It's important to share every experience to give a more well rounded exposure. I moved to the south shore recently, I tried MT nails first before going to Amazing Nails. A technician at MT tore up my nails trying to remove a previous gel job. She used her own finger nail to remove the gel instead of leaving the foil on my fingers longer. It was uncomfortable and it was something I could've did myself. In exchange, I opted for a regular French manicure to cover up my newly scratched up nails. It wasn't the cleanest job and they chipped within a day. I walked into Amazing Nails one evening hoping they would take a walk in appointment 30 minutes before closing. I had to fly out the next morning for a wedding and they happily took me with no hesitation or hassle. While getting a pedicure, they multi-tasked by doing my manicure prep at the same time. It was fast and professional, both mani/pedi lasted me for 3 weeks. The girls were very friendly and personally I'd feel more confident going back to Amazing.

I went in for a mani and a gel pedi, $35 each. Not unreasonable. No soap, crystals, or astringent…read moreof any kind in the pedi water. My water was tepid, but I didn't say anything and should have. The gel mani was minimal. Water for soaking cuticles was tepid and there was no soap in the water. The technician didn't dehydrate my nails which I know (my sister is a nail tech and way too busy to fit me in) is necessary so that the gel polish stays adhered to the nail without lifting. Again, I said nothing to the tech. What I did finally say was that my gel polish did not match my toes; the tech worked and said nothing. When I spoke up that my hand polish was pink and my toe polish was blue, she acted surprised and said they were the same number. I responded that whoever had filled this bottle filled it with the wrong polish. I chose another color to have over the pink and it worked out almost identical. Now, I do have to say, much to my surprise, that I am at two weeks and the gel that I thought would be peeling and gone is still going strong. It's been two weeks tomorrow I don't think I will go back but I can't say that either of the services haven't lasted.

She didn't let it dry between coats and used way over 3 coats of color alone. Because it was coming out really streaky. I let it dry at drying station for 30 mins and left with sandals on. 3 hours later I put on shoes and this is the end results. I went back in and they accused me of messing them up, no apology for their mistake. They agreed to redo them but it still not an amazing job, left paint on my skin and it looks very rushed. Let's just hope the nail polish stays on this time. Over priced and bad customer service. Deserves one star as I had to attend and event with this awful paint job. My feet didn't even feel smooth after the pedicure.
