This was my first and last time going here. An older lady did my feet & she did not scrub my feet good. I kept saying harder & she said "No gentle". Every time I told her what I wanted she would look at me and then say something to her coworkers. She also messed up my big toe and made it too short! I am very upset. I had not had my feet done in a month and my usual spot was closed. I also had to wait 45 minutes until I was served although I had an appointment. This place has taken a nose dive. I have gone here for a few years and they must have changed hands. There is always a nail tech sleeping in one of the pedicure chairs. The last time I went I waited for a tech for 5 minutes and no one came, and the tech was sleeping in the chair. I got a gel manicure, and it was more like a polish change because she didn't do anything to my cuticles. The pedicure chip in 1 day because of the way they cut the nail. Buyer Beware! I called the salon before I went. The woman told me a dip manicure was $45. When I arrived, I asked how much a gel manicure would cost. I was told $40. I was also there to have a basic polish change on my toes. The nail tech removed the polish on my toes & filed them. She then told me a gel manicure would be $45 and a dip manicure would be $50. When I asked why the prices of the services increased, I was told there is a $10 charge to remove the old dip! I have been getting dip manicures for 2 years and have NEVER been charged extra to remove the old dip. If that's the policy, when a customer calls, the customer should be informed that if they have existing dip or, if they will need tips, there will be an extra charge. When I communicated to the staff that this was a very deceptive & unethical business practice, there was another customer who was getting a gel manicure. I walked out of the salon without any manicure services and my toenails bare. When I got to my car, the other customer walked up to me and asked me how much they quoted me for a gel manicure. I stated the 1st price was $40 then it went up to $45. The customer showed me her receipt. She was charged $65 for just a gel manicure only!! So that's 1 person (me) who avoided getting ripped off and 1 person who, unfortunately, DID GET RIPPED OFF, on the same day no less! If you or anyone you know of gives this unethical Nail salon their business, I would suggest taking your money elsewhere. Nail salons are everywhere & they are a dime a dozen. I have been going to a neighboring nail for over 10 years, but my nail stylist left and I have not been that happy with her replacement, so I decided to look for a new salon nearby. I dropped in to Pro Nails this morning, shortly after they opened ,for a basic pedicure just to test the waters there. There was only 1 other customer, the owner greeted me and called to the back for the stylist. I waited about 5" while he was on his phone (in plain sight). Then I waited until he prepared the foot spa and again while he gathered his supplies. Ok, 15" in and now we begin~~~ I don't know the gentleman's name, he never spoke to me but rather had his air pods in the whole time. That's ok, I was reading. My feet had only been in the spa less than 3" when he started cutting my nails, yanking on my toes with each trim. When he began to cut the cuticle, I had to pull back several times as he was nipping me with the cuticle scissors. I even gave an audible "ouch" and he tried to tell me he was cutting dead skin! Um, NOT my first pedicure bud. Never cleaned under the nails, no message to the feet (only the legs), never offered water and the polish (my own) was applied poorly so you can plainly see the first layer and the second do not meet, probably because he rushed through the whole process ~~even though the shop still had only one customer being helped be someone else! I don't know if he was new or just completely untrained but that is definitely NOT the way a manicure is done, and I have been having pedicures for over 50 years in many salons in many different cities/states. I would never go back here and will probably return to my old salon where they at least know how to put on a coat of polish correctly. read more

Horrible service. I've been going to this place for years, but this is my last time. The man who did my nails was absolutely rude to me. I had asked for a French manicure with a fade. He did the French without putting any undercoat just the top coat polish. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and picked out colors. He proceeded to change those colors and told me it was ombre and not a fade. If he had told me at the beginning that he wasn't able to do this, I would've just gotten a plain color. But he did not tell me this and when I asked if we could do manicure without the added line and just French manicure, but orange he told me he "had other customers". At this time there was one person waiting who got seated 2 minutes later. Even though I had asked for less bright colors and he did not listen. I left the salon feeling defeated and not listened to. I'm not going to go back. I used to go to this place all the time but then moved to the other side of Braintree. I came back for a refill on Monday with my seven-year-old daughter who wanted to get a manicure. The woman that did my daughter's manicure was so sweet and so nice I gave this facility three stars because the one woman was nice and the selection of colors is great, however, I had the man that did my nails. He grabbed at my hand, yanking them and ended up cutting my fingers right in the crease where it hurts even three days later he also didn't paint the sides of my nails and the top of the fingertip, or even down to the cuticle area and when I pointed that out, he got mad and started talking to the other women working there angrily as if he was mad that he had to do it my nails just look shoddy and they charged me $70 to paint my daughters nails and for me to have a refill I would just recommend not having the man do your nails because he rushed as quick as he could when no one was there anyways I just don't wanna go back and have my fingers cut up read more

I get my nails done often and have tried many places around the south shore area. By far the best nail salon around! I have been going to Jenny for over a year now & always leave satisfied and loving my gel mani/pedi. She always takes her time and fits me into her busy schedule. Came in on a Friday afternoon for a regular manicure. Personality-wise she was one star at best. Very clipped tone, and she left me at the nail dry station with no instructions as to when I was supposed to get up. I will say that she shaped and trimmed my nails just fine, but was very sloppy with the color and the top coat. You can see where the top coat is on my nails which is really disappointing. I don't think I will be back, since I could do a better job myself at home for a fraction of the price. Maybe if I was doing a gel mani maybe I would have gotten better service? They do an ok job and are all very pleasant and professional but it's the most disorganized business. Regardless if you have an appointment you can be asked to leave because they are too busy and if they let you stay they will take you at least 20-30 minutes after your appointment. If you don't have three hours to kill to get a manicure I would recommend going somewhere else. read more

I wish I knew the lady's name that did my nail. My nails look horrible, thankfully I didn't get a pedi cause I would've wasted too much money and still have a shitty result. She painted all my nails 2 coats except for two fingers, which she did 3 coats because it hit her hand... which means two of my nails are darker than the rest. The sides are barely painted and since I got matte pink you can still see some shiny parts. I'm very disappointed with the shape of the nail as well and the thickness. I had to go home and fix them myself because they were very thick and VERY crooked. On top of all that she cut me 3 times. Also there was dried up blood underneath the acrylic nail... if I get a infection from the acrylic tools I'll make sure to be back. Not going back there for any other reason and wouldn't recommend going there either. read more

Bad customer service! I made an appointment for 9:15 am for a full manicure and pedicure for my daughter and I a full 24 hours in advance because of an event we had the next day we arrived at our appt right on time at 9:15. There was only 1 person available to start our services who started to fill 2 pedicure stations. The woman did not start my daughters pedicure until 9:30, I was still waiting (feet in Luke warm water at this point). At 9:36 another customer enters the salon apologizing for being late and the woman doing my daughters feet STOPPED AND WENT TO DO THE OTHER LATE CUSTOMERS FEET! She looked at me and said "sorry she had a 9:30 appt" ummmm I don't care! We had an earlier appt that we were on time for and she was literally in the middle of my daughters pedicure!!! So RUDE and completely unprofessional! We walked out. When a customer makes an appointment, that appointment should be honored and any walk-ins that enter 5-10 min before should be asked to wait if there are no available staff, that way when the customer who has a scheduled appt can be seen when they arrive ON TIME. read more

Sooooo... I will start this by saying I'm a little picky. This place is a good back up to my normal nail place when they are closed and can't get me in. Service is honestly hit or miss. Sometimes they are super friendly and sometimes some people can be a little short with you. That being said they are open 7 days a week so everyone gets to have a bad day. I can be a little picky about the shape I want with my nails. I also prefer that all of my nails have the same shape. That being said if I want my nails short and clean they do a great job. I love the hand warmers and the little shoulder massage you get with your service. So I will say they are good but not great. read more

The place is nice looking but my nails look horrible. I was there for an hr and a half to get my regular dip powder. I never had been here before. First of all she cut 6 out of 10 of my fingers and over cut my cuticle and my hands hurt so bad. The polish is not all smooth because she used regular clear nail polish on top of the dip which is not how you do it my nails are all smudged because she didn't use the right product to finish it all my nails are a different shape I clearly wanted square and they are anything but that they are kind of round but not really they are so bad. and I will never be back again I never leave reviews like this but the amount of cuts on my hands right now is not ok. I'm a cosmetologist and I have learned a lot of nails and how to do them and how to do the dip and I would say she did not follow how it's supposed to be done.
