This place is going to be our go-to place from now on! First of all, people were so nice. Place was clean. Food came out very fast. Sashimi pieces were thick and tasty. I have braces and can't eat something chewy like octopus or small like Tobiko. They let me avoid those and made a delicious chef's special for me. Food was amazing. When we were finished, all the staff members said have a good day and we appreciated it. We've never had sushi chef did it to us. We need to come back to try more food soon! read more

The rolls and sashimi are fresh and delicious tasting while the rolls are not loose and a perfect size to eat with ease. The staff was friendly and our food was brought to us amazingly quickly. Ok here's the first thing the front entrance is as hard as hell to find if you haven't been here before , I did an online order for 1215 pickup when I arrived it wasn't ready and the very nice young lady said I was two hours early ..... well a mistake made , my order email confirmed 1215 pickup... so 20 minutes after arrival my order was ready . Only got take out but it was very yummy. I got the Godzilla roll and another baked roll and both were tasty. The quality of the eel on the Godzilla roll was very good. I did not get to try any fresh rolls which are usually my favorite but they had red snapper on the menu so I am excited to try them again soon. I wish I could find a spot in the valley with fresh chunky wasabi but this was was also not it. Thank you for being so close, having such good service, and having such fresh food. read more

Delicious sushi! The food was BRILLIANT in this cozy, SMALL spot however, patrons, waitress and owner (?) did not embrace the mask policy even though there is a sign on the doorway. Hence three stars. Several people who came in to order for a take out did not wear a mask and one female with a take out order was mask-less whilst carrying on a conversation with the female owner (?) who also did not have a mask on. AND the waitress?? One must lead by example......The food was very good but will not be back in person based on the lack of masks in this very small restaurant - maybe only take-out. read more

I walked into this small dining spot hoping to experience the fresh authentic sushi experienced from my travels to Japan, Korea, LA, NY and Vancouver. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and a combination of sashimi. I found that if the spicy tuna is great that the roll creations are usually fantastic as well. Jackpot!!! The chef barely speaks English and can whip up a roll quickly and perfectly sized. I brought friends from Alaska back with me a couple days later and we ordered six rolls between the three of us. There was just something off about the taste of everything. Off is the only way I can describe it. I like to use ginger to cleanse my palate between flavors, the ginger tasted wrong. We got deep fried California rolls and tempura vegetables and shrimp. All of our food was amazing, and our waitress was very nice even though she was super busy!! Just about every table was full including two seats at the sushi bar. Our waitress was attentive and kept our drinks full and checked on us often without being overbearing!! This place is butt. The reviews have to be fake lol. Small villages in Alaska have better Japanese food. The tempura is so oily you can use it in your car.
