bucks! Tightness was dramatically reduced and felt like my recovery time has been cut so I can lift again. My flexologist was Tyrell and he was amazing! I've been coming here for almost 3 months know and I always look forward to my next session. I usually get stretched by Kasey and Keren. They are attentive to my needs and would ask if anything was bothering me (ex. Back pain, pinch in the arm, hamstrings are tight, etc.) and would focus more in that area. I am a StretchLab believer! I have been getting stretched weekly since this location opened roughly a year ago. This location is conveniently located near my office. The owners, the Hartmans, reside in Irvine and are active in the community. The Hartmans are super nice and give back to the community. The General Manager Matt is wonderful and always confirms my stretch sessions beforehand. I have been stretched by 5 different Flexologists and had an amazing experience with each one; each one has their own style within the StretchLab methodology / format. The facilities are clean, sanitized, safe and modern. Clean ADA bathroom in the studio. I have referred / recommended family and friends. I have seen tremendous health benefits from my consistent stretch sessions. Also a stress reliever. I had 4 major knee surgeries years ago and this is a form of physical therapy for me as my health insurance no longer covers physical therapy treatments. I am a distance runner who spent the past couple of years coming back from an Achilles injury. Miranda from Stretch Lab has been a force multiplier in my rehab efforts. Our weekly stretch sessions have me back running my regular mileage pre-injury, and my stride length and cadence have incrementally improved. But most importantly, I am running pain free. During the pandemic and gyms closed and doctors office no therapy this was the place to try. And through my amazement and months of stretching I am very close to we're I was before. All therapists were very good and I took to a young lady named Christina who treated me like her parent and cared for me and I found out took detailed notes so when I wasn't able to see her they had notes to follow, to corporate this lady needs some kind of acclamation to the job she does to keep customers coming through your doors weather she gets a little raise or rewarded in some fashion cause I truly appreciated her care. Please note my star rating is not for the therapist or the people there it is strictly the membership structure. I wanted to try assisted stretching so I came in and had a few sessions. The people are knowledgeable and I enjoyed working with the therapist I had so this is not a reflection on her in any way. My issue is with the membership they have you commit to. I had originally just wanted to pay per session because I was not sure if this would benefit me and I was steered into the membership instead which is a minimum 3 month commitment. I did agree and take responsibility for that but if you are considering this please make sure you think you will use the 3 full months because I am cancelling before the 3 months are up and i still have to pay. read more

The place is a ripoff. I was told when I started that I was buying a three-month membership. I signed a contract on a tablet and was not given a paper copy. I actually signed a contract for a month-to-month membership, where I would have to give written notice 31 days in advance to stop. I was never told anything like this when I signed up. StretchLab is a great experience all around. The staff at this location is great, the buildout is super nice, and scheduling is easy. I'd recommend for all ages! I sit in an office chair most of the day and stretching has helped me tremendously - relieve lower back pain and keep me from feeling stiff. I feel like I know how to stretch and probably should at home but I never do. Having someone stretch me is just so much better, and I actually do it! My growing, athletic boys are 10 and 12 year old. They are enjoying StretchLab as well - I'm seeing major benefits for them too that help with growing pains, preventing injuries and keeping them mobile.
