The original dryer switch problem was solved in a few minutes. Then he tested and found poor air flow. I told him that we wrote that off to it being an electric dryer because I had already power cleaned out all the lint from the venting in the wall when we got down here. Don guessed that the flapper might still be plugged and I told him that was on my list to borrow a ladder and finish the cleaning of the top. He got his ladder out and did it. Now there is draft. He then leveled the washer and checked inside the front when he noticed that the drum was off balance. (This was way beyond the original service call and we appreciated his thoroughness and extra effort.) We have a family owned business up North and we know when another contractor goes above expectations. He did. He said there was no way to install the part because it can only be installed at the factory using foam adhesive pressed in. Otherwise, he cleaned the refrigerator and freezer drains which solved the two problems of excessive moisture and ice accumulation. Only negative is that when I made the appointment, the customer service representative advised buying the gasket from a third party, but then the technician and his supervisor said it could not be installed successfully. They should coordinate with the people making appointments on this issue. Not cheap, but quality work, which is more important.
