When I entered the salon, it took 5 minutes for anyone to even greet me in order to find out what I needed done. She used an old polish and decided to cake it on. She didn't let it dry between coats and used way over 3 coats of color alone. Because it was coming out really streaky. I let it dry at drying station for 30 mins and left with sandals on. 3 hours later I put on shoes and this is the end results. I went back in and they accused me of messing them up, no apology for their mistake. They agreed to redo them but it still not an amazing job, left paint on my skin and it looks very rushed. Let's just hope the nail polish stays on this time. Over priced and bad customer service. Deserves one star as I had to attend and event with this awful paint job. My feet didn't even feel smooth after the pedicure. read more

I went in for a simple manicure with a friend ( couldn't get to my regular place, see my review). We weren't greeted right away and had to explain 3 times that we wanted JUST a manicure and we wanted to be side by side, we haven't seen each other in awhile and wanted to catch up. The tech kept leaving the table to greet people and check people out in the middle of my manicure. It was the longest manicure I have ever received and ontop of it all the polish started to chip after just one day and I couldn't go back in because the next day was a holiday! She never spoke to me or asked any questions about how I wanted my nails and spoke Vietnamese loud in my face and ears to other workers in the salon. Never going back again.... read more

I went in for a refill and I decided to get my eyebrows done too. I told her I like my eyebrows stay full not thin. When I got up and looked in the mirror she made them so thin. Not only where they than but also spotted and crooked. I was devastated it took me a while to grow my eyebrows out so that they were full and not thin anymore from abuse of wax service who didn't know what they were doing. I told her that I wanted to keep them the way they looked I just wanted them cleaned up and I was just devastated. read more

terrible job! I got a full gel set and this is what they gave me. Not only was the polish messy the nails itself are very bulky and ugly. Don't get your nails done at Golden Nails in the westgate mall. I got mine done there today by the manager and they were awful. I had two crooked nails, a barely filed thumb nail, and the polish didn't even reach the cuticle. I nicely told the woman "I don't mean to be rude or to complain, but I'm really unhappy with these. They're very sloppy." And she told me to sit down and then said "if you see something wrong with your nails tell me while I'm doing them next time." I told her I didn't notice until they were under the drier and she sarcastically said "mhm sure", and rolled her eyes. Two minutes pass by and she tells me "i'm not the one who doesn't know what they're doing." I don't say anything and then she says "you can stop being mad." I was completely nice to her and she was very rude to me. She then continued to shake her head and sigh while fixing my nails. So don't go to golden nails unless you want to pay 35 dollars for a rushed full set and receive an attitude if you speak up. read more

I couldn't get to my usual place since I was working late but this place goes by the mall hours and wasn't like most places ! Luckily it was open past 7! I called ahead to make sure they would make time for me and not rush my nails! They told me to come in after I got out of work, no problem. So I went in after work .. I got a full set! And although I can't remember his name he did an amazing job! The place isn't much it's pretty small but everyone was very nice and friendly in there! It ended up coming to $35 before tip not bad ... Terrible service. I walked in about and he and half before closing and asked if it was okay and they had time to do a mani and pedi, regular nothing special. They said yes. Around 8pm they started rushing me while I was getting a pedicure trying to do a mani at the same time while I was trying to relax. They put a towel on my Armenta without my consent and were about to proceed to do my mani but I refused. After some rational arguing from my part I agreed to get my refund for my mani. So around 8:30pm my pedi was getting dry and they tried to rush me out again while they waited for me with their coats on and everything ready to go and close before 9pm. I left and when I got home I realized my nails were not dried at all. They're ruined. Totally had the worst experience ever. The manager was rude and very unapologetic towards my reasoning of why they're conducting business as they did with me. Horrible service. WORST PEDICURE EVER. Went in with a few friends to get pedicures and received the worst one I've ever gotten. The woman doing my pedicure was more interested in watching the TV than working. Not only did she cut my toenails so they look VERY obviously crooked but she kept digging and clipping the skin around my big toe until it became swollen and red. I have normal, well-mannered feet (I get a pedicure at a different, much better place every two weeks; I only went here because I was visiting a friend who lives near by). I will NEVER go back! I would go somewhere else. The owner did my gel manicure. She did a terrible job...she painted the sealant onto my fingertips, applied the color unevenly and down into my cuticle, and left my cuticles ragged. She needs to buy new dryers for the gels- they don't work and she kept having to shake it to make it come on. Because my nails didn't dry properly before each coat, bubbles developed on 3 nails. I showed them to her, but she pretended not to see them... She rushed the woman doing my pedicure and decided to apply the gel herself (ugh). Needless to say, she messed those up too. The paint on my big toe was raised up on the side. I showed her and she tried to do a quick fix which didn't work. Then she finally realized that she had to re do the entire nail and tried to rip the polish off without properly removing it. She buffed the polish off my nail so roughly she made my toe sore. $43 for a gel pedi and $35 for a gel mani...total rip off. read more

Wow what a great experience I had today! I got a pedicure and a that gel shellack. I love the way my finger nails and toes look. They where super fast. They had a lady working on my feet and a lady working on my nails at the same time. And I really appreciated this because I had my 3 year old with me and her patience level is very low. I also had them just give her a simple toe paint to kinda keep her amused. The ladies at the salon really went above and beyond to make my 3 year old feel special. They really impressed me with how sweet and caring they were towards my daughter. I would definitely recommend to a friend and I will be going back soon! I went in to get my eyelashes done. The Lady who was doing the extensions made the experience very uncomfortable for every time I moved or blinked she'd rudely say don't move! She also did not explain the process of it well overall when I asked questions. They came out good, I can't say they did not. However, My real eyelashes now that the fake ones are coming out, look TERRIBLE and I would advise anyone to NOT get them done. They simply destroyed my eyelashes, something Golden Nails forgot to mention. Overall rude service and bad feedback! read more

i am well was a regular customer of this place and today i came in with my daughter was going to let her get her nails painted so she picked out a color went to sit down and dropped it by mistake....the owner made me pay $5 for the nail polish so needless to say i told her off and took my business elsewhere....they are always packed losing one customer probably wont matter to them but shame on them for charging $5 for a half empty polish that a child mistakenly dropped....shame on them! read more
