This review is based on an experience I had yesterday. My wife and I have been buying Loungefly bags, wallets, patches, keychains and many other items from Awesome Collectibles for about two years now. I usually come here and buy my wife a new Loungefly item for her birthday, Christmas, etc. Today, my daughter noticed they had some "knock off" Loungefly-style backpack bags in front of their display, with different prints on the front (Disney, Baby Yoda, etc.) for $35. All of them had little plastic keychains hanging from the zipper. My wife bought one of those bags, and I noticed the keychain was missing after she paid. My wife told me the lady took the keychain off, because apparently was a very small print on the sign stating that the keychain, which was already attached to all of the bags on display, was an additional $5 charge. TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH TACTIC. Normally our experience here is always pleasant, so I went back to the lady running the place and politely asked if she could please just give us the keychain, as I didnt feel the bait and switch tactic was morally correct. Apparently she no idea, or just didnt care, that I was a regular customer here. She immediately gave me an attitude and said the small print says the keychains are extra, and they are just there for decoration. I said, "why dont all of the other bags inside the booth have keychains then?" I told her that I felt it was a little shady. She immediately just said, "I'll just give you your money back." In other words, she basically could care less. She would rather a lose a sale, and all of my future business, over a $5 keychain, which they probably get at cost for $2 or $3 or maybe even less. Seems crazy to me, I guess business is that good for them?? All we wanted was for them to make it right. Goes to show their level of customer service. This store does false advertisement. Don't drive out of your way. In their social media post it explains this is there clearance table. There are certain items on this table that they have multiple available on their shelves around the store. One knows that when you Arrive to the store the product will be there at discounted price. When entering today there was another cart next to the clearance table with the same bags that were in their social media post. We grabbed two bags getting ready to purchase the manger told us they were not on clearance. I showed her the their social media post and screenshot I took of the bags I wanted. She goes on to tell me that this cleanance table is only in the morning !? That they are on clearance and it's first come first serve situation. And that they may refill that same bag tomorrow! When she has a cart right next to the table with same bags that were in the post. This information should definitely be on the post not as clearance but as a promotional sale. Then I asked okay so are the ones in your post defective or have imperfections and that is why they are on the table for clearance. Then she says NO it's a random selection. All in all this store is giving false representation on its "clearance" and not giving proper clarification on what is "clearance" in their sale. As in the photos I've shared this is what it looked like when we arrived in comparison to their post. They should also update their posts too as to not waste customers time. THE MANAGER was condescending , unprofessional, and rude. Will not be returning. read more

This place was cool but over priced. I bought one piggy bank and was the only one in line which is like 5 feet away from the door where the security was at. When I paid I went ahead and choose "no receipt "....so I turned around and was about to walk out and the security stops me and says "receipt?" I told him, "oh, I asked for no receipt " and he just says in a attitude, "It's in your bag" I opened it and was like okkkaaayyyy...and then he just follows us outside but stays by the door. Do not buy anything online from them until you see the item. I bough the nightmare before Xmas Oggie boogie bag and had it shipped. I ordered 2 and one was fine the other was dirty. Had black marks on it. I emailed them with the picture of the dirty bag. I wanted to exchange it and they said no they didn't have anymore to exchange. So I told them to give me a discount for the bag because it was not in good condition, they refused. This will be the last time I ever buy anything from them and I make sure I tell everyone about them. I wish I would have read the reviews before buying. I try to support small business but a lot have terrible customer service. I will stick with boxlunch, never had issue with them. read more

I come here a lot to buy POPs, trade, and collect. They have crazy deals during the holidays and have huge turnouts. They have extremely great deals on Grails and have a huge assortment of inventory. I've never personally seen so many Lougefly Bags, Purses, etc. If they don't have it I would be surprised if anyone else did. Anyone that is complaining that hasn't been to the visit you should ignore and disregard. They have nothing better to do with their lives and like spreading negativity. read more

don't even waste your time with this place. especially with their crappy service, you are better off buying your things somewhere else. so i had place a pre-order few months ago knowing i wouldn't get the item till july 2022. i recently received an email stating my item was ready for pick up. when i arrived at their location, one of the worker told me the email they sent was an error and i am not allow to pick up my item till july. like what on earth? where was the email informing me not to come? they said they did send an email notifying me it was an error. if i had gotten the email would i show up?!?!? anyways. i was pretty upset since i drove 40 mins for nothing..i told them just cancel my order. instead of trying to make things right the girl that helped me said they would charge me a 25% cancellation fee.. excuse me? charge me for canceling because of your own damn mistake? i don't think so.. so i said forget it and walked away.. a moment later she said she will cancel my order without any deduction but i will no longer be able to order this item for 3rd or 4th wave.. like wow what kind of crapppy customer service is that!?!?! after this do u think i even want to come back and purchase anything from you guys!??! no i dont think so..!!! read more

They also have book cases of the more collectible expensive Funko Pops that are hard to find. They carry LoungeFly Backpacks (wallets and purses)from over 300 styles to t-shirts to Dragon Ball Z action figures to hot wheels and toys for younger kids also Neca Horror Figures like IT Chucky Jason.. All the horror classic and also Marvel Legends and cannot forget Power Ranger figures as well! Plus pins,patches and lanyards and phones cases. That is just one store . They have a great collection, but if you're planning to sell your collections or individual pieces this isn't the place. Keeping the business aspect into consideration their offers are clearly expected to be lower than the value of the pop, since they have to make money, and yea it's understandable that when selecting new items is for the benefit of their business. However I was disappointed in the the absurd quantity offered for pieces of my collection, the offer was so low, that it gives them plenty of space to mark up the value. The same pop they had in display was worth 120 dollars, while giving me the offer, of 70. However I do have to respect their professionalism and customer service. Don't waste your time ordering from these people I received my backpack three months later when they said it was going to be here within 3 to 5 weeks haven't received my hocus-pocus wallet that came with a backpack and it's already almost to mid October I ordered these in July they don't care they keep blowing me off I have even spoke to the owner literally the worst people to make business with there were so many other site's you people can order from do yourself a favor!! This is hands down the best Funko Pop storefront I have ever been to. Prices are great, owner is wonderful/super nice to talk to and it is a fabulous establishment. I went out of my way to go here after seeing posts on Instagram and it was beyond worth it! Not crowded inside and well organized - you can see all the items upfront so there's no digging around. Don't waste your time and gas on all their false advertisement's. To start off, I've boughten loungefly backpacks a few times here, and keychains, I was always happy, that's all I would go for, when you look around at the other items they have EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING is super over priced, my husband wanted to buy a funko pop and was priced for $40 plus tax (regular size) and we saw Amazon had it for $10, and so did target for $12. Basic hotwheels are $15 when Walmart and target have those same basic ones for $1 +tax, and they always advertise that they buy funkos and other collectable items. (Wed-sat only) so my husband collects hotwheels and he was interested in selling his really cool collection, he went and waited in there for 30 minutes just for a gentleman to tell him they don't buy hotwheels, took them that long to tell him that. Then I took my brother to sell some funko pops, before we went we called and asked, and they buy any funko pops, they told us they do buy any funko pops, to bring them in and to have a price in mind. my brother has great condition funko, some even have the protective case) and we went, went inside told them we wanted to sell them, female worker barley even glanced at them and told my brother that her manager wasn't interested. I was puzzled, because she didn't even take them out of the bag my brother had them in, nor did the manager LOL! I just started collecting Funko Pops about a month ago and I've been to so many collectible stores in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and in the Valleys as well. And this store in the heart of Bell is by far the BEST. And what do I mean by that? The Owner, prices, selection. The service you receive is amazing. The owner is very knowledgeable. His inventory is with the new and limited pops. You can't beat the prices. I know because of all 15+ stores I've been to in a matter a month. When I found this place I really liked the variety of things they sale so I went a few times and recommended my coworkers and family members to go check it out. 1st issue was that I noticed that the price at the physical location was different from what it is online I inquired about the price difference and never received a response even with the price difference I bought the item online my niece loved it so I got it and opted to pick it up. Now recently I wanted to buy 4 items and pick them up even though the website says free shipping if you purchase over 75$ saving them shipping right? Sent a message and asked if I paid cash and with the items being purchased if he could provide a discount and was given an amount FLAT agreed to the pick up date. Then one day before pick up I'm told that they did the math wrong and now the amount is 60 more than the amount I was given. No apology was given and it was just a matter of fact response.
